5-0 out of 5 stars ONE GREAT MOTHER'S DAY GIFT
I got this massager for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and I didn't know what to expect as she had been complaining about her tired feet after a long day at work. She said it worked so well that my sister-in-law used it the following day!She LOVED IT and said it was a great gift.I will be heading over to pick one up for myself! Now this is definitely the gift that keeps on giving!Talk about some happy feets =)

5-0 out of 5 stars MY FEET ARE IN LOVE!
I have always had a lot of "stress" in my feet.Massaging them myself never seemed to do the trick but it was better than nothing.I also had the misfortune of having EXTREMELY TICKLISH FEET.So, looking for someone or something to massage my feet was not top priority.I happened to come across this massager on Amazon.I had seen other "massagers" but they never peaked my interest. This one seemed different so I read the reviews. One mentioned that if your feet are "sensitive" you can wear socks.Well, that sort of scared me as my feet are ULTRA sensitive.I decided to give it a try.BOY AM I GLAD I TRIED THIS.

When the package arrived I was SURPRISED ABOUT HOW LIGHT WEIGHT THE MASSAGER WAS.Very convenient to store right under the couch so it will be used rather than end up at a garage sale.

Then I plugged it in, turned it on and waited a little for it to heat up (more like warm up).I took off my socks and put one foot on.OH MY GOODNESS did it tickle. So I put on my socks.Still a little ticklish but I found spots that did not tickle.Best are is the "pad" right under the big toe.

The metal beads went to work. You (or at least I) could hear all the pent up tension (gristle) being worked out.It felt so good. Then I tempted fate and I repositioned my feet. And, much to my surprise, my feet felt soooooo good that they were no longer ticklish!Off came the socks!

It was hard to tear myself away from this new "toy".Next thing I knew it had been almost an hour!My feet felt sooo good. This will definitely be a nightly routine.

As for the heat, it does not get "hot" but does provide warmth which is good when you use the machine without socks. The warmth also makes it less "ticklish" I believe.

So, as I was putting my new favorite machine away, a thought came to me . . .another area of much pent up stress is the hands.I always massage my hands but again, it is never the same when you do it yourself. So, I plugged the machine back in and thought I would see how it did on my hands.WONDERFUL!I had a "knot" in the base of my hand the machine worked right out.Again, because the machine is so light weight, I just placed it on my lap, sat on the couch and applied my hands.(Be careful not to apply too much force as that tension of applying pressure negates the effect of the massage and also I did notice that if the weight was applied unevenly it did seem to "wear" on the massager.)

This is yet another Homedics product I am VERY PLEASED WITH!No regrets here at all.I love the style of the "leather" and the fact it is so light weight. It makes it convenient and not bulky (very important to someone with very limited space).I love the effects, seems different from any other machine I have seen. And, for those of you with ticklish feet, your feet will be sooo happy they will forget they are ticklish.I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS MASSAGER!

5-0 out of 5 stars My family is fighting over it!!
I was given this massager as a gift last week and I need to fight my family for time on it.It takes a few minutes for the heat to get "hot", but I am happy to wait for it while my feet are being massaged.I also have a Foot Spa with the bubbles and water and I much prefer this item because it gives a deeper massage, I don't have to fuss with the water and it takes up a lot less space. It is especially worth it for those of us who have sore feet on a regular basis. It is the best product that I have used for my sore feet.I do not recommend it for those with overly sensitive feet or for someone who just wants a vibration and that tingly feeling.

5-0 out of 5 stars I'm in heaven!
I bought this product because it had so many good reviews and it definintely lives up to its reputation! It actually works so much better than I thought it ever could! This has got to be one of the best products I've purchased in a long time. For someone who spends long days on their feet, this massager is great to come home to!

