Cheap and relaxing at-home facial
I have really enjoyed this kit. Once in a while I like to give myself a "spa day" and really go to town with my face. This is a nice kit that takes care of almost every step of a facial. I start off by steaming my face. Next, I use the brush attachment with the included cleanser--the brush is gentle yet vigorous enough to make you feel squeaky clean. After rinsing, I use the microdermabrasion pad and cream, which works well and is gentle so it's not irritating. I risne the cream off, dry my face, and apply my own mask. When that's done, I rinse and dry off, and use the included toner which is mild and non-drying.Finally, I apply their moisturizer, which feels light and non-greasy, with the rolling head attachment. I don't particularly like this attachment because I find the feeling of hard plastic balls rubbing against my skin unpleasant, especially when going over bony areas like around the temples. So I sometimes skip it and use my fingers. I don't use the suction attachment anymore because it's pretty useless--it does do some suction (enough to leave red marks for a few seconds), but not nearly enough to draw out blackheads or plugs from my oily, problem-prone skin! Nothing beats your own hands for that! I also don't use the mister much because I don't see the point--I think it takes more than a spritz of water to "close" your pores. I only use it to re-wet my face during the microdermabrasion process. At the end of the session, my face feels really clean and relaxed and has a nice healthy glow.

The unit is rechargeable and always has enough power for an entire session. The included carrying case is nice but only holds the heads. There's also a drawstring pouch, but it barely contains the rest and tends to open, so I wish they had a better storage method (but this is minor). I expected the included cleanser and other products to be cheap and poor quality, but they are actually surprisingly good, and not harsh.

All in all, this is a nice kit as long as you don't expect it to be a professional quality facial, and you supplement with some of your own things (like steam and a mask).

Very unhappy with this product!
I had reasonable hopes for this and was very disappointed.After waiting 16 hours for the unit to charge, I found that the variable speeds (lo-hi) were useless--nothing really worked well on the low speed.The built in water sprayer broke immediately.The various attachments work with varying degrees of effectiveness--other reviews are correct in that the suction is useless.After 10 minutes of a very bad attempt at a facial, I threw the entire unit away.SAVE YOUR MONEY!THIS PRODUCT IS INEFFECTIVE!

Not bad at all for the price
I have been trying to reduce my unbelievable stress lately and have been trying to find time to pamper myself.I have bought quite a few Homedics products and have not been disappointed by any of them.I have always done my own facials and really do not understand having professional ones.I do the same thing myself so why pay someone else to do it.However, I have really only done facial masks and creams so I thought I would try this just to add a little more "zest".First, I use only organic products on my face so I did not use any of the creams or other such products that came with the spa kit.It worked just fine with my own products.I did my mask as usual to bring to the surface any toxins and then followed with the all the steps of the spa kit.I did not find the brush too rough--you can apply it to the surface of your face as hard as you like.It is a brush after all and not a feather.It is important to have brushing of the skin as it does increase oxygen and blood flow.Personally I enjoyed the suction as it again did bring toxins to the surface.It is not an extractor so do not expect that.One review said there are no instructions for cleaning.I do not understand what that issue is all about--remove, rinse, and dry.I really did not see why that needed any explanation.And, I did see that "gunk" came out with the suction cups--again, just rinse and that was that!I am not a microdermabrasion specialist but again, the orgainic soap and bamboo powder facial polish I use daily does just fine so I tend to skip this step sometimes.But, again, it did work with my own organic products just fine.Massager really did not do much but it certainly did not hurt or cause damage so why not use it?Since I am not a facial fanatic I really can not say much other than I have not had problems with Homedics products, including this one.I like what it does and have no complaints.Not bad at all for the price so why not take some time and pamper yourself.

Maybe my expectation levels aren't as high as most, but I am quite pleased with this unit.It does everything that I need it to do and does it gently.My skin felt smooth and supple afterwards and even my makeup looks much better.I think it's a great value!

this product is EXCELLENT for anyone who has really dry skin or just wants a moisturizer that doesn't feel greasy and smell.I have migraine headaches and if I put on a moisturizer that has too much perfume I know I'm going to get a very bad migraine.With this product I can put in on everyday and never feel uncomfortable.

Cheap product...beware!!
I used this product for about 2 1/2 months before it crapped out.Now it won't even turn on.I'll admit though it was nice to have under the desk while I worked but now it is a worthless piece of plastic.The heat function is nothing great either.Just a bunch of red LED lights for all I can tell.

If you want to buy a foot massager, it might be worth spending an extra 10 or 20 bucks.Although the HoMedics one when it works, isn't bad for the price...it's really a cheap product and will not last.

