Great table warmer and a GREAT price!
I have researched the internet and all over Ebay for table warmers and this one, by far, was the least expensive. The free shipping that Amazon offers makes a big difference in me ordering my items from here, also. For the money, ($28.99)I think this table warmer is GREAT. It covers the entire length of my massage table and stays on the table nicely with elastic straps. It has different temp settings. It heats up well and it heats up fast. I will always have sheets, etc over my table warmer and the client's skin never touches the actual warmer so there isn't a real need to wash them. This table warmer is definitely highly recommended.

Use a twin pad instead!
The thing about this table warmer is that there is no way to wash it!The cord is permanently attached and, unlike bedding electricial mattress pad, it cannot be detached and thrown into the washing maching.

not worth the money
This product is just like any other chair massager.NOTHING SPECIAL about it.It does the same sh.. as any other competitor.I would not even pay $40 for this item.HoMedics is not all that.I ordered this item because of the promotional certificate.

Super Saver Shipping is a Joke
I order this item on January 16. The system told me that the item will be shipped between Feb. 1 and Feb. 10. I recieved a notice today, saying that the shipping date is delayed to April.

there are a few bad points to this massager:its pretty loud, sounds like someone is playing really loud bass right outside your window....the motors are in the perfect spot to press directly on your spine, they should have put them off to the side a little....the straps dont reach around a recliner, i guess you're supposed to sit at a dining room chair to use it(havent tried it in the car yet)....the heat doesnt get very hot.....besides all those points its good.

Never use Super Saver Shipping again
I placed the order in Dec 30, 2004 using Super Saver Shipping for my wife's pain on the back. The price for this item is $52.67 with a $20 gift card. I have not received the item yet(Jan 27) and I found the delivery date was postponed from January to April. Then I still have to use other shipping options with almost one month delay.

Nice Massage & Warming but a Little Uncomfortable.
I just purchased this product and have been using it for a week or so.I rated it 3 stars because while it has some modes which I am very fond of and are very relaxing, it also has a couple of other quirks that I'm not so fond of.

It has 3 different strength vibrations which are suprsingly strong (low, medium, and high) You can choose to isolate sections (top of back, lower back, or thighs) but unfortunately in the isolation mode, you can only have one section on at a time which is sad since I'd like to have just my thighs and lower back isolated and I cant.There are a couple rotating or action modes where it will go from the top of the back, to the lower back, to the thighs, and so forth.

As stated in a previous review, you will be suprised how strong the vibration mode is, and they weren't kidding.In my opinion, its almost too much vibration (high, higher, and highest).If you run it for too long your whole body begins to tingle and you have to turn it off.Another little quirk i have, which in my opinion actually is a plus, is when you turn the heat on, it seems to drain strength from the vibrators and lessens the intensity of everything, which ends up being very comfortable.

My favorite mode is with the heat on and the lower back isolation mode on low.It is very soothing and pleasing and I definately enjoy this very much.This mode alone almost makes the product worth the money.Now, if you are one of those people who love a deep, powerful, and jolting massage, you'll be in total heaven with this massager.

The last quirk I have is the comfort issue.Though the product is very soft "suade" material, the vibrator and heater units tend to be a bit uncomfortable when you are not using the unit.It took me about 3-5 minutes to get the massager "strapped" into my chair (however, you could just toss it on in a matter of seconds, but i wanted it to be good and secure for long term stationary use).Problem is, when im not using it, i am sitting on the vibrator/heating unit "buldges" which is a tad uncomfortable; but what can you do?I guess you could just toss the unit on there whenever you want to use it, but what a pain in the bum.

So all in all, I'd have to say this is an excellent "portable" massager with some serious relaxation ability but loses a couple stars since its a little too powerful for me and has a some issues with comfortablity and massage choicing issues.

The worst
This is the worst thing that spent money on ever. It is just like your footwear with a vibrating motor inside. It is not designed prosessionally and the vibration is annoying. The batteries are not included and one needs special care to install the batteries that may damge the whole system. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Save your money
I bought for my wife who is pregnant for Christmas. I though it would be good for her feet. Memory foam is very thin, The massage is very loud. Not worth it. Save your money!!

My girlfriend got me these slippers for our aniversery. I thought regular slippers were nice to wear. These things are great. I too am wearing them right now. The fabric is just the right softness, the foam is great, and on my feet there nice and snug, keeping my feet cozy, and warm. Only thing is my feet are wide, so sometimes I fall off them when Im walking, but I think that is more my fault then the slippers.

Amazon MUST list all DON'Ts
I bought the foot spa for my mother and found out that this product (and I guess similar ones) is not allowed for usage by people with diabetes. There are other restrictions also. Amazon does not list all DON'Ts for this product and I suppose many people return this item back paying $10 or more for shipment. You better buy such things in a store. Don't buy online!