5-0 out of 5 stars Mother Likes It
I ordered this for my mom and she really likes it!She wanted it for Christmas but she had to wait until Valentine's Day and I guess it was worth the wait.
Amazon shipped it very quickly and mom said it was a great gift so there you go! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Cheap product...beware!!
I used this product for about 2 1/2 months before it crapped out.Now it won't even turn on.I'll admit though it was nice to have under the desk while I worked but now it is a worthless piece of plastic. The heat function is nothing great either.Just a bunch of red LED lights for all I can tell.

If you want to buy a foot massager, it might be worth spending an extra 10 or 20 bucks.Although the HoMedics one when it works, isn't bad for the price...it's really a cheap product and will not last.

5-0 out of 5 stars Oh this is good!
I recently decided to indulge myself a little bit.Hey I'm 42 and have been raisng my kids, (and husband) diligently for a long time now.So on my birthday I slurged a bit on Amazon.I bought(and am highly recommending all of these): this amazing foot massager- heaven, singing lessons on CD- Voice Lessons To Go by Vaccarino because I was just tired of hiding my voice when we all would sing in the car, The Artist Way by Cameron so I could feel some sort of creativity for myself again, and the New Sex Now video (well that was for me and my husband).Well, happy happy. We should all splurge on ourselves just a bit sometimes.Aren't we worth it?

4-0 out of 5 stars Ho-Medic-tastic.
This is a great massager.

There's nothing I like better than lounging around and getting a foot massage from my ho-medic while eating a nice ho-made sandwich.

3-0 out of 5 stars I'd rather stick my feet in a hot bucket of Jello
For the price, this product isn't too bad, but don't expect too much from it.The "massage" basically amounts to it vibrating a lot, which can feel somewhat nice, but not as much as I had expected. The unit also doesn't put off much heat at all.You can get more heat from sticking your feet near a light bulb.

However, being able to control the product with my toes was fairly nice, and I do use it occasionally.I just don't think it should have been labeled as a"Pro Ultra."There's nothing really "ultra" about it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good product for the money
My husband bought me this massager for my birthday.I'm an elementary school teacher, and my feet are always tired and sore.

In response to a few other reviews here, I must admit that the machine doesn't heat as much as I'd like, and the cord is about a foot too short, but I really do consider this a good value for the price.

The foot pad area is large enough to accommodate feet even bigger than mine (!), and the massager, especially when set on high, hits all the right sopt, just on the bottom of the arch, and that sore spot beneath the toes. After a good 15 minutes of "regular" massage, I like to curl my toes under or contort my feet sideways, to get even more coverage!

No, this isn't a miracle cure for tired feet. But it's a nice, relaxing end to a hard day.I recommend this product to anyone with realistic expectations of its benefits, but who still is willing to take a chance on a nice, relaxing product. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars I'm a girl who NEEDS mechanical foot attention.
I am always begging my boyfriend for a footrub.
I have a great, pedicure place that makes my crazy nail creations last for weeks. I just need a relaxing soak in between.
We're renovating the house. It takes so long to clean the tub for a luke-warm, shallow soak that I consider hosing myself off in the backyard instead.

So I was searching for a little help. And I got it. This is a pretty good little footbath, except a few things. The little rotating massager is in a bad place - there's nowhere to comfortably put your foot to use it. And the pumice stone goes so fast I was scared I'd sharpen my foot like a pencil. That thing burns. I have NO IDEA what the infrared thing is supposed to do.The jets are functional, but don't really expect a massage. The water heater works. The heater is really uneven - you feel it when it kicks on, then coooooool...then hot!

But, the water does get decently warm, and that's good. Easy to carry back and forth to the bathroom. Easy to dump the water. The little rotating pieces are neatly tucked in a storage space. The bottom nubby things are nice to grind your feet along for a sorta massage-y feeling. The water gurgles pleasantly. The dogs really, really, really enjoy getting a few sips out of the thing.

