Creamy Consistency & Effective Ingredients
I've recently rediscovered "salicylic acid" in various forms. If you have sensitive skin you probably are aware of how harsh salicylic acid can be, so use with caution.

"If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day."

This product is quite handy because you can apply the product before you go to sleep and not wake up with strange looking acne medication on your face. The container is smaller than lipstick and is a beautiful sapphire color.

This product can also be worn under makeup and is very convenient to use. The smooth creamy consistency softly blends into skin and hides blemishes without clogging your pores.

Summer glow!
I remember buying the original Indian Earth product from the Broadway Dept. store back in the 70's....I was thrilled when I found out that it was still around.I think the clay pot looks a little different than I remember, but the applicator puff and the powder itself remains the same.Used sparingly, it continues to give you a nice summer glow.I have used it on my lips, eyes for shadow and even to my nails under a clear top coat!(dab a damp q-tip on the cork and rub over nails for a very natural color).My teen daughter loves Indian Earth also! ... HOW FIRM A FOUNDATION?
How firm a foundation?The answer in regard to this pancake makeup is too firm.

It reminds me of the makeup, although I can't remember the brand, that we used in our local little theaater group.But, these people were going on stage.

Did I hear shine control?
I never cared much about shine control or skin care until I started noticing that in many of my pictures I was a complete greaseball. I bought the Clean & Clear shine control powder because my friend uses it too.

After a few uses, I could immediately see the difference, especially in the pictures of me! In all of them my face appeared clean and SHINE FREE! I could also tell because whenever I use my oil blotting sheets from The Body Shop, there is visibly less oil on the paper.

The blue powder helps to reduce redness of the skin (which I really need) and of course, reduce shine. It will not ruin makeup. A few people who have used this product complain that it makes their face look too ghostlike, but this has not happened to me perhaps because I am already a very pale person.So if you have darker skin, you may want to consider something else if your skin begins to appear lighter than you'd like. But it varies from person to person, so it doesn't hurt to try!

To achieve maximum shine control, I recommend washing your face twice a day and keeping this powder in your purse or pocket in addition to oil absorbing blotting papers (Clean & Clear or the Body Shop has good ones!). A very smooth and sheer tinted moisturizer
I have used this tinted moisturizer for over 10 years.I love it. For a great natural look, this is all you need along with a little blush and some mascara and lip gloss.It evens out your skin tone beautifully and is great for covering blemishes.One tube lasts me at least 2 months.I wouldn't buy anything else.

Terrific sheer, tinted moisturizer...
PROS: Long-lasting. Waterproof. Lightweight. Hypo-allergenic. Non-comedogenic. Fragrance free.

CONS: Packaging is portable, however it becomes hard to get out when about 1/2 full. Only 3 shades (light, medium & dark), but they are neutral, sheer and very blendable. Only SPF 6.

First of all, the important thing to remember is that this is a *tinted moisturizer*. While it's still makeup, it's not meant to give full (or even medium) foundation-like coverage... you shoudn't expect this to completely disguise blemishes or freckles. It probably won't, but it will even skin tone. That said, the color selection is very limited, but, for most, I don't think that would be too much of a problem. The light shade looks dark and beige in the tube, but blends wonderfully and looks natural on my light, warm-toned skin. You should be safe as long as you don't go to the opposite end of the spectrum when choosing your shade. An SPF of at least 15 would be nice, but I suppose some is better than none, and I'm used to applying sunscreen anyway. It's very lightweight and feels natural, non-greasy and moisturizes sufficiently. It leaves a finish somewhere halfway between dewy and matte, making it look just like bare, healthy skin. It's waterproof, lasts for a very long time (though I can't attest to how it stands up during heavy activity) and washes off easily with a cleanser or makeup remover.

This is a very light and sheer foundation. I liked the way it went on my skin, and especially liked the fact that I didn't need to use a daytime moisturizer. While the color looked a little darker in the tube than what I normally use, it looked fine on my face -- mostly because of the sheerness. This compares to the Clinique's Workout makeup, just a little lighter coverage. It lasts all day, feels great, and makes you look like you're not wearing anything.

there's a reason why its non-refundable
This item sux!! It is VERY thick; I tried applying it with a make-up sponge but it ended up tearing.And it takes awhile trying to mix and match the colors to find the right shade for your skin tone, it's not as easy as you think. No wonder it's non-refundable. I do not recommend this product.
