Couldn't work without them
I have been using handeze gloves for 6-7 years. I have tendonitis and I also have a job that requires me to work at the computer all day. I would not be able to type for more than a few minutes if it were not for these gloves. These gloves do not restrict movement like so many of the other gloves on the market, so they are much more comfortable to wear for long periods of time, they are most comfortable when worn inside out however because of the seams.

This does not work for tendonitis.
The folks who use this item does not have tendonitis. It is no more help than wear a pair of underware on my hands. The other splints I have worn are so cumbersome, I thought these would be more comfortable. More comfortable, but no support and no help for my thumbs.

handeze really works!
I've been using these gloves for about 5 years and I can't go without them!I work all day at the computer, and my fingers start getting a little tingly/painful after 20 minutes if i don't use the handeze.With the gloves, though, i can go all day.I guess they improve the circulation a lot.I've never used any other brand, so I can't compare, but I highly recommend handeze.

Use a keyboard or play video games?Then you need these!
I have tendonitis in both hands (been tested for CT, negative so far), and I spend a lot a time on the keyboard-either at work, or on the PC at home.I also play a lot of video games.Before I found these gloves, I would be in constant discomfort doing any of the above.I had those stiff braces that they give everyone with hand problems, but I found them too bulky and stiff for everyday use.I tried these a pair of the Handeze on a whim, and it was almost unreal-my discomfort effectively vanished.I was able to type at work and play games at home for extended periods.Now they're not a panacea-I still use a wristpad on my keyboard & mouse and I exercise my hands for short breaks-but they do work as advertised.Since they leave my fingers and thumbs uncovered, I have no problems holding game controllers and joysticks.A pair of these last me about four to five months on average-I'm on my fifth pair and I've been using this product for two years now.I also have several co-workers that started using them after I introduced them to the gloves.Whaddaya have to lose? ... My husband ordered one of these for me as a gift.It says nothing in the description about being filled with lavender, but when it arrived, you could definitely tell it was!As I am very scent sensitive, it had to be returned.So, if you are sensitive to perfumes and scents, do not buy this product!

When I received the tissues I thought, ""Why did you do this? The weather is great and you don't need these."" But 24 hours later I had an awful cold. The menthol, although too strong when I'm healthy, was great at clearing my stuffy nose. They're soft too, so my nose wasn't bright red all the time. Since I live in a suburb outside of Buffalo, New York, I'm sure these will come in very handy during our cold winter months. I'll definitely purchase this product when I'm sick.

When I have a cold, my eyes get very watery; using these tissues for whatever small, temporary positive effect the menthol might have on my breathing would mean keeping a second box of tissues at hand to dab my eyes. This device seems to help alleviate pain during exercise. Typical of neoprene appliances, it stretched somewhat; this leads to the velcro overlapping such that not all surfaces contacted for full hold, but it still stays on. Perhaps ordering a size smaller than is recommended might compensate for this. I noticed while hiking in territory with lots of debris at knee level that it tended to get undone and pull off; might require a wrap of some type over it. NOT one size fits all
I have used gloves of this type for years in one way or another.As a rule, the "one size fits all" is pretty true as long as your hands arent on the extreme ends of the size range.

I am a man with good sized hands and have not had problems with "one size fits all" gloves in the past.I might tear one now and then trying to put them on but I figure that's acceptable.I could not even come close to getting either of my hands into one of these gloves.I obliterated a dozen or so gloves before I finally gave up.

I never got the chance to actually use the gloves, as I could never get either hand into one of them.So my one-out-of-five-star rating is simply for the reason that they should not be sold as "one size fits all".

Feels as if you're wearing nothing...
These gloves have no annoying powder residue, and are comfortable to wear, though a little tight to get on. I mainly got them to wear while doing taks like cleaning out drains and such, and they keep my hands completely protected, but it also feels as if I'm wearing nothing at all, so I still get that slimy feeling, or whatever texture I'm touching.

That said, great gloves, and would easily purchase them again.

