Great for office or home, this cushion straps onto a chair and then provides various massages to various areas of the back while two large nodes knead the neck. Massaging and kneading are controlled separately--two speeds for each--by a control wand with a backlit LCD screen. The kneading nodes, which are covered by a stretch fabric, extend out 3-1/2 inches and are about the diameter of golf balls. They work in a circular motion, either clockwise (up and down), counterclockwise (down and up), or alternately, and firmly massage the neck muscles all the way down to the shoulders. For people of different heights, the nodes can be adjusted vertically by turning a knob atop the cushion.

Disappointing
The description of this massager is a bit misleading.

The 6 motors in the back portion cover 6 rather small areas (more like being hit with small mallets than the sides of hands) and the only motion from side to side or up to down refers to the sequence that the motors thump. There is quite a bit of adjustment to the strength and character of the thumps, but I found the effect neither therapeutic nor relaxing, just curious.

I could get the kneading to cover the upper part of my neck or the lower part by turning the control knob, but for someone taller or shorter, the coverage would be limited. The speed control for the kneading doesn't really change the speed that much. The neck kneading nodes are made of rather hard plastic, and in my case they seemed too narrow apart (and there is no adjustment for width), so after just a few minutes it was more painful than relaxing.Then it started squeaking intermittently.

Within an hour of receiving the massager I decided to return it.