Strictly ok kinds
I had higher expectations from it. It is good for soaking your feet in a warm container which also has the capability of keeping the water warm with hot water bubbles. I did not like the attachments. The so-called water jets is useless. Basically, it won't give you any extra comfort from what you get by keeping the feet in hot water for 15 mins.

No Complaints Here
Being an IT Manager and short on staff, I do a lot of running around on the three floors we occupy in my building. By the end of the day, my feet are exhausted and they hurt. I asked my husband for this little gadget for Christmas and I was thrilled when Christmas morning, I found it was one of the gifts I got to unwrap. I have used it three times since and I have absolutely no complaints about it. It is soothing; helps me to relax and relieve the stress of the work day. I sit in front of the television, soaking my feet for 15-30 minutes and I feel like I am ready to tackle the next hectic day. The remote is a great feature because it lets you change the settings on the unit without having to bend down/over. The accessories are a plus in that they allow you to put pressure on certain points of your feet which you could normally only get with a foot massage! I would recommend this product to anyone...and while you're at it, add some bath oil or bath salts to the water. My feet come out silky smoothe.

HoMedics BMS-10H Body Masseur
This is a great product at a very good price.I'd give it 5 stars, based on design, features, etc. if it weren't for the nasty pastic/chemical smell that took some time to air out on my back porch.I'm going to wash the cover to try to get rid of the smell faster.Overall this is a great product and Amazon provided fast service and a friendly, helpful costomer service rep when I had questions about a mixup on my order.

Superb for those with back pain
...but of course, since this massager proved useful and helpful to consumers, it is no longer available?! I use this massager whenever back pain strikes and it is indispensable. Great value for the price. Will put you to sleep. Mine was purchased from one of the bricks-and-motar retailers rather than online. Maybe even from Wal-Mart, in a rare departure from their strategy of selling useless and quickly disposable impulse purchases.

heaven is a place..a place where nothing ever happens
except when you lie on this puppy...It has a nice built in shut off so you can use it to fall asleep and not worry. A little short for me, but I can't fit in an airline seat either. For an avg size person it should cover the whole body.
I give it 5 stars for what it does...the only reason I gave it 4 is that it is packed in the smelliest plastic that permeates the product. They say to "air" it out for 24 hours...more like a week for the smell to totally go away.

I have had many vibrating heating pads, Pollenex, Sunbeam and half dozen other brands.NEVER has one come near to doing what this does.I paid for a Pollenex one at twice this price and it vibrated....high, medium and low.Just a continuous shimmy hum.

This one almost scared me when I first turned it own.You have so many choices on how this one patterns.You have separate heat, massage settings.But then you can break the massage patterns down to nearly dozens choice.You have high, medium, low strength and high, medium, low speed.Then you have control for little mini motors at five level.Feet, knees, hips, lower back and neck.You can run all five at once, or chose just neck and feet or maybe feet, knees and hips.One person complained about the noise against his head.Well, push that button and turn that little bugger off on the neck and let everything else run!It doesn't stop there.

Good, but limited only to very small cars
I bought this for my husband to use in our Corolla.He loves the heat function and the dual massage is pretty good, the lower back works better than the upper.The only problem we found with this unit is the straps to hold it in place on the seat.They aren't long enough and the material won't stretch sufficiently to fit around the bucket seat of a Corolla!A Corolla is a midsize sedan what type of seat was this product designed to fit a VW bug?! There is no way we will ever be able to use it in our Expedition.Really bad design.

My husband has to just place it on the seat and adjust it which is not optimal since it can shift while you are driving.I got it on sale so I its worth the price I paid, but I wouldn't pay full price for it again.

WOW! way surpassed my expectations!

A private jacuzzi for your tired feet...
This is a good investment considering it's price is equal to 2 pedicures (or less!). I fill it with warm water and relax in front of the TV. The bubbles and the jets are quite strong and I liked the fact that it did not splash the water. I add some bath salts or scents to it once in a while and it has not clogged anything in the machine so far. The jets and bubbles are strong enough to give a almost saloon like experience. I sometimes use the pads on top to rub my feet but mostly I have to use a foot scraper if I want to get rid of some dead skin. A nice investment to keep your feet happy!

Could there be a better foot spa?
I dont think there could be a better foot spa than this one.Conair has really made a gem of a footspa.Following is my delight with this footspa.

1.Heat.It does not heat water.However, unless you're soaking your feet in the Arctic or soaking for over 30 minutes, theres no need for the spa to heat the water.I never understood the need for heating the water from cold or maintaining 105 degree temperatores, but if heating of water is a concern for you, I wouldnt get this foot spa.