So it's a nice between the pedicure, home renovation stop-gap measure that still doesn't get my boyfriend off the hook for foot massages.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great buy
HoMedics Spa ultra
I used it last night for two hours. It really helped with my heal spars.
You have control so you can turn it off and on when you want.
It was just what I was looking for. It warms up the water and keeps it very hot not warm. It's jets are really powerfull and feel great. I was told in the store that this has the best jets and they were right. It also has a pedicure section that is hand free.
My husband used it too and he is at size 13 foot. He loved it as well.
The laser red part was perfect for my sore heals. It applies heat directly on your heal, but you have let it heat up first for 10-15 min.
All in all I was very happy with my buy. It was more then the others, but worth the money. At least I have something to relive the pain for a while and my feet are back to normal.Don't waste your money on anything else. This product is great.

4-0 out of 5 stars I'm happy with it but there could be some changes
I just recieved my foot spa today and I'm sitting here using it now.My feet are toasty and feeling very pampered right now but there are a few flaws that I have found already.I wanted to really test the foot spa since it said it heats cold water up in 5 mins.I used cold water and it was heated up in 10 mins, so I'm not complaining. But I can't tell what the infared heat is supposed to do for your feet.I don't feel anything from it when I place my foot on the infared area (red area) which is what you are told to do in the manual.I also can't tell the difference in the water jets and the bubble jets.I have tried changing them a few times and they both feel the same to me.

When your water starts to cool off, just turn back on the heater (you have to have the jets on to heat the water up).Right above the infared area (red area that lights up) there is a nozzle for your attachments. When you put an attachment on and press down on it with your foot, it will spin very fast.It actually tickles on the sole of your feet. And right above the nozzle, in the purple area, there is a little cubby hole to put your attachments in.There are convenient pour spots along the top of the unit as well, so you don't have to worry about spilling it all over the place.

Overall, I give it a B+ and my feet are happy!

4-0 out of 5 stars Quite good for the price
I wasn't very sure how well this product will work when I bought it but after using it a couple of times, I am finding it really nice. It gives such a relaxed feeling after each use. Worth the price! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Maintaining
This is an awsome foot bath! I am a nail tech and I give sevralpedicures a day. This foot bath is one of the best at maintaining the water temprature. The key word is maintaining! Of course you have to put your disired water temprature in the foot bath first. So, if you know to do that this bath will please you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Footspa with Pleasure
For tired feet this footspa is everything. It maintains the heat and has all the relaxing attachments for the ultimate foot massage. With the help of the remote, you can sit back and enjoy the whirlpool jets circulating around your feet. Add a glass of wine and you are all set for you "Ultimate Foot Spa Experience"!

3-0 out of 5 stars Loved spa-hated remote control
I loved the spa when I could get it to work. This foot bath can ONLY be operated using the remote control, therefore if the remote goes so goes your foot bath.I could not get the spa to turn on again if I wanted to use it more than once a day.I turned it on for about 10 minutes then had to run an errand. The machine would not turn on again until the next day!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
I am 6 months pregnant and was in real need of a good warm foot massager. It had all the features but they don't live up to what I thought they would be.The removeable foot rollers are too big and painful as someone else mentioned, I just take them out.The bubbles do splash water all over the floor. There is a feature that says it will maintain the temp. of the water, but it doesn't, it gets cold quick. The manicure massager is ok, but it is in an awkward place. The vibration and the bubbles are nice but that's about it.Also, there should be a selection for bubbles only (without vibration). And there is NO fill line as the directions say!

