Followed Directions, Not Satisfied
Didn't seem to make my hair feel any different, except that it felt weighed down. I have fairly long, thick, naturally curly, dry hair and this just did not work for me. If you do decide to try it: 1. AB Hair Treatment, 2. Shampoo, 3. Use your normal conditioner. Don't skip your conditioner thinking the Burt's took care of your conditioning needs. I tried that and my hair was a dry fuzz ball that day.

INCREDIBLE multi-purpose hair treatment!!
This is the most AMAZING hair product I have ever used (and that is no small claim, Burt's Bees has won me over for good!!) This product smells like HEAVEN! and even better it is a superb deep leave in conditioner ( I bought a combo kit at Sun Harvest that has the avacodo treatment and a cute little shower cap with little bees on it, but any shower cap will work fine). Put the stuff in your hair, put the cap on and go to sleep, and in the morning you wash your hair and it is so soft and shiny!I color my hair all the time and this treatment keeps my delicate hair so strong and healthy...my mom, brother and many of our friends are addicted to this stuff now!

And if that is not enought... both my man and I have thrown out ALL of our hair products (no joke and we had a ton!) and ONLY use the Avacado Hair treatment..ONE tube takes the place of ALL of our: gels, pommade, wax, etc. and you only need a little bit to keep your hair polished, full of life and in place all day,,plus your hair smells great all day long!If you already havegreat hair or your hair needs extra TLC I would highly advise you to buy this...it is funny to say..but it has truely changed the life of our hair for good!I no longer have to waste anymore time or $$$ looking for a better product....

I love the way this smells...SO GOOD! Good for a deep moisturizing treatment every once in a while during the winter.(I however didn't read that you were suppose to use the treatment BEFORE you shampoo...I shampooed my hair THEN followed with the treatment...which left my hair oily and sticky.) WHEN USED CORRECTLY THIS IS GREAT!

Famtastic Hair Cleanser
WEN is a rather different hair cleanser (note I didn't say shampoo).As the name states, it's a cleansing conditioner - you massage it into your hair, leave on for 3-5 minutes and rinse for 1-3 minutes. I got the Sweet Almond Mint and my scalp felt wonderfully tingly. There is no lather and that did take a bit of getting used to, but that's such a minor thing.
WEN has made my hair shiny, soft and manageable, and for the first time in ages I don't have hair in my comb after shampooing.

The customer service is fantastic and the shipping is fast. The price may seem a bit steep, but you'd pay that or more if you bought another high end shampoo and condioner separately. Effective I can skip a day
I like this very much. I use it about once or twice a week to keep my other shampoo working well. It has a REALLY THICK lather and I love the mint smell. You do however HAVE TO use a conditioner with this, because it does strip your hair it feels like. When I use this product I can usually skip a day on the hair washing!

I use it for striping
I have used this Burt's Bees - Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar, 3.5 oz bar once a week for over a year. It is simpler to use than trying to negotiate with two hands and the water. It lathers up fast and using such a minute amount that I do not know how Burt's Bees stays in business. Most of the time o am experimenting with shampoos that leave some sort of waxy buildup and this bar seems to be able to strip it all off. What ever Rosemary Mint is the aroma does not carry further than the shower. Using it constantly is a little drying. Just about any conditioner will counter the drying.

Great "natural" alternative
I came across this bar during my search for a sodium lauryl sulfate free shampoo--it was in a trial size pack.There's some learning curve involved--be sure to rub the bar on your head *while* the water is running over your hair--but it leaves my hair squeaky clean and soft and I liked the environmentally-sound packaging and company ethic.

Only four stars, though, because I haven't used it long-term yet, but like it so far!

Off Aroma
I am impressed with Burt's Bees and highly enjoy several of their products but this is not one of them. The smell of this shampoo/soap was offensive and turned my stomach slightly. It has an odd sort of mint/medicinal odor.

Wonder-bar
I recently received the Burt's Bees gift pack this Christmas that included the shampoo bar and lots of other goodies.I have the thickest, kinky curly hair you can imagine.I have spent hundred of dollars trying to keep it manageable and friz-free.Imagine my shock when I used a bar of soap and found my hair easy to comb.I have been combining this shampoo bar with the Avacodo Conditioning gel and found that not only is my hair easy to comb and free of frizzies, but I do not have to use all those harsh gels and products to keep it that way.Thanks to Burt's Bees products, I have healthy, happy, environmentally happy hair.

Use on your face
Great smell and the tingle is cool.It makes hair soft, but seems to strip too much oil out, though my hair is never oily (even after camping for a week).I only use it as shampoo twice a week.

Five stars for use on skin, though.I used Nuetregena (sp?) before and it was ok.The shampoo calmed my face down the first time I used it though.Acne is now gone completly.Don't pick though, acne looks more ready to leave but it will go away without your help (that's gross anyway).
