Excellent product at a great pricee
When dove started coming out with this line I wasnt expecting much. I didnt even buy it the first time, I got it as a sample.

I was wrong - This is an excellent conditioner for dry hair like mine. It feels nice and creamy, is easy to rinse out, has a nice light scent and really does seem to soften my hair. I also have my son using this and he also likes it as there is no ultra-girly scent to deal with.

I like to use the shampoo as well. For such a great priced item this is a wonderful buy. There is a nice amount of product in the bottle and for the price, it can't be beat. I have used lines of similar pricing and havent liked them...and I have used lines that are much more expensive and I don't see the difference....it works just as well as conditioners that cost much more.

Its OK.
This straightener is ok. It says you have to wait 6 to 12 min. but its takes longer. The straightener makes your hair un-frizzy if you use the proper shampoos.

Worked for a while...
This straightner does work nicely, however, much like the other review I read my straightner also decided to never heat up after I only used to 4 times. There must be some kind of problem with the manufacturing of this straightner. Don't buy it unless you want to use it a few times and then need to buy a new one.

Great value!
I wanted to get a straightener but wasn't sure which brand or what kind to buy.I askedmy hairstylist about straighteners and she said that price wasn't really important--cheaper products could be just as effective as more expensive ones.The only things you need to watch out for (especially if you color your hair or have dry hair from styling, etc.) are that there are adjustable heat settings and ceramic plates rather than metal, because it won't burn your hair that way.This is a great buy because it has up to 25 heat settings and ceramic plates.It heats up within about a minute or two and only takes about 5 to 7 minutes for me to get my hair extremely straight (my hair is naturally straight and fine but I have a lot of it).I have had this product for about a year now and have never had any problems with it.Highly recommended!

ALL YOU NEED
I read several reviews when looking for a flat iron and they terrified me. The only good reviews were for VERY expensive flat irons. Others warned of short life spans and melting handles. I bought this flat iron because it was afordable and I thought I would take my chances. Well, I love it! It has been all that I wanted and needed. It heats up very quickly, and the ceramic iron does not stick to your hair, even with heavy product use. It has an adjustable heat setting which has been the best feature for me. Not the best dryer/styler
It takes so much longer to dry your hair with this thing than it does to blow dry it with the Revlon Ion Dryer and then straighten your hair with a straightner.I really do not think that this is a good purchase because it takes so much time to dry your hair.(it took me 25 min. to dry my hair and it doesn't even go past my ears)

Yay Revlon
I love this thing. I only buy Revlon products because I've come to realize that they're stronger than other brantds. I bought it for like $15 at Kmart. I had one before but this one is new and improved and seems more powerful than the other. Its cool because it dries your hair, straightens, and gives it flip or curl. My hair is hard to handle because I dye it and it looks really dry when I style it. With this thing, I use it and it takes me only like 20 minutes to dry, and style my hair. The first day I used it people were like "You're hair is so nice today! What'd you do!?" Use this product with a syrum and hair spray. Thats what I find works best :)

Don't do it
I bought this item at Target (same price) because I wanted to straighten and style my hair in the same step.Looked like a good buy, but wasn't.I returned it after getting super frustrated with the product quality.It doesn't have a cool-shot button, so it overheats every few seconds and quits....wait for it to cool and it turns on again, speed up the process by taking off the attachment and blowing into it....huge hastle.I never did get my hair all the way dry with this product.The product I swapped it for was a Conair double ionic port dryer, with a cool shot button, we'll see how it goes. ... Wonderful !!
I only like to use irons in humid weather or for special occasions, and the HAI stick is excellent. If my hair is a fuzzy, humidity-induced mess, five minutes with this restores my entire shoulder-length hair to a sleek 'do'. It heats instantly and I only keep on for five minutes then I turn it off. The heat settings are great, permitting heat control for more fragile areas of hair (typically the front and sides), where one can use a lower setting. Overall, a very positive shopping experience.

Worth the money!How did I live without this?
I have been straightening my hair with a dryer for years.Someone in a salon used this on me and I was stunned at the silky results.The price turned me off, but then again, I have NEVER gotten results like this with the $20 regular iron from the department store.A friend knew how much I adored this, but didn't want to drop the cash, and got it for me as a gift.

This has now become an indispensible part of my hair regimen.I usually blow dry my mid-back length hair with a dryer, since that's pretty fast, but I can be kind of careless about it because I follow up with this iron.I section my hair and get it super smooth and shiny with this iron.I love the small plate size because I can roll the hair around the edge of the iron and get it to curl under.

This keeps my hair going for days.I can just freshen it up with the iron, no need to dry my hair out by washing and blow drying every single day.If I come in contact with a little rain and get frizzy, I just touch up with the iron.I love this product!

