They're not REALLY Ouchless, but...
I don't know why Curad refers to their band-aids as "ouchless". `Cuz when I rip one o' these bad-boys off, it stings pretty bad! Especially if the wound you're coverin' up is surrounded by a decent amount of body hair! Great, now I've got a little rectangular-shaped bald spot on my arm. Now I know how the ladies feel about the ol' wax-and-rip dealy with leg hair... yowch!

But eventhough I find their "ouchless" claim somewhat fraudulent, I've discovered that pullin' off a Curad don't hurt quite as much as a Band-Aid would. And Curads almost never leave behind any kind of adhesive residue, unlike Band-Aids (sheesh, what do those guys at Johnson & Johnson use for adhesive-- tree sap?!).

But my favorite feature on Curads are the pull-apart tabs that make opening up the bandage package very convenient. I've always been annoyed by the little red string in Band-Aids, `cuz it'd almost invariably break off before I got it halfway down the length of the package. With Curads, just pull apart the two tabs, and voila! Just be sure not to open one of these up too quickly, or else you run the risk of sending your little cut-coverup flying!

And not only is the opening of a Curad much more convenient compared to its biggest competitor, it's also a somewhat entertaining experience. Find a remote part of your domecile that's good `n' dark, and watch the little static electricity show! Just make sure you close up the rubbing alcohol bottle before you proceed. I used this product when one of my sons got a cut on his elbow. It worked well through several baths and was great at sealing out the water (as well as dirt!) Will definitely use these for my kids, but I would have liked to have seen more sizes available.

The bandages worked fairly well but I didn't really find them terrific in the water-block area. I've used other brands of waterproof bandages that I believe resisted water better. They lasted through several hand washings, but later on in the day I had trouble with them staying on. They were good at not sticking together while putting one on. They were also good at going on parts of the body other than the hands.

The bandage feels like a quality product with the tape portion looking very strong, yet flexible on the skin... Steps ahead of the old plastic-like bandages. This product will work well for very small wounds, as the actual gauze portion is only a short strip within the bandage. Unfortunately, I didn't find it to be very effective at waterblocking, as it started falling off my hand after the first light handwashing.

Product failed to meet my needs
These wipes only include a 40% ethyl alcohol concentration (the packets call it "SD alcohol") and I had assumed (erroneously) they would have at least a 62% alcohol concentration.Also, there is an ingredient Parachlorometaxylenol (PCMX) that seems to have given me a paper cut on my left pointer finger.Would not recommend this product to others. ...