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
It's nice to have a foot spa, but there were a few surprises. This biggest problem is that the "water jet" function, which does indeed feel good, splashes water everywhere. You need to line your chair and the floor for several feet away to keep things dry!Secondly, though the manual refers to a fill line, there isn't one. You have no idea how much water to put in this thing.I've tried lots of levels (nothing gets rid of the horrible splashing with water jets) and have one that works reasonably well, but there was a lot of trial and error involved.Lots of water on the floor too!
Also, the removable rollers are far too large and painful to do any good.Fortunately they are removable. Maybe on a very large foot they'd be okay, but not on a size 8.Ouch!And the "all-purpose" massager is totally useless. The other attachments work fine, but aren't worth extra cost -- you have to twist your foot around on top, and that's somewhat difficult.(Once I figured it out, it wasn't so bad, but it's difficult to rub the side of my toe).
The heat doesn't maintain the water temperature at all,it quickly drops.Start with the water hot and enjoy your ten minutes, that's all.
The vibration and bubble combination gives a very nice tingle on the soles of my feet -- that, I enjoy very much. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst product ever
This product didn't do anything for me.It's doesn't keep the water warm at all.I put hot water in it and it was cold within 10 minutes.Your better off just filling a bucket up with hot water and soaking your feet in it then buying this product.Don't waste your money!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for the price.
This is a good foot massager for the price. Sure, if you're looking for something fancy, this is not it. I found with hot water this works quite nice for about 15 minutes. It is deep so even my large feet (I am a man) fit in it nicely after a long day on my feet. It is quiet enough that I have even used it while watching TV. I couldn't justify spending much on this type of thing, but at the low price I had to try it. The bubbles really do relax my feet quite well.

2-0 out of 5 stars Save your money.
I purchased this footbath in an effort to help my perpetually sore feet. Unfortunately, after my first use, i found out that the "massaging" attachments do absolutely nothing for my feet, and the footbath leaves much to be desired (i.e. not enough relaxing bubbling action on the feet). The water often goes cold after about 8 minutes. I tried to return the footbath to the store where i bought it, only they refused to accept it because i had used it once, so it has become a dust collector in my bathroom closet. My suggestion would be to save your money and buy a higher quality footbath.

3-0 out of 5 stars I guess you get what you pay for.. and, it was a cheap one.
I would not recommend this item in fact i returned it. the removable pedicure attachments are useless, they dont vibrate spin nothing. the vibrations arent strong and the bubbles just splash every where. it does not maintain heat so if you put HOT water in the bath, within 10-20 minutes your water is cold. i would save your time and money and search for something better.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great product with a great price
I simply love it!! It keeps the water warm, gives great bubbles and a good vibration. And the best of all, it's very quiet!!! And another thing that I liked that I didn't know when I bought it, it's the fact that you can use it without water, just forrelaxation. All of that with good price! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Does the trick
Simple.Didn't want to deal with having to refill water, etc., just wanted some foot rubbin'.I find that sometimes from its motion my feet slide around a little, but I pretty much can usually find a way to make it work to get those hard-to-reach-spots.

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent Product
You get what you pay for. This thing's not going to grab your feet and do obscene things nor is it feature-laden.Getting certain parts of your feet massaged can be difficult because lacking proper leverage the massager will push your feet around; like when you try to do your heels.

The motor pushing the counter-rotating balls is not very strong and can be easily stopped by the weight of your leg.I'm 6'1, 210lbs.If I put the full weight of my leg through my foot onto the massager, it stops.I'm not talking about pressing, just letting my leg rest so the entire weight focal point is the part of my foot resting on the massager.

It's worth the price but keep an eye out for something better.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great massager!
So much better than those vibrating massagers that just leave my feet numb and itchy! The heat feels wonderful after a cold winter's day and the rotating massagers provide a great deep massage. If you have tickelish or sensitive feet, I recommend a good thick pair of socks. My husband tried it out and I think I might have to get him his own, so I can get mine back!