There is no heat-up required with this.I plug it in and it is ready to go in a matter of seconds.The variable heat settings are great.I use a lower one and I've never needed to go to the top end of the range.

so worth it
This iron is absolutely fabulous. It gets your hair completely straight and so smooth. I've owned 2 other straightening irons (both conair). The second one did a great job straightening, but my hair was left very damaged. This iron eliminates all frizz and damage, which the conair definitely did not. Definitely worth the $75; I would purchase this again.

Irons
I work in a beauty supply store so i was always recommending it to people who were looking for irons. I only found out how awesome this thing straightened after i bought it for myself! My hair is usually sort of wavy and gets frizzy from time to time, but with the ceramic technology (which eliminates frizziness, hair damage and is humidity resistant) it heats twice as fast as the other drugstore ones i've tried and does the job in half the time! Dont be fooled by the ones that say ceramic but only sell for about $30-40... they say ceramic, but the truth is theyre only ceramic coated (still with the metal plating underneath which will cause damage). However these ones (including brands like chi, superstar, hairart, and solano) are the only ones that are truly ceramic PLATED. & they have a heat setting as well. This thing goes up to about 400º whereas the metal ones only go to 200º. And on the plus side the plates are beveled (or round edged) so if you feel like going straight one day, you can also use the edges for little flips another day. The drugstore ones are thickly SQUARE plated and if you tried to do that you would only get crimps in your hair as you do with curling irons sometimes. Trust me you'll love it!!!!!! ... Read more

The best blow-dryer ever
I never knew how different a blow-dryer could be until a friend of mine came over with this dryer and I could not believe how good my hair felt afterwards.I ended up buying the thing that night and threw that other conair one out.(bought an extra travel one that week too)

Great hair dryer
I really like this hair dryer. It is lighter than my last dryer, and very easy to manage. I like the setting options: cool, warm, or hot; and low or high. I use the warm & high settings. I think it dries my hair a little bit faster than my last dryer, and my hair feels Great! No frizz, not fried, just smooth and shiny. My hair is fine, not thick or coarse, so maybe that makes a difference in my experience.

Louder, Heavier, & Bigger than I thought it would be.
This dryer is nice, it gets hot and does the job. However it's much louder than I imagined, far from quiet. It's much bulkier and heavier than I would have prefered.

DON'T BUY THIS DRYER!!!!
I am not sure if I got a dud one or not but my experience goes like this.For the first two months of owning this hair dryer, it did a fine job.Nothing out of the ordinary--dried my hair just fine.The last time I used it, I noticed the general smell of burning hair when I was done.The dryer did not feel overly hot so I wasn't sure what happend.The next thing I noticed was the floor of my bathroom.There was alot more hair on the floor than usual.Upon closer inspection, I felt sick to my stomach.I noticed that there were actual clumps of hair that had fallen out---including the root.They smelled like burning hair.There were sections that had 10 hairs clumped together by the burned root.I was scared.Needless to say, I am running out today to buy a new hairdryer.Because of the burning smell, I know the hairdryer is to blame rather than a medical condition or something else environmental.Do yourself a favor and purchase a different hair dryer.

Move Over Professional Hair Dryers
I purchased this dryer for about (a little money). one week before I purchased my professional Solano Super X ("SSX") for (for more money). and after using this one for about one week, then using the "SSX" for another, I went back to this one and noticed the difference in my hair immediately.My hair much is smoother, shinier and the (split) ends lay flat with the Revlon ION. My hair doesn't feel like it's parched compared to when I use the "SSX".Yes, it's not an expensive professional dryer so it may not last as long as the "SSX" (I won't know because I won't be using the "SSX" any longer) but it makes my hair look 100% better after it's dried than the professional dryer does and it's a much quicker, healthier dry time.I receive compliments on my hair when I have used the Revlon ION dryer, and needless to say, no compliments on my hair when I have used the "SSX".Buy one, make sure to leave the ION setting "ON" (not sure why you would NOT want to), you won't not be disappointed!! ... AMAZING !!!!!!
This item is truly amazing.I love it.I have fine straight asian hair.However, within 8 minutes, I can transform my pin straight hair into a headful of wavy curls.I've gotten so many compliments.I am considering buying another iron as a reserve in case mine is lost or becomes broken.I would be absolutely devastated if Vidal Sassoon discontinued producing this product.The curls I have gotten are similar to the type of curls one would get from braiding wet hair and then sleeping on it overnight - except 50 times better !!!Give this product a try ... its amazing !!!!

I was very excited when I ordered my triple barrel curling iron from Vidal Sasson.I immidiatly tried it, and followed all of the instructions.I have thick hair and I was very surprised how well it worked on my hair.However, after I used it it had a crimp like effect, but slightly bigger waves.If this is the look your going for, this is perfect for you!

