This is the best balance ball I've had. It was easy to inflate (offering a foot pump rather than a bicycle pump) and it's made of good, sturdy material just like it advertises. it worked for me
I bought this item back in Oct and I got pregnant with no promblem and all.

Mixed Results
I used these for four months and would not recommend them because of my mixed experience.The first two months, the ovulation predictor was positive at the right time and only once, so it seemed they were working.When the ovulation test was not positive at all the next two months, I began to get worried that I wasn't ovulating.Later when my period was late, I used the pregnancy tests.After about three which I thought were negative, I looked closer and noticed there was a faint positive line.I got a First Response pregnancy test 3 pack and took those (of course all three!), and all were positive.So I got pregnant when I was starting to worry I had ovulation problems! It really doesn't work
After reading several comments I tried to proof my scale is working properly. However, like someone else wrote the scale is not consistant. I weight myself several times and noticed very considerable diferrences in readings. Like some one else I even tried placing an additional amount of weight in my hands. The scale gave me several readings for the same amount of weight. Now! A digital scale is supposed to be percise...

Don't waste your money
First of all, the battery that was supposed to be enclosed was not. When I bought a 9 volt battery and installed it, it would not stay attached when putting it back in the battery compartment. Finally, I got a read out, and entered my height and age. Then I stood on the scale and got nothing - no weight, no body fat, nothing, but the word ERROR, at which point I boxed it up and sent it back for a refund.

Tempermental scale
I have had my scale for several years now.The price was right.The weight reading seem accurate, and the body fat seems to be consistent, but I am not sure how accurate it is.I have lost weight lately (and I am sure body fat) and the scale confirms this.The body fat measurement are high if I drink a lot of water or am bloated!This may be the variability some people are referring to.My problem is that every so often the scale will not give me any reading at all!It displays an EE instead of a reading (it is not the battery).I have found that it needs to be on a VERY level surface, with no vibrations.It will only work in certain locations, and it will go off by itself if the battery is left in.I am beginning to be convinced that it is sensitive to barometric pressure, as there is a high-pressure front coming in and my scale will not work.I might recommend avoiding some frustration and trying a different brand of scale with fewer quirks if you can find one for a comprable price.

I have had the scale for about a year now and have had no problems with it. Weight measurement seems to be accurate. The body fat analyzer seems to measure alittle high, but works good enough to track my progress with my percentage body. I also bought this scale because it was rated high in consumer reports. I would recommend this scale highly because of the prize and options.

Good way to monitor.
This is a good way to monitor your cholesterol, but it should not take the place of lab tests -- especially if you are taking cholesterol medication.This is not as accurate and only tests Total Cholesterol.It is important to know LDLs, HDLs, and Triglycerides.My husband uses it once a month and tests in the morning before eating which is more accurate than testing right after eating a big steak, for example.Make sure to read the enclosed booklet.**TIP:the strips are $3.00 per strip.You need a LARGE hanging drop of blood or the monitor will void that strip and it will have been wasted.I am an RN and wasted 2 strips one time!!So far, I have found that Amazon.com is the place to buy the monitor and the strips at the best price!

Better than the alternatives.Note what's included!
I've been using the monitor a couple months now to watch the other, pleasant side effects of losing my beer belly through diet and exercise.In sum, a useful device and far better monitoring tool than the alternative - more expensive kits that require you to take a blood sample and then send it in for testing.I knock it down a star for ease of use issues, but something I plan to use once a month until I'm under 150 mg/dl.

Keep in mind this is a fairly simple device with some limitations.Basically, put a little blood on a test strip and it comes back with a total cholesterol reading if you're between 150 and 300 mg/dl.Unfortunately, this doesn't check HDL/LDL or lipid levels, something necessary to figure out where your health really stands.Also, for those in decent shape a total cholesterol level under 150 mg/dl isn't all that unusual.Thus, this is really designed more for people who've been warned to watch their cholesterol levels rather than the average healthy person.As such it's a useful monitoring device but clearly doesn't substitute for more comprehensive tests.

