Junk.Dead after 2 months.
The heater didn't work all that great to begin with, it was just warm on the soles of my feet, and now it's dead completely.

I used it for about 4 hrs a day, 5 days a week for about 2 months total.As another reviewer stated, the foot massager is worthless but I didn't buy it for that.

Hopefully Dr. Scholl's or Amazon will replace it but I can't find any contact info on Dr. Scholl's web page.

nice soft place to rest your sore tired feet.....
i just received my dr scholls foot massager yesterday and am very glad i purchased it. i asked for this item for christmas but hubby got the wrong kind. he got me one of those with heat and massage but has a hard surface top with bumps on it. i did try that one out but found it to be too hard for my feet. i suffer from several foot ailments and when im really hurting, i can barely touch them to hand massage them, much less place them on a hard surface. i returned that item and bought this one instead and im so glad i did! its SO soft and warm.

you can turn on just the heat, or just the massage, or both, or neither! if youre looking for a soft pillow for your feet that can massage them and warm them or just give the a soft place to rest, then you should buy this product!

the one thing that it doesnt do is allow you to control the massage speed. it alternates from a high to low speed automatically but theres no manual control to do that yourself.

one good note to point out, the cover on this comes off so it can be washed. thats not mentioned in the description and was one thing i was hesitant about when trying to decide.

pretty good
I think this product is good if you know you're getting a small bubble machine, not a personal foot massage.The bubbles aren't super strong and the "infrared light" doesn't put out heat.The spinners are kind of weird on your feet, not necessarily comforting but not bad either.But, for the price, and if you add some nice smelling lotion or conditioner to the water, I think the product is worth it if you intend to use it.

It's Wonderful!!!
It is great. I liked it so much I got my mother in-law one for Christmas, she loves it. The remote is great it makes it so easy to really relax and kick back (not literally). The bubbles are strong and with the vibration it really sooths my tierd, stressed feet. My feet are softer then they have been in years, thanks to the little added feature of the spinners, they really work through rough dry skin. So lotion can really do it's job after my feet have spent 10mins in this baby. I love it, and really look forward to soaking my feet in it after a long day.

Dangerous Item
The 2nd time I used this the controls stopped working and it wouldn't shut off. It started smelling like burnt electrical components and I had to unplug it from the wall.

OMG...i'm ticked.I had this footbath before this...very nice, much less features.It was a Dr. Scholls.So after about 3 years, the bubbles stopped working.So I thought I'd upgrade to a nicer one.I like to give myself pedicures at home.And I find these things relaxing.

SOO..THE VERY FIRST TIME I USE THIS THING IT BREAKS.Seriously, I added water to it (no fill line indicator so I made it reasonably deep) turn on the heat and bubbles, stick in one foot..and the next thing I know...KABLOOEY...everything starts working at once.None of the buttons on the remote control or touchpad would operate.Had to unplug it to shut the nutty thing off.Husband thought it was funny since he wanted me to buy the cheaper one...but I was TICKED!

This thing is about as robust as my Aunt Agnes trick hip.

Ooooh, Ahhh...If it only came with someone to massage you...
The HoMedics PA2H Deluxe Personal Massager is a pretty useful tool around the home, and a great gift for someone who could use a little "ah" in there life.

The PA2H is very similar to the device my chiropractor had as well as the family naturopath.The PA2H has some handy little features like the different density massaging heads including heads for heat massage.Another nice feature is the alternating pulses that it can provide.Some of us more "delicate" creatures might not be able to withstand some of the more intense pulses.

Ok, disadvantages.... It takes a little getting use to 7 buttons.First you turn on the power, then you touch the "massage" button...then you need to touch the "up-arrow" to actually activate the massage.... I've had to hit 3 buttons just to get the PA2H on... For those folks raring to go, 3 buttons to turn it on is 2 buttons too many.

As for the massage itself, it's great!Great, even pressure and not too noisy (that's one thing I always look for in a back massager).Unless you're a contortionist, be sure to have some handy to give you the massage.Afterwards, you'll feel like a million dollars!Just wait for the "ah"...

If you are the type to enjoy a relaxing massage and are hard pressed to find a partner to give you the real deal, then this may be the right machine for you. It also can help a person who gives massage relieve his fingers and warm up the recepient.
Myself and my lady have both enjoyed this machine very much and find the different settings most rewarding, it has several settings that would seem harsh to some and good to others depending on your level of pain.
It has a several very distinct patterns that get down into your muscels and soothe them. The Heat mode is good and does warm the skin, but I would have liked it a bit hotter.
The only drawback I have found is when giving a massage with this machine one must watch the wing bones and other hard protruding bones as it will bounce and be somewhat annoying, as with any other massage unit one must watch his/her hair as it is a machine and can grab it. Personaly we have not experienced this and have used it extensively.
Overall I rate this machine as a must have for people looking for a serious massage and/or pain reliever. Enjoy

This unit is really nice. I just wish it came with someone to hold it. My wife is patient enough to do it for only a few minutes (and then expects reciprocation). I came up with a neat way to wedge it between my back and any chair. This is quite nice. The only problem is that I actually burned my back with the heat attachment! Only suggestion there is to wear a shirt when using the heat attachment :-)

Poor Performer
This unit seemed great, until my wife tried to use it. We followed the directions and let the wax heat for 90 minutes to fully melt. It uses an on/off heating method that isn't controllable and the wax would melt about 85% then begin to harden again. The cycle continued this way never reaching a fully melted state. We ended up melting the wax in an old pan and keeping an eye on the temperature with a thermometer. Until this unit is upgraded with a better heating element/thermostat and better timing controls don't buy it. It fails in the single aspect required of a paraffin bath---to melt the wax! ...