Hey, it works for me !
I was looking for something "different" without going to a salon. I just got over a drying perm from October. I have fine, but not thin color treated,blonde hair. Was a bit scared of the size of this thing, but....oooh...how shiny...had to buy it. Well, everyone loves my hair!!My husband says I look 5 yrs younger, hey "Are you leaving the house looking that good?" You know....It gives me loose perm like waves,last til the next day. Japanese Straighteners
Didn't any of you guys do your research first? Especially since it is
dealing with "your only head of hair?"This is how it works:

This salon process (new japanese craze) straightens hair so effectively that its recipients can even dive into the ocean and emerge unkinked. The first treatment takes at least four hours and costs between $400 and $1000, depending on the salon as well as hair thickness and length. Afterward, your hair will stay pin-straight and glossy for four to six months.

Basically, a solution is combed through your hair that completely breaks down the protein molecules of the shaft. This is necessary if you want to get it super straight. Most perms and relaxers are formulated with alkaline solution that breaks the chemical bonds that hold the hair's protein molecules together. Once the bond and cellular consistency of a hair shaft has been chemically torn apart, it can then be molded and reshaped by means of rods and rollers. But in this process,a glycolic acid-derivative, which is traditionally used to perm hair, is relatively mild compared with the chemicals in conventional straighteners. Then instead of a traditional blow-dry, your hair is then clamped between irons and heated as high as 356 degrees to realign the bonds( that were just broken down) in stick-straight formation (the thermal part of the thermal reconditioning). Hair is left more porous than before and may absorb dyes unevenly; highlighting those newly sleek strands can be a straight path to disaster. Although gentler than traditional straighteners, even the mildest ammonium thyoglycolate will damage your hair somewhere... and heating it up to 356 degrees Fmay not help.

Straight to the Maxx and products like it do not break the protein bonds of your hair, you will not have limp lifeless straight hair out of the shower because unlike the salon process, it works by slipping "only the hydrogen bond" into a straight position. The result will be that you will have smoother sleeker straighter hair, but you'll still have to use a blow dryer and/or iron. Try using an iron that has a temperature dial(so it can heat up to salon temps). That will make a difference in itself. Also, any flat iron that takes longer than 5 minutes to heat up will not get the job done. You can find the dial models at any Walmart, Target, or Kmart.

Not that bad
This product was pretty.I love flat straight hair and for the first time got it.My hair is puffy and with lots of volume no matter what I do.It damaged my hair a little bit, it looked dull but I put all sorts of leave in condicioners and finishes to stop looking dry and dull.I would buy it again, I have not found any other product that will live my hair so flat and straight.

Not that Great
I decided to try this product after my cousin claimed she had excellent results and found it was not all that great. It definitely did a lot of damage to my hair. My hair was slightly straighter then average, but it still took the same amount of time to straighten my hair as it usually would. I would not buy this product again. I think it just depends of what kind of hair you have. I have wavy/curly hair. My cousin has really curly/nappy hair.

Just Don't use the Hair Care Products
I have very naturally curly hair, and decided to use the chemical straightener it came with.Why I did this, I don't know, seeing as how I like my curly hair.I just like to do it straight because I like the way it looks both ways.The straighener smelled horrible and my boyfriend hated it.It did make my hair feel course, and I didn't care much for the shampoo or conditioner, but I didn't expect it to be salon quality either.What you are really paying for is the cermanic straightener, which I believe is worth the money.They shouldn't have included the other products, however, seeing as how they either damage your hair, or seem to be completely useless.I think the straightener is great and I highly reccomend it, but don't even think about using the products it came with.Save some money and buy one off Ebay, you can get it pretty cheap there.

Aromatherapy in the Shower
I love the scent of this conditioner. That is why I buy it. Otherwise, I love mixing it with olive oil and heating it in the microwave for a deep conditioner. If you have dry hair, you will love how this product works in a short amount of time.

The container is also very unique.There is no cap to open, you just squeeze the bottle and set it back on the shelf after you have the amount of conditioner you need. Most convenient.

Five stars for the delicious aroma! It makes me heady and I imagine I'm conditioning my hair in a rainforest filled with flowers.

It's hard to find good hair care products ...
It's hard to find good hair care products for thick, curly hair. I've heard mixed results on the Aussie line, so I was prepared to dislike the product. After using it, I'm very happy to say it actually tamed my wild head. My hair has been easier to control and definitely softer. The scent is nice, without being too strong. I can actually run my fingers through my hair and that's quite amazing. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor is a winner in my book!