I can't tell you how happy I was when these finally hit the market. Traditional condoms (even magnums) had left me a virgin till I was 20 for fear of un-protected sex. Better than the last humidifer I bought.
I use this to humidify an enclosed, closet sized, habitat for my Giant Green Iguana.I keep humidity in the upper part of the habitat at 60-70%.This thing operates continuously (cycling on and off) for months a time, probably over a year at this point.I do have to soak the water tray and element in vinegar once a week or even more often to keep the scale down, but I've also let it go for a month w/out de-scaling and it works fine also.

The only problem I've had with this unit is the lower, outer tray cracked or seperated somehow and I got water from condensation leaking out.Since my habitat is waterproof this isn't an issue, and despite the unit being under warranty I just used RTV sealant to fix the leak.The environment I'm using this in is sort of extreme duty so I wouldn't hold this against the unit (much).

I prefer this unit to others that have LCD displays.The display s go bad on me sometimes due to humidity, as do the push buttons.The rotary switches on this unit are reliable, and after some fiddling you can get whatever level of humidity you want.

If the one I have dies and the warranty expired I would probably buy another.

Worked well while it worked

- Very quiet, at first (more on that later)

The bad
- Steam comes out at a low rate, even at the high setting
- Needs frequent cleaning due to scale, especially on difficult to clean heating element

The very ugly
- After 3 months of use has become very noisy, to the point that we are rarely using it.Quality control is not what it needs to be.

does the job
This humidifier is great.I've had it about 6 months-I do have hard water, which makes it a pain to clean, but I don't do it very often and it works fine.The only thing is you can't clean the main part b/c it's hooked up to the electrical, and for me that has the most buildup.But it still works wonderfully and for the price I think it's a good buy.I use it almost every night, and on low fill it every 2 nights.

I live in the country and have mildly hard water, so I bought this humidifier under the assumption that it would work fine with regular cleanup. WRONG! If I want to use it, I have to do extensive cleanup every 12 hours. I even tried using a lime and scale deterrent additive, which didn't help at all. The humidifier may work okay if you don't have hard water, but I can't use it anymore.

WHY DIDN'T IT LAST LONGER?
I still have a 21 year old 12X12 old GE heating pad I'm using again now since my NEW (received March 16, 2004) wonderfully large more versatile TheraP King Heating Pad suddenly ceased to work a couple of months ago. Giving it a rest I thought might help but now I'm convinced it's finished. The buttons light up and the AUTO SHUT-OFF goes off on time but no heat. As an elderly neck and shoulder arthritis sufferer, the AUTO-SHUT-OFF was great because it enabled me to get to sleep while the heat was still decreasing the pain. I notice other reviewers have made reference to the short life of the AUTO SHUT-OFF pads. I can't help but wonder if it would be such an insurmontable feat for the companies to somehow extend the life of this product. I certainly wouldn't think they would figure to sell more if the Heating Pads wear out faster?

Unreliable product
I have bought two of this model and neither one of them lasted very long at all, with normal and appropriate use. They both eventually stopped working completely, but before that, they became very unreliable. The buttons would light up and the lights would "run" up and down the control pad crazily! Then it would stop completely, or it would stay on and not turn off when the 'off' button was pressed; or the different heat settings didn't work and would only stay on "high"/hottest. Sometimes it would just turn on all by itself with no one even near it! These were not even used very much. When they worked, they were very comfy. They just didn't work very well or very long. VERY, VERY disappointing.

I hoped this would be well designed and reliable. It died very soon after I got it. Pay more, get less value.. this might be an exception to the normal quality of Home Medics but I will never trust their products again. What are the odds of me receiving something that passed quality control but didn't survive one month after?

Great table warmer and a GREAT price!
I have researched the internet and all over Ebay for table warmers and this one, by far, was the least expensive. The free shipping that Amazon offers makes a big difference in me ordering my items from here, also. For the money, ($28.99)I think this table warmer is GREAT. It covers the entire length of my massage table and stays on the table nicely with elastic straps. It has different temp settings. It heats up well and it heats up fast. I will always have sheets, etc over my table warmer and the client's skin never touches the actual warmer so there isn't a real need to wash them. This table warmer is definitely highly recommended.

Use a twin pad instead!
The thing about this table warmer is that there is no way to wash it!The cord is permanently attached and, unlike bedding electricial mattress pad, it cannot be detached and thrown into the washing maching.