5-0 out of 5 stars great itemsuper fast free delivery
I purchased a back messager as a christmas gift. I wanted to buy a foot messager to match the back messager. I saw an awsome deal with amazon and decided 2 purchase (2). I also got a $30.00
credit signing up for the amazon c/card, and received free shipping. I ordered on December 27,04 (late), and was scheduled to arrive jan 6th/8th, 05. To my suprise I received it on dec.31st, just 3 days after ordering. This masseger works great and the moneysaved just adds to the amazement. This messager without the heat mode sells for $40.00 each everywhere I shopped. I got them for $18.56 each after the discounts. (2 for 1), simply amazing deal.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not soothing, like walking on marbles, very little warmth!
I was very disappointed in this massager. The rotating massagers feel like you are walking on marbles. The massaging pads are not soothing to the feet at all.The instructions say to allow a few moments for the infrared heat to warm up.After 20 minutes I was still waiting. The infrared heat was barely warm.I expected more of the product. It does not live up to the Homedics company reputation and it is twice the price of the other foot massagers.Don't buy this unit. ... Amazon.com

Don’t be fooled by the odd shape--although it looks like a fax machine, the Swirl & Soothe is actually a powerful foot massager. Covered rollers along the top soothe tired, achy feet with a strong kneading motion that more closely resembles a massage from a personal masseuse. You can adjust the rollers to go in either a forward or reverse direction and alternate the massage action between high and low speeds. The large, easy-to-use buttons can be accessed by either fingers or toes; however, a remote control comes with the unit so there’s never any need to bend over to reach the controls. For safety, this foot massager has two power buttons: one on its side and one on top. The cover over the rollers is removable and washable but, for durability, the rollers are protected by a second permanent interior cover. This massaging unit is covered by a limited one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

My foot massager arrived today, and I took it right out of the box and plugged it in.It's heaven. It really does knead out the soreness and made me feel completely relaxed.I highly recommend it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good product with a little defect
we like the massager a lot, especially my husband, he uses it almost everyday. Eveything is good except the remote, it never works from day one, we called and was told that we would get a replacement, but it never came and we called again, and we were told that it was back order. 1-0 out of 5 stars The worst
This is the worst thing that spent money on ever. It is just like your footwear with a vibrating motor inside. It is not designed prosessionally and the vibration is annoying. The batteries are not included and one needs special care to install the batteries that may damge the whole system. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

1-0 out of 5 stars Save your money
I bought for my wife who is pregnant for Christmas. I though it would be good for her feet. Memory foam is very thin, The massage is very loud. Not worth it. Save your money!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
My girlfriend got me these slippers for our aniversery. I thought regular slippers were nice to wear. These things are great. I too am wearing them right now. The fabric is just the right softness, the foam is great, and on my feet there nice and snug, keeping my feet cozy, and warm. Only thing is my feet are wide, so sometimes I fall off them when Im walking, but I think that is more my fault then the slippers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Memory Foam Slippers w/Massage-HEAVENLY!
I ordered these slippers from some catalog, as a gift for my Mother....I have them on my feet now...and I'm KEEPING this pair for myself and now shopping online for another pair to be shipped to both my Mother and my Sister for Christmas! The directions say not to walk while the battery-operated massage is turned ON.Just walking on memory foam is WONDERFUL, and sitting in my recliner with the massager on my slippers is SUPER.I really like the snugness of the fit--you don't have to worry about them falling off...very very nice.I haven't worn slippers for years, but my feet are thanking me for this pair now!By the way, I'm already spoiled with memory foam as I started with a mattress topper and pillow, and then had to buy a TempurPedic bed which I absolutely LOVE!I really have a hard time sleeping on a traditional mattress after melting into memory foam--it is the best! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Amazon MUST list all DON'Ts
I bought the foot spa for my mother and found out that this product (and I guess similar ones) is not allowed for usage by people with diabetes. There are other restrictions also. Amazon does not list all DON'Ts for this product and I suppose many people return this item back paying $10 or more for shipment. You better buy such things in a store. Don't buy online!

3-0 out of 5 stars Strictly ok kinds
I had higher expectations from it. It is good for soaking your feet in a warm container which also has the capability of keeping the water warm with hot water bubbles. I did not like the attachments. The so-called water jets is useless. Basically, it won't give you any extra comfort from what you get by keeping the feet in hot water for 15 mins.