I have permed and color-treated hair and the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle worked wonders. It made my over-processed hair very soft and gave it back some added volume and bounce. Also, it takes only a small amount of the conditioner to make a difference on my hair, so I don't have to run out and buy a new bottle every week. This product was easy to use. I have very curly/frizzy hair and found it worked pretty well. However, it didn't give my hair the shine or softer texture I'd hoped for. I like the Frizz-Ease Styling Creme better. But the Aussie price is better than the Frizz-Ease.

Powerful dryer in a compact package
This gets 5 stars for delivering a powerful jet of air in a very compact package.It's lightweight and easy to wield.After using these folding-handle dryers with the short nozzle, I'll never go back to those heavy long nozzles.This is way easier to use and to get around the back side of my head.

I'm not sure how the "ionic" stuff works, but I see it on all products these days.I do know that I can get my hair shiny and straight with this product in a relatively short amount of time.This has both heated and cool setttings, which is a must.

I love that one dryer can be used for everyday and for travel.There's no need to buy a wimpy travel dryer for packing along; this one folds up into a nice small bundle.Great for keeping in your gym bag, too.

I've been using this dryer for over 6 months and I haven't had any hair sucked into the back.That used to be a problem with my older dryers.

Quieter, faster drying, with a shiny hair benefit!
I purchased this dryer a couple of weeks ago when my old dryer died. I have been so happy! It is so much quieter than my last, bargain hair dryer. I can actually dry my very thick, heavy hair without frying it! I have also found that my hair has been noticeably shinier, especially when I dry it fully after showering. The "cool" button allows a burst of cool air. I use the "cool" setting when drying my shih tzu's long hair, and he doesn't mind getting dried like he used to(this does require holding down the "cool" button, but I don't find that difficult, and alternate between warm and cool).

It ate my hair
This blow dryer is NOT good.I had it for about a month, and one time I was blowdrying my hair and it sucked it in from the back part and broke.Now it doesn't work and when I turn it on it smells like it is burning and makes a weird noise.NOT happy--don't buy it.

Lasted 3 months
Well the price was nice for what the dryer offers, but the "hot" heat setting became disfunctional after 3 months of usage so naturally I was dissappointed.I think it might have to do with the rear filter getting clogged with dust.

My old dryer was also a Vidal Sassoon and that lasted me well over three years because that filter actually had a removeable filter that you can take out and clean.

Good dryer
I've had this dryer for a couple of months now, and have had no problems. It seems to dry my hair quickly and leave it soft and shiny. I'm not quite sure if the ionic switch does anything or not, but it's a good product for the price.

Unsafe Hair Dryer!
I've had this hair dryer for two years and was pretty pleased with its performance. That is, I was pleased with it until yesterday. I was drying my hair as usual when it briefly stopped working and then huge sparks shot out of it! After flinging it across the room and unplugging it, I looked for the cause. The way the cord attaches to the unit is faulty and is easily damaged. This is poor design and could lead to some serious injuries.

Please think twice before buying this dryer!

Awful Blowdryer
This blowdryer sucks.I returned the one I bought.The warm setting is a joke - it doesn't even feel "warm".It took forever to dry my long hair and left it rather flat looking.

Exploded after 5 weeks
I bought this hair dryer 5 weeks ago. Wasnt very happy with it. It is not strong enough for long hairs. it took me over 20 minutes to dry my hair with it and you cant feel the effect of the ionic stuff. I have tried ionic hair dryers that worked much better. so even if it was workingIwas not happy.
Then it exploded this morning!!! It is still under the waranty but I have to pay for shipping + 4$ admin...

Depending on your use...
I bought this product primarily for straightening my hair (my hair is naturally just slightly wavy).I found that it did this very poorly.In fact, I purchased a new straightener within a week of this one.However, my friend bought the same item and used it for curling, waving, and some crimping.It does a good job of this, especially given the price.Overall, definitely a good product for the price, however, if your main use is going to be straightening I would recommend searching for a new product (I have found that a ceramic straightener by Ceramix has been a terrific investment).

Does the job!
I've experimented with most of the different heads on this thing and it's been good. I haven't burned anything yet..

Pros:

-Warming up is pretty fast. I give it about a minute.

-Curling/Waving/Crimping comes out beautifully!

-Heat is fairly good. Doesn't leave even the tiniest amount of hair fried.

-6-Foot cord is a DREAM.

-The stands on the iron heads makes easy to just put it anywhere without fear of it burning something.

Cons:

-You get what you pay for. It looks really cheap. The metal-looking thing on the actual iron is just metallic foil.

-No heat settings. There's only an "On/Off."

-Changing heads while in use is pretty difficult. You got to try and yank it out without burning your fingers. However, there is a plastic area on top that you can hold onto.

-"Red Indicator" is just a lil red dot on mine. It doesn't light up/glow/anything!