I recently decided to indulge myself a little bit.Hey I'm 42 and have been raisng my kids, (and husband) diligently for a long time now.So on my birthday I slurged a bit on Amazon.I bought(and am highly recommending all of these): this amazing foot massager- heaven, singing lessons on CD- Voice Lessons To Go by Vaccarino because I was just tired of hiding my voice when we all would sing in the car, The Artist Way by Cameron so I could feel some sort of creativity for myself again, and the New Sex Now video (well that was for me and my husband).Well, happy happy.We should all splurge on ourselves just a bit sometimes.Aren't we worth it?

This is a great massager.

There's nothing I like better than lounging around and getting a foot massage from my ho-medic while eating a nice ho-made sandwich.

For the price, this product isn't too bad, but don't expect too much from it.The "massage" basically amounts to it vibrating a lot, which can feel somewhat nice, but not as much as I had expected.The unit also doesn't put off much heat at all.You can get more heat from sticking your feet near a light bulb.

However, being able to control the product with my toes was fairly nice, and I do use it occasionally.I just don't think it should have been labeled as a"Pro Ultra."There's nothing really "ultra" about it.

Good product for the money
My husband bought me this massager for my birthday.I'm an elementary school teacher, and my feet are always tired and sore.

In response to a few other reviews here, I must admit that the machine doesn't heat as much as I'd like, and the cord is about a foot too short, but I really do consider this a good value for the price.

The foot pad area is large enough to accommodate feet even bigger than mine (!), and the massager, especially when set on high, hits all the right sopt, just on the bottom of the arch, and that sore spot beneath the toes.After a good 15 minutes of "regular" massage, I like to curl my toes under or contort my feet sideways, to get even more coverage!

No, this isn't a miracle cure for tired feet.But it's a nice, relaxing end to a hard day.I recommend this product to anyone with realistic expectations of its benefits, but who still is willing to take a chance on a nice, relaxing product. ... Read more

Smells Great, but is too waxy/sticky.Body Shop is better.
I really like the Body Shop's "Nut" Body Butter.Unfortunately, it's $17 a tub.Someone suggested that I might like the Tree Hut version, at a fraction of the price.

Like the Body Shop version, the Tree Hut Brazillian Nut butter has a very strong fragarance.They don't smell the same -- the Body Shop version smells to me a bit like baking bread.The Tree Hut product smells more like chocolate chip cookies.

Unfortunately, their TEXTURES are no where near the same.The Body Shop version is creamy and is easly removed from the tub at room temperature.It glides on to your skin in a nice, thin, layer.In contrast, the Tree Hut product seems very waxy.I'd compare it to trying to rub chap stick on your arms/legs.

It's quite hard at room temperature, and is fairly similar to trying to spread too-cold butter onto something.It's sort of lumpy and doesn't glide well.Also, after a few minutes, it doesn't "dry down" the way the Body Shop version does.It leaves your skin somewhat sticky/waxy.

I'm really disappointed because it smells GREAT.But, I'm going back to Body Shop.

Seriously the best lotion I've ever used.Moisturizes well and smells totally yummy.You can buy a similar product from Sephora (Whipped Body Delights,) but Nut Butter is way superior, and you get twice as more for the same price.

This is THE BEST stuff!
This body cream is great - it's rich and goes on smooth, and you don't need tons of it! Also, it smells SO good (everyone I know agrees on this), almost like a mocha (unfortunately it makes me want to eat it!). Definately reccomend!

What dry skin?
Iowa winds and temperature extremes do a number on my skin. I found this product by accident, when I discovered my boyfriend's house to be without moisturizer. It was on the bottom shelf at Wal-Mart and I picked it up because it was one of the few that listed Shea butter in the top three ingredients. I bought it because it smelled like caramel (which happens to be the last ingredient listed). Now I have pots stashed everywhere. It's a shea butter bargain, ringing up just over $5 with tax. It has a great heavy cream texture but body heat melts it almost instantly. Very little residue but an enduring fragrance. Sold on It!
I have never used this product - HOWEVER - I was at a pool party and one of the guests arrived and her skin was GLOWING so beautifully!I did'nt get the chance to ask her what her secret was at the partyso I called her at work the next day and asked what she had used on her skin -- her skin was glowing so beautifully just like you would see in a magazine.She said it weas the Mango Body Butter by Tree Hut and she bought it at Target.

Mango Shea Butter
I have tried this butter and hooked on it. I was sunburned from
working in my garden. I bought some of this and tried it. I never peeled which doesnt happen with me. I always peel.
This butter smells great. You will not find a better skin care item. I use it on my face, hands and sunburn (when it happens)as well as around my eyes.
I receive comments at work that I dont look my age (51). They want to know my secret. It is the mango butter. You will not need all those other items you have been buying. It works and you save counter space as well as money.