4-0 out of 5 stars No Complaints Here
Being an IT Manager and short on staff, I do a lot of running around on the three floors we occupy in my building. By the end of the day, my feet are exhausted and they hurt. I asked my husband for this little gadget for Christmas and I was thrilled when Christmas morning, I found it was one of the gifts I got to unwrap. I have used it three times since and I have absolutely no complaints about it. It is soothing; helps me to relax and relieve the stress of the work day. I sit in front of the television, soaking my feet for 15-30 minutes and I feel like I am ready to tackle the next hectic day. The remote is a great feature because it lets you change the settings on the unit without having to bend down/over. The accessories are a plus in that they allow you to put pressure on certain points of your feet which you could normally only get with a foot massage! I would recommend this product to anyone...and while you're at it, add some bath oil or bath salts to the water. My feet come out silky smoothe.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ehhhhh
This product was kind of a disappointment. It's good if you just want something to soak your feet in, but my bath just stopped working after about 8 months and about 8 uses. And I really had no use for all of the attachments because you have to roll your feet on top of them - I needed to relax, not work out my calves!Overall, just ok. ... This is a great massager for the price. The only issue I have with it are the extra attatchments. You may as well toss them. The basic spa however is a divine treat. Just what I was hoping for. A hot tub for your tired toes. It bubbles and massages. The jets are strong enough to feel really good.

5-0 out of 5 stars A private jacuzzi for your tired feet...
This is a good investment considering it's price is equal to 2 pedicures (or less!). I fill it with warm water and relax in front of the TV. The bubbles and the jets are quite strong and I liked the fact that it did not splash the water. I add some bath salts or scents to it once in a while and it has not clogged anything in the machine so far. The jets and bubbles are strong enough to give a almost saloon like experience. I sometimes use the pads on top to rub my feet but mostly I have to use a foot scraper if I want to get rid of some dead skin. A nice investment to keep your feet happy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Could there be a better foot spa?
I dont think there could be a better foot spa than this one.Conair has really made a gem of a footspa.Following is my delight with this footspa.

1.Heat.It does not heat water. However, unless you're soaking your feet in the Arctic or soaking for over 30 minutes, theres no need for the spa to heat the water.I never understood the need for heating the water from cold or maintaining 105 degree temperatores, but if heating of water is a concern for you, I wouldnt get this foot spa.

2. Bubbles. This spa does remarkably well. Many foot spas I've owned (homedics, dr scholls) are very very weak in the bubble department. This spa has good strong bubbles all along your feet.Of course considering your feet are places right on top of where bubbles will come out, dont expect gale force winds to be bubbling on your feet. The bubbles are relaxing, substantial and I have yet to have this clog.

3. Vibration.VERY GOOD!I've owned many footspas and this one is the first that doesnt sound like a train is going through my bedroom.Even on high speed with bubbles and jets this spa is quite quiet. The vibration is powerful and very soothing.

4.Water Jets. This is the centerpiece for this footspa. No other spa has jets of water like a jaccuzzi on your toes. The jets are very relaxing and are a good compliment to bubbles and massage.

5.Bottom of footspa. No spikes!!Thank goodness!Homedics has determined that we want spikes under tired swolen feet.Fortunately Conair thinks differently and my feet arent spiked by an uncomfortable bottom.

6.Splash Factor.Even when overly filled, this spa causes very little splash despite having bubbles, vibration and water jets.Of course with bubbles you will have splash factor, but put a towel under your footspa and your carpet wont get wet.

7. Loofah pads.Just ok, not really good for smoothing rough feet, but pretty relaxing to rub your feet over the pads.Pads are removable for cleaning or if you just dont want to look at them

All in all, a fantastic foot spa and well worth every dime ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Not as impressive in-person
This review covers the FB11NR: same unit with slightly different control pushbuttons and with an IR remote.