2. Bubbles.This spa does remarkably well.Many foot spas I've owned (homedics, dr scholls) are very very weak in the bubble department.This spa has good strong bubbles all along your feet.Of course considering your feet are places right on top of where bubbles will come out, dont expect gale force winds to be bubbling on your feet.The bubbles are relaxing, substantial and I have yet to have this clog.

3. Vibration.VERY GOOD!I've owned many footspas and this one is the first that doesnt sound like a train is going through my bedroom.Even on high speed with bubbles and jets this spa is quite quiet.The vibration is powerful and very soothing.

4.Water Jets.This is the centerpiece for this footspa.No other spa has jets of water like a jaccuzzi on your toes.The jets are very relaxing and are a good compliment to bubbles and massage.

5.Bottom of footspa.No spikes!!Thank goodness!Homedics has determined that we want spikes under tired swolen feet.Fortunately Conair thinks differently and my feet arent spiked by an uncomfortable bottom.

6.Splash Factor.Even when overly filled, this spa causes very little splash despite having bubbles, vibration and water jets.Of course with bubbles you will have splash factor, but put a towel under your footspa and your carpet wont get wet.

7. Loofah pads.Just ok, not really good for smoothing rough feet, but pretty relaxing to rub your feet over the pads.Pads are removable for cleaning or if you just dont want to look at them

most efficient tool for relaxing self-therapy
This awkward looking thing is surprisingly efficient; more so than most professionally administered deep tissue massages I have had so far. No therapist was ever working the way I wanted it. With the cane you can work exactly the areas where you need it and as long and as strong as you need it. For me this easily replaces the 15 minute/15$ back-massages on the chair. I tremendously enjoy the relaxing aspects of the treatments in my own environment at my own time. It is well worth it.

No Heat Neck Massager
Just as Cynthia Fuben complained in her review, this neck massager produces no heat.The subtle vibration is pleasant but will not relax the tensed neck muscles without heat.Nice ad but poor performance.I suggest you look for a product that actually provides the elements that are advertised on the box.There are products in the marketplace that actually do what they claim, so I am going to return this product and find one that actually produces heat AND has a real vibrating mechanism in it.BEWARE THE WORD "GENTLE VIBRATION" !!!

What a Relief
First off I would like to say that this was not intended for me.I bought this for my grandmother for Christmas.All I have been hearing from her is that this is by far the best present she has received.At first I was surprised when she mentioned how it helped her stiff neck and back loosen up and relax.So I decided to try it myself.My middle back has always been a pain the..., but it really worked.The massaging motors really hit the spot.It also has a remote with time setting which is just awesome.Set time and relax.I've seen how a few other comments say that it smells.It's the smell of something new.Perhaps they bought it used and unwashed.I have nothing bad to say about this product.Two thumbs up.Oh yeah and five stars.

very smelly indeed
I had read the first review, but went ahead and ordered it anyway as this was the exact model my wife asked for.
first i ordered it on 12-21 with the next day air option to ensure delivery by 12-23. fat chance! i received it 12-27 a full week after ordering. when it didnt arrive on 12-24 i went to wally world (walmart) and picked up a $39 massager which had several motors for the upper back shoulders (total 9 ) just to have something under the tree. upon arrival of the homedics, not only did it smell very bad, which was understated by the previous review, but was uncomfortable especially the neck part. (which was the reason for choosing this model) and was underpowered compared to the $39 model at walmart.
we have a homedics hand massager which we love, i guess this is one time the higher priced item was NOT better.

Smelly vibrating mat
I bought this item thinking it was similar to another massage product from Homedics [Homedics® TherapistSelect™ Shiatsu Massaging Cushion With Moving Massage Mechanism (Model # SBM-200)]. I should have read the packaging more closely because this item did not have any of the Shiatsu-like mechanisms.

The first thing I noticed about the product was that it smelled quite funny (kind of like glue). I noticed this was a complaint about the above mentioned item as well on other reviews. After plugging it in (with it's too-short power cord), I tried it out.The mat pretty much just vibrates with different intensities. The main feature is its neck massager. That pretty much just rolls around and it did not feel at all comfortable to both me and my wife.

On the good side, it does look nice and feels like reasonably good material.

However, for the price, I believe one can find something much better. Items like the Thera Cane would be more worth the money.

I concur with the previous reviewer.

I also want to add that though I was initially not enthusiastic about using this massager, I discovered when I had jaw surgery two weeks ago (3 Feb 2004) this massage was one of the best ways to stimulate, relax and release blood flow from my neck and shoulders, where I usually store lots of tension.