Only knock on this is that as other reviewers have noted the ease of use isn't great.Besides making sure that everything is completely set up so you can put your blood on the strip within 30 seconds of inserting it, the hardware key is a bit tough to get working (has to go all the way in!), and the menus aren't exactly user friendly.The drawer underneath where you store the lancet also does a nice job of blocking part of the battery compartment.Not the best designed diagnostic tool I've seen.

Finally, keep in mind that if you buy this you do have to buy a separate 6 pack of strips (and diagnostic key) for it to function, with each strip being good for one and only one test (even if the test doesn't produce results.)What's important to note is you do NOT need to buy the storage card and the PC tracking software - they're included with this model (and work with Windows XP unlike the description.)

A useful monitoring device.Wish it did more and was easier to use, but for now it's the best game in town.

Great technology
I didn't have much problems with it. I wrote a review for the strips describing that experience. The monitor itself is well design and self-contained. It can store the complete 6-pc strip kit in back of monitor. Its readings are about 10% different than the labs reports, but the lab's device has a 6% biological variation, 3% bias and 3% precision to cover themselves. I would say you get a more accurate reading from the LSP5000 verses the modified numbers you get from a lab. If you have a cholesterol issue and don't want to run to the doctor constantly for $60 lab tests each time, this device it a must.

USE OF TEST STRIPS
It appears that the test monitor is too sensitive. I have to go thru 5 test strips to finally get a reading. I know I have 90 sec to enter blood sample on test strip. I do so in time but the monitor says to enter blood drop for probably 2 min. then says monitor timed out. I can't use that same strip and must use another strip. It's taking 5 strips to get one measurement. That's to say nothing of 5 holes in my fingers and the cost.

I'm not that fast!
You have to be FAST (!!!) when you use this test. The instructions are not too complicated, but the hard part is lancing your finger and getting your drop of blood on the test strip within the 30 or so seconds allowed. If you don't get it right and it takes you longer, your strip is rejected and you just wasted 3+Dollars.It's happened to me several times, even though I followed instructions carefully. Also, you have to be very careful about the expiration date, the strips won't work past the expiration date on the packet. I ended up with six strips that I wasted money on because the machine rejects them, saying the date expired. I understand this from a safety standpoint, but they should have a way, perhaps for a handling fee, to exchange the expired strip packet for fresh ones, why should I have to pay twice? Excellent for strength training!
I bought this 4-in-1 foam padded barbell set, to supplement my dumbbell strength training and am very happy with it.I use to just do cardiovascular workouts, but then I discovered that it is recommended that cardiovascular, strength training and stretching go hand in hand, to maximize the benefits of excercising.I started with dummbells weighing no more than 8 lbs and have now added on Danskin's barbell set.

Not Accurate
This is my second pedometer, and while better than my first one, I am not happy with it.The directions are very confusing. I have never figured out some of the features and how to adjust them. If I am doing vigerous walking it does a very good job of counting my steps.However, if I am out shopping or slowly walking, sometimes the step counter never changes.Today, I walked all over the grocery store and the number of steps never changed since I was slowly walking.I am sure there must be a more accurate, easy to use pedometer out there.

Disappointing
I used this pedometer for about 3 months before the pins fell out that held it together - only to be lost forever. This pedometer is not very easy to use.
I kept having to refer to the difficult-to-follow instructions to figure out how it works. It has some good features, but I lost interest in trying to learn about them, so I ended up just resetting it daily and using the step/calorie counters only.All in all, I am going to buy another pedometer as this one is useless to me without the belt clip. ... Great ankle support
While still recovering from a badly sprained/strained ankle & broken heal bone, I've been trying to return to as many of my normal activities as possible.Most importantly, in addition to normal walking, I regularly swim laps 3 to 4 times each week during which I need to protect my weakened foot and ankle.

All the other ankle supports I found were too bulky, complicated or uncomfortable.This is the only splint I've found that is not only extremely comfortable but also allows me to wear my regular shoes... and my "Zoomers" (shorty swim fins)!When I first used it in the pool, I wore it inside my Zoomer - worked okay, but the stabilizer tended to rub a bit.However, I found that it's much more comfortable & equally supportive to put it on over the Zoomer.(Just pull the splint on & above your foot, put on the swim fin & then put the splint into position and secure it over the fin.)