Somehow, i had deluded myself into thinking that the spinning massagers under each foot were powered. Nope... basically just built-in plastic versions of those usually wooden massaging rollers that one rolls one's foot upon. That's fine, yet when i want to relax, i'm not thinking about moving my feet. Fortunately, those are removable, and removal is exactly what happened.

The killer was that the center massage wheel, which IS supposed to be powered and IS supposed to spin, was D.O.A. This unit went back to the store, and we bought an FB21 instead. Amazon has no listing for that model, so i can't give a full review on it. It was good enough to keep.

Both the FB11NR and the FB21 share some traits. Neither one really keeps water anywhere near its original temperature. Sound levels vary from fairly quiet to quite loud, depending upon the operating mode chosen (i did dB measurements on the FB21, but since Amazon doesn't list that one, you don't get to see them). The FB21 seems to have slightly better build quality, and everything worked out of the box, so we kept that one.

3-0 out of 5 stars Uh, ok...
These are just not that great. This particular version I'd read multiple complaints about so my husband bought me the supposedly much better one with loofah's to rub your feet on and 5 massage heads. The water does NOT stay warm..the heater doesn't really work. The jets felt okay, the vibration attachments on the bottom of each side tickled and the loofah works..well..like a loofah..but only on the bottom of your feet since they are flat and planted in the plastic. Unfortunately for you, you won't get any of the ticklers and loofah because you are buying this one. That was the only part I liked!

They are messy, cool off way too fast, not fun to clean..especially if you leave dirty water in there for over an hour.. and I was shorted one of the massage heads. I'm not thrilled, think Conair needs to give up or work miracles on future versions and have only used it once since receiving it for Christmas. I'll be nice and rate it a 3...and that's for the BETTER one which I can never seem to find on Amazon to rate!

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
Compared to just sticking you feet into a warm basin, this is slightly better.I agree with some of the other reviews about the rollers hurt your feet, so I removed them.Someone else said it was hard to put their feet in because of the guard on the top, that too I removed. It is on the noisy side, nor does it keep the water temperature for to long. But I had another brand prior to this one, and this one to me is better.

5-0 out of 5 stars My feet are happy! My wallet is happy!
I purchased what I believe to be an older model, the FB11 (it has a dial @ the top with the same vibrating/heat/bubble features that the "toe control" buttons offer on the FB11N) and I'm very pleased.I purchased it, in spite of the not-so-great reviews that I read here on Amazon!I got a good deal, and as a NEWBIE to home foot spas, or even salon pedicure treatments in general (I've had TWO in my 36 years) I just wanted to "get my feet wet," so to speak and was able to do so @ a good price.

I used some of the suggestions I read here and on reviews of other spas, such as using warmer than you normally would water, and it still didn't keep it piping hot... but it did stay warm enough for me to get a nice 15 minute soak. The bubble feature was QUITE bubbly... and splashy... but that can be remedied by doing a test run and filling up to the max water line WITH your feet inside the spa... not going to the max fill line, sticking your feet in and then wondering why you are splashing everywhere!Your feet do displace the water somewhat... so keep that in mind.

I'm extremely pleased with the purchase.I'm not accustomed to professional pedicure bubbling machine-things @ salons, so I'm not "spoiled" in that regard... and this is so convenient... I'm a mom with 2 kids under 4 whose hubby is away on business A LOT and need some pampering.I can't justify 45 minutes in a salon... would have to hire a sitter... and its just too much trouble AND too much money.I need 15 minutes to myself after the kids are in bed... It did wonders for my outlook!

2-0 out of 5 stars Holy crap is this thing loud!
It is pretty hard to relax with a horribly noisy buzzing sound. One would think that is an obvious statement, but apparently the folks at Conair didn't really think about that in creating this bit of "home relaxation" equipment.Unfortunately, you also need to place your feet in at a rather odd angle in order to get them to fit under the guard at the top - that is, unless you have little teeny feet. And I mean teeny - mine are size 7s, and they don't fit very comfortably.

