No Heat Neck Massager
Just as Cynthia Fuben complained in her review, this neck massager produces no heat.The subtle vibration is pleasant but will not relax the tensed neck muscles without heat.Nice ad but poor performance.I suggest you look for a product that actually provides the elements that are advertised on the box.There are products in the marketplace that actually do what they claim, so I am going to return this product and find one that actually produces heat AND has a real vibrating mechanism in it.BEWARE THE WORD "GENTLE VIBRATION" !!!

What a Relief
First off I would like to say that this was not intended for me.I bought this for my grandmother for Christmas.All I have been hearing from her is that this is by far the best present she has received.At first I was surprised when she mentioned how it helped her stiff neck and back loosen up and relax.So I decided to try it myself.My middle back has always been a pain the..., but it really worked.The massaging motors really hit the spot.It also has a remote with time setting which is just awesome.Set time and relax.I've seen how a few other comments say that it smells.It's the smell of something new.Perhaps they bought it used and unwashed.I have nothing bad to say about this product.Two thumbs up.Oh yeah and five stars.

very smelly indeed
I had read the first review, but went ahead and ordered it anyway as this was the exact model my wife asked for.
first i ordered it on 12-21 with the next day air option to ensure delivery by 12-23. fat chance! i received it 12-27 a full week after ordering. when it didnt arrive on 12-24 i went to wally world (walmart) and picked up a $39 massager which had several motors for the upper back shoulders (total 9 ) just to have something under the tree. upon arrival of the homedics, not only did it smell very bad, which was understated by the previous review, but was uncomfortable especially the neck part. (which was the reason for choosing this model) and was underpowered compared to the $39 model at walmart.
we have a homedics hand massager which we love, i guess this is one time the higher priced item was NOT better.
the control unit was also a better quality than that of the homedics unit.
we returned the homedics and can not recommend it.

Smelly vibrating mat
I bought this item thinking it was similar to another massage product from Homedics [Homedics® TherapistSelect™ Shiatsu Massaging Cushion With Moving Massage Mechanism (Model # SBM-200)]. I should have read the packaging more closely because this item did not have any of the Shiatsu-like mechanisms.

The first thing I noticed about the product was that it smelled quite funny (kind of like glue). I noticed this was a complaint about the above mentioned item as well on other reviews. After plugging it in (with it's too-short power cord), I tried it out.The mat pretty much just vibrates with different intensities. The main feature is its neck massager. That pretty much just rolls around and it did not feel at all comfortable to both me and my wife.

On the good side, it does look nice and feels like reasonably good material.

However, for the price, I believe one can find something much better. Items like the Thera Cane would be more worth the money.

Stress Relief par Excellance!
I concur with the previous reviewer.

I also want to add that though I was initially not enthusiastic about using this massager, I discovered when I had jaw surgery two weeks ago (3 Feb 2004) this massage was one of the best ways to stimulate, relax and release blood flow from my neck and shoulders, where I usually store lots of tension.

Fibromyalgia sufferer
I too have fibromyalgia (FM) and my husband uses the HoMedics Massagers every night on the knots which build up due to the FM. Our massagers have not lasted the two years for which they are guaranteed.I am not sure they are meant for every day usage.This time I will have to try a professional model to see if it can withstand the usage.

Powerful enough. Wonderful. The heat didn't make a whole lot of difference for me.... neither did the multiple heads of the device. It was wonderful. It really got out some pretty good built up tension. The heads rotate and can get closer or farther appart. The speeds change. Each different setting getting a different set of muscles. Lovely

HoMedics PA-200H Therapist Select Deluxe
This massager really disappointed me.It's very hard to handle for more than a few minutes, as it's handle is not shaped well for hands.Worst of all, it is VERY heavy.I have large, strong hands, so I didn't expect that to be a problem.
It is also very loud. Maybe I can sell it!

Yes, this is the massager to get!The POWERFUL multi-level pulsation is nothing less then orgasmic. Add the heat control option (which actually heats up to a comfortable warm)and you're simply in heaven. I like that I'm in control and can direct it to where I need, when I need it -- anytime! This baby is the next best thing to having a real hands-on massage - it's the best!

Works great when new, wears out quickly
I use a percussive massager daily, on the order of two or three fifteen-minute sessions each and every day. I've had a number of massagers now. At least four Homedics. I stopped buying them. They simply will not stand up to that kind of duty cycle. Only one made it past four months before becoming so weak, it was more irritating than helpful. They work okay when new, unless you've tried real pro models.

The ones that work weigh a LOT more -- and last about two years. They're typically around a hundred dollars and you can buy them from catalogs that cater to upmarket gadgeteers, such as Sharper Image. When in doubt, ask the weight. Heavier ones last a LOT longer.

This is a good table for the price, but (as expected) you are losing out a bit on quality when buying a cheaper table.I would recommend it for students and for those just starting out.It is a little on the heavy side, so it is not very practical if you travel a lot with your table.The face rest cushion leaves much to be desired.It is very thin, about half the thickness of a typical face rest cushion.However, it is detachable with velcro on the underside, so it is possible to replace it with a thicker cushion. The face cradle is adjustable, which is nice, and the table is comfortable to lay on.I have mine covered in a fleece pad for a little extra cushion.The table is sturdy and seems to be decently constructed. A little loud for a 'relaxation spa' simulation
I bought this hoping it might take the place (marginally) of jets in our garden tub.It certainly is powerful and generates lots of activity in the water, but the air is a bit chilly and the pump itself is loud.I blame myself for not thinking enough about the noise level prior to the purchase (in hind site, it seems obvious).In any case, the kids get a kick out of it, so its getting used plenty!

Winter Wonderland
At first I was thrilled when my husband got me this for Christmas...he knows how much I like my baths!When I first turned it on I was quite pleased.The jets are very powerful and felt wonderful!However, I soon realized that the air being forced out felt colder and colder until it was really quite uncomfortable.

Also, the mat kind of "floats up" in spite of the suction cups and sticks against my skin in a way that I find annoying, especially considering that the surface feels cold due to the air being shot at you.

Altogether I am disappointed and sad that my present turned out this way.My husband is very disappointed too.

If you like to relax in baths, you'll love this!
After reading the reviews on this item, I almost took it off of my wish list.However, when I received this bath spa as a gift this Christmas, I really half expected the bath to suck, with "ice cold" bubbles and hurricane-force bubbles that would all but blow me out of the tub.But guess what?This spa was GREAT!!!I must have left it on for 30 minutes and it barely changed the temperature of my bath water.This is a great gift for anyone who loves to relax in the bath, and it is not any nosier than a regular spa.Enjoy!!

Good, but limited only to very small cars
I bought this for my husband to use in our Corolla.He loves the heat function and the dual massage is pretty good, the lower back works better than the upper.The only problem we found with this unit is the straps to hold it in place on the seat.They aren't long enough and the material won't stretch sufficiently to fit around the bucket seat of a Corolla!A Corolla is a midsize sedan what type of seat was this product designed to fit a VW bug?! There is no way we will ever be able to use it in our Expedition.Really bad design.

My husband has to just place it on the seat and adjust it which is not optimal since it can shift while you are driving.I got it on sale so I its worth the price I paid, but I wouldn't pay full price for it again.

WOW! way surpassed my expectations!
