Cheap Trick on Women
While I really like the product, I resent the fact that they try to cheat us with this ridiculous trick. They must think all women are not very bright, and don't realize that the wide golden band at the bottom of the bottle just covers up the fact that the applicator does not reach past the golden band, while there is still plenty of the product left.
They thought we wouldn't notice and think the product was empty when it was not. Don't they make enough profit on that little bottle already?

Not for cold sores!
Although the pot of Carmex states in large lettering, "For Cold Sores", it most definitely is not!Carmex works wonders for chapped lips, but don't waste your money if you need cold sore relief.If anything, it keeps them from drying up and prolongs the agony.

Love that pot o' Carmex!
I buy Carmex in the pot, stick and tube form. It's an excellent lip balm. Perfect to lubricate dry lips and according to the package it also heals cold sores.

The pot Carmex has a firmer consistency than the tube, but is easily applied. I think the tube is more hygenic, however, because only a small quantity touches your finger at one time. With the pot you are running your finger over the entire surface. So though I love the product, for sanitary reasons I have to deduct one star.

Carmex has a tingling sensation when you put it on that lasts for quite a while. As I mentioned in my review of the tube, I like to use Carmex when I feel like diving into cookies. Instead I just dab a bit of Carmex on my lips for a little to no calorie splurge.

It tingles, moisturizers, heals, feels good, has a nice glossy look - what more could you want for a couple bucks! A good buy!

Great for chapped lips and more
Carmex is a little miracle in a jar product.I started using this product because my best friend used it as her lip gloss.I soon became a believer.After a horrible case of cracked and dry chapped lips I applied Carmex very heavily before bed.The next morning they were greatly improved.I'm not saying they were healed, but they weren't dry and were already in the healing process.

Since then I have discovered many used for it.It works for moisturizing cuticles, dry elbows and feet.I have this by my bed, in my purse/car/change purse/backpack.

the best Chapstick flavor
All of the other Chapstick flavors are really weird and waxy and you have to get used to them, but this one tastes good from the very first use. Vanilla mint is hard to find though. Sometimes Wal-Mart sells them. If you can find it, stock up. It will probably be a while until you see it again.

I love Medicated Chap Stick, I have one everywhere! When I saw this ad of 24 for $29.99, I figured it's a great price! But when I ordered, only one tube was shipped and amazon swears that is correct, ONE tube costs $29.99. Ridiculous! So the product is awesome, but don't buy here.

i LOVE strawberry chapstick!!!!
Strawberry Chapstick is THE BEST chapstick (generically speaking) out on the market. It is the ONE chapstick I use regularly (which is all the time), my FAVORITE. What's so great about it is-- the scent & the pretty color it adds to my lips. It is far better than the cherry flavor, but is a lot harder to find in the stores. For some odd reason, the stores choose to carry the cherry over the strawberry--they obviously haven't tried the strawberry yet. i love it i love it i love it!!!

Mint is the way to go!

The Best Lip Balm Around!!
I just love Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm!It soothes your lips because of the peppermint, and it tingles in your lips.I have used, and tried so many lip balms out there, and this one is for keeps! You just have to try to believe it, and once you tried it, there is no going back.

It sinks in pretty quickly and makes your lips soft; with regular use, you no longer have chapped lips! :) I was originally going to get the Lifeguard's Choice one, since I spend a lot of time in the sun, but it seems that it turns your lips white, due to the sunblock. BTW, this stuff is slightly harder than the balm in the tube, but carrying it in your pocket instead of purse (like I do) makes it soft and easier to use. Also, if you are like me and pretty much only use this site to see the reviews on items you want to get from the store yourself, this costs about $2.50.

In Love with a Lip Balm

The Best
This lipstick is the best I have ever used and I tried many... much more expensive brands.A friend gave me a tube one day and told me to try it.I was amazed and even more so when I saw the price!!!
It lasts and lasts and keeps my lips moist... none of that burning as with other long lasting lipsticks.Also, it wears off naturally and does not leave lines.I do find that it works best for people who like cool tones. My friend who wears brown lipstick did not like it.Hope this helps.