Still, warm feet are good!So if you're looking for warm feet, this is the spa for you.If you want to relax though, perhaps a good set of headphones would help. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

After a wearying day or a long jog, this versatile footbath offers three options(vibration and heat; vibration, heat, and bubbles; or vibration, heat, bubbles, and water-jetaction) to soothe tired feet. As if that were not relief enough, the accessories offer evenmore options. Two rollers snap into the bottom to massage soles with or without water inthe bath. A round pumice, a round brush, and a disk massager with bumps can besnapped onto a post in the bath's divider and activated to a spinning motion by applyingfoot pressure. Finally, atop the green, translucent splashguard are two loofa pads to rubagainst feet. Made of plastic, sitting securely on rubber feet, and providing wraparoundpower cord storage, the foot bath measures 17-1/2 by 15-3/4 by 8 inches and is about 3-1/2 inches deep.--Fred Brack ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Can't quite relax...
I've always loved a hot tub of water to soak my feet at the end of a long day, and thought that adding some whirling jets and vibration could only add to the luxurious experience.Well, the time honored "simple is better" adage holds true here too.The item is big and bulky and by the time it has the water in it, it's heavy too.The basin doesn't seem deep enough, as my ankles stay dry (ankles need love too!).Also, the cord on the machine is relatively short considering you want to be sitting in a comfy chair at the same time.So you either need to hope your furniture is situated near an outlet, or drag out an extension cord. But MOST IMPORTANTLY, my biggest issue is the noise. Now, I didn't expect total silence from a vibrating machine, but this thing is LOUD...and I have a really hard time unwinding when I'm listening to an incessant and loud hum. Also, the water really doesn't stay very warm.Overall, I would recommend sticking with the tried and true plastic tub of (motionless) water.

3-0 out of 5 stars Victoria
I've now had 2 Conair foot baths and both of them broke down on me and, therefore I'm looking for a reliable brand of foot bath.I loved the jets on this machine but the vibration element quit working and since you cannot actually reach the controls (you just press a bottom and the actual control is under the plastic housing meaning one cannot investigate the problem unless you take the whole machine apart)there is no way for me to fix it and not worth cost of a repair person.Plus, it would be nice if there was a heater so the water doesn't go cold. The loofas atop the machine are worthless.I will not buy another Conair product!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Value for the Money
OK, let's be honest people. This, nor any other home product, is going to give you the same results as the commercial grade foot spas used at salons. But, it does do a more than adequate job for at home use.I suggest that you place the unit on a towel and fill it with water a little warmer than you normally prefer. This will allow for the cool down of the water as the heat is activating. The unit does maintain water temperature but does not heat the water. The vibration, bubbles and water jets all work as described and are very soothing.Your feet will feel energized and relaxed after being in the foot spa.The pedicure attachments hang conveniently on the side of the unit and work either dry or wet.

For a $50 investment, this will allow you to soothe or warm your feet in the winter months.

1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't have storing area for attachments
That is another thing that is not good about this one. it has like 4 attachments, plus feet inserts that do not have any where to be stored in the unit. For me, that is a real pain cause it means I have more stuff to find room for and more stuff that can get eaten by our dog or lost by our 1 yr. old. The Dr. Scholl's one has a compartment for those attachments as well. I am telling you, that one is better in all ways! I should go work for Dr. Scholl! Also, those loofah things in the front, are useless. they do not offer much for roughness and i am sure would need to be replaced within a few uses otherwise they would get nasty! yuck. horrible design this thing has!

2-0 out of 5 stars very lamn, buy the dr. scholls
took it back for the dr. scholl's version. which is 10 times better. conairs heating didn't work good at all and its jets were weak. everything was weak about it. the dr. scholls version not only keeps the water warm, it will warm cooled water! it also has an infrared unit which isn't offered on the others. the jets are very powerful, as well. i was surprised. i honestly didn't expect that out of any of them. save your money on the conair. it is way over priced. ...
