Excellent Wear
This lip color is EXTREMELY long lasting but because of the shea butter gloss that you apply on top, it does not dry out my lips. Actually, my lips look and feel so much better since I began using this product over a year ago. There is also a complete line of head-to-toe skin care and incredible all-day makeup available from SeneGence. I use the entire line of makeup and skin care and you would not believe the changes my skin has gone through. I no longer have oily and broken-out skin. I am not afraid of going out in public without makeup on because my skin is evenly toned and radiant. I can not say enough about this line...just that I wish more people knew about it. :) ... Very useful and nostalgic

As a child, I often had dry, cracked lips that would split and bleed.I told you this would be gory.I tried several things, none of which helped much.Chapstick was the one thing that did make the condition lessen, even though the tip of the Chapstick occasionally came away bloody (again, I did warn you!).It did not cure the condition, but it certainly lessened the problem.They used to have a grape flavor, but it tasted so good that I would scrape it off with my teeth, which was probably not good for my bloody (there I go again!) lips.The unflavored is therefore best, I do believe.

Still the best chapstick
Of all the varieties of Chapsticks I've tried, I think the original Chapstick (in these black tubes) is the best.It doesn't taste weird, doesn't smell, doesn't make you feel there's something greasy or weird on your lips, and just works in all weather conditions (esp. great for wintry days).And they are inexpensive to boot.Because my sensual lips do have a natural tendency to be dry, I use Chapstick all the time, and keep one tube at every location that I frequent.I feel like a squirrel sometimes, burying their loot everywhere; but I don't have as good a memory as the little cute animals, who can, amazingly, remember as many as 2000-3000 individual locations where they bury the nuts!Anyway, my point is, these regular Chapsticks are cheap and great. ... My least favorite Burt's Bees product
Not very moisterizing and doesn't taste good at all. After awhile it doesn't smell very good either. But I love all the other products I've tried.

Perfect Except for Flavor
I bought all three flavors of this lip gloss on a whim one day. Although the small box the lip gloss comes packaged in claims the gloss is "flavored," it isn't. It tastes like beeswax and that's it.

Aside from the lack of flavor, I love these lip glosses. They add a nice glow to my lips, they double as a powerful balm for chapped lips,and they smell wonderful. The little glass container and tin lid are very well well made. I would have to say the Lemon Lime is the variety to get if you're looking for something strongly scented. However, my personal favorite is the raspberry because it's an unusual, very sweet scent.

If you don't mind your lip gloss tasting like beeswax, I highly recommend buying all three varieties. You won't be disappointed.

Moisture Treat for Your Lips
Burt's Bees Lip Gloss has a natural finish. It is not super glossy, but does add a healthy moisturizing sheen when applied to natural lips. I think it has the scent of cherry almond and I can't really detect any noticeable cherry flavor. This product is also unsweetened.

Ingredients: Grapeseed oil, coconut oil, beeswax, lanolin, cocoa butter, natural cherry flavor, tocopheryl acetate and tocopherol (vitamin E), rosemary extract.

I like this product, but could see it being even more enjoyable to use with a slightly stronger cherry flavor and scent.

I'm using it like chapstick...
A little bit goes a long way! At purchase time, $6.00 or whatever I paid seems like a lot but I bet it'll last me 6 months. Good Stuff for Dry Lips!
I get really dry lips from extreme weather, so bad that it makes my lips look very ugly and scaley and I also sometimes get a painful spilt in the middle of my upper and bottom lips that sometimes bleeds a little and I find that this Blistex stuff is the only lip stuff I can use that works on getting my lips to look good and not all ugly. This medicated lip stuff stings my lips a little and the medicated smell can be a little strong but it isn't too bad and I like how nice my lips look after using this and I would use it again!

Cheap Trick on Women
While I really like the product, I resent the fact that they try to cheat us with this ridiculous trick. They must think all women are not very bright, and don't realize that the wide golden band at the bottom of the bottle just covers up the fact that the applicator does not reach past the golden band, while there is still plenty of the product left.
They thought we wouldn't notice and think the product was empty when it was not. Don't they make enough profit on that little bottle already?
