Worth Every Penny
I am in the military, and carrying needles just wasn't working.This allows me to inject my insulin without worrying about a sharps container.While it is not pain free, if you are afraid of needles or are just someone on the go, this is for you.

This is an exceptional product. I was completely surprised at how easy this was to learn to use. The instruction video was very helpful and very detailed. I didn't feel like I needed to ask questions after I watched the video and read the manual. This product is so great -- no more having to buy needles. And I know that my dose is right! It's wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this product. It's the best thing they've come out with in a long time. Please -- if you're insulin dependent, this is a must-have product. I'd highly recommend this to my family and have already told a friend about it.

I really liked the training video -- it was immensely helpful in using the injector. The training adapter helped me get used to handling the injector and comfortable with it. The feel of the injections took some getting used to, as it was vastly different than using needles. The only drawback was the need to get different insulin to use in it. I'd recommend this to new diabetics. I think it'd be easier to get started with this injector than to switch to it and have a lot of insulin around that you can't use.

I liked the opportunity to Test Drive this product. I, however, found this to be somewhat complicated to use. It comes with an instructional video that helped somewhat, but it took quite some getting used to compared with the traditional needle injection. I plan on practicing and using it more.

It was very easy to load the insulin, inject it, and reset the system for the next use. There's much less discomfort than a needle, but you should still be prepared for a sensation. After the initial cost of the unit, the price of replacement needle-free syringes is very close to the cost of a box of ultrafine syringes. However, in my opinion, there's much less waste, better ease of use, and less discomfort with the Medi-Jector. I'm very happy with the Medi-Jector and will continue to use it. ... Read more

I hate needles.
Being a type II Diabetic, diagnosed 10 years ago, I was shocked after 6 years to find my medication was no longer doing the job. My Doctor told me I needed to take Insulin on a daily basis.I was scared, not because of the insulin itself but because of the needles. I hate needles,never liked them and never will.I went crazy trying to find an alternative. That is when I came across the Advatajet system. I was a little aprehensive at first but when I thought about the alternative I had to give it a try. I am glad I did! It didn't hurt. It looks like something Doctor "Bones" McCoy from the Enterprize would use. ( I can here him say "anything else would be Barbaric Jim") I found it to be well constructed, easy to use and did I say it doesn't hurt!My biggest fear now is that I might leave it somewhere or lose it.

I have been using my "Sugar Stick" for about 4 years now and would recommend it to any body of any age who hates needles. It is too bad so many people in the world have to live with this desease but at least this product makes it a little bit more bearable.

The support team for this product is patient and understanding. Being a big baby and an Engieer I a had many questiins and made numerous calls to these guys.They made me feel at ease every time.

Pain-free for our dog , and peace of mind for me
When our dog was diagnosed with diabetes, we were shocked and more than a little upset at the thought of giving her a needle twice a day.After several agonizing months of trying to control her sugar with needles (she climbed the walls), my husband and I searched the internet out of desperation.I left a message for Mr. Stemp, asking if the AdvantaJet could be used on dogs.He was wonderfully helpful.We decided to try it and it was the best thing we ever did for our beloved dog as well as for ourselves.We bought the second jet a couple of months after the first as we did not want to ever be without one.Delivering the insulin via the AdvantaJet is a breeze.It is 100% dependable, easy to load, easy to inject and best of all, it is controlling our dog's sugar without pain!Our vet keeps telling us to continue what we are doing because it is working so well.I know if I had to inject myself because of diabetes, I would buy an AdvantaJet.I tried it on myself before I used it on the dog.It doesn't hurt!!!Thank you Dick Stemp & AdvantaJet for making life easier for three senior citizens (two humans and a dog). ...