Softest Sking / Great Smell
I bought a tub of this Mango Butter sort of as a joke stocking stuffer for Christmas.A dish we love at a friend's restaurant is Tuna Steak w/ Mango Butter.

Well, the smell is exotic!It doesn't go on tuna .....

My wife uses it all the time, and if she doesn't, I ask her.She normally has very dry skin on her knees and calves.With an application of Mango Butter, her skin is shinny, soft, and has a healthy glow.If she gets a small scratch or skin blemish, she swears this makes her skin heal faster.

Best Moisturizer Ever!!!
I have tried many many moisturizing lotions, and this is by far my favorite. It's not too greasy, but it moisturizes well.It's also perfect to put on underneath make up - foundation glides on very well after putting this on (you have to wait for just a minute though for the lotion to seep into your pores).And it's reasonably priced too.

I highly recommend this moisturizer.

Nice and absorbant
I also have eczema, and have most lotions to be ineffective.Usually I use a very heavy cream or something like Vaseline to keep my skin in somewhat good condition, but in the summer these can be sticky and uncomfortable and I always have a sneaking suspicion that bugs are going to stick to my legs.Complex 15 is very light and absorbant, but it still moisturizes very well.It's a little thin for the very worst of my rashes, where the skin is already cracked and thickened, but for the rest of my body I think it works really well.I don't feel sticky at all, and it's non-irritating so I can put more on throughout the day.It's also light enough to use on my face.It absorbs quickly, so I don't have to wait long to add sunscreen.All in all, it's the best thing I've found for overall skin moisturizing for my eczema in the summertime.

wonderful product
I bought this and was very skeptical. I have tried so many products for razor bumps in my bikini area. I never thought i would be able to wear a bathing suit without worrying about the bumps showing. I've used this product almost every day for two years, and I just love it.10 minutes after putting it on, you don't even realize its there because it's light and nongreasy.I don't have sensitive skin, but I will only use this sunblock on my face, since it never makes me feel sticky and gross.

As someone with super sensitive skin and rosacea, I am constantly on the prowl for a moisturizer with sunscreen that won't aggravate my skin. I think I may have found my perfect "stuff"! It's lighter than most, but even my skin (which tends to be a bit drier) felt hydrated by this lotion. The only possible negative so far is, because its made with titanium dioxide, it tends to leave little white streaks if you sweat or go out in the rain. But a simple blot takes care of it!

I'm a girl who NEEDS mechanical foot attention.
I am always begging my boyfriend for a footrub.
I have a great, pedicure place that makes my crazy nail creations last for weeks. I just need a relaxing soak in between.
We're renovating the house. It takes so long to clean the tub for a luke-warm, shallow soak that I consider hosing myself off in the backyard instead.

So I was searching for a little help. And I got it. This is a pretty good little footbath, except a few things. The little rotating massager is in a bad place - there's nowhere to comfortably put your foot to use it. And the pumice stone goes so fast I was scared I'd sharpen my foot like a pencil. That thing burns. I have NO IDEA what the infrared thing is supposed to do.The jets are functional, but don't really expect a massage. The water heater works. The heater is really uneven - you feel it when it kicks on, then coooooool...then hot!

But, the water does get decently warm, and that's good. Easy to carry back and forth to the bathroom. Easy to dump the water. The little rotating pieces are neatly tucked in a storage space. The bottom nubby things are nice to grind your feet along for a sorta massage-y feeling. The water gurgles pleasantly. The dogs really, really, really enjoy getting a few sips out of the thing.

So it's a nice between the pedicure, home renovation stop-gap measure that still doesn't get my boyfriend off the hook for foot massages.

I used it last night for two hours. It really helped with my heal spars.
You have control so you can turn it off and on when you want.
It was just what I was looking for. It warms up the water and keeps it very hot not warm. It's jets are really powerfull and feel great. I was told in the store that this has the best jets and they were right. It also has a pedicure section that is hand free.
My husband used it too and he is at size 13 foot. He loved it as well.
The laser red part was perfect for my sore heals.It applies heat directly on your heal, but you have let it heat up first for 10-15 min.
All in all I was very happy with my buy. It was more then the others, but worth the money. At least I have something to relive the pain for a while and my feet are back to normal.Don't waste your money on anything else.This product is great.

I'm happy with it but there could be some changes
I just recieved my foot spa today and I'm sitting here using it now.My feet are toasty and feeling very pampered right now but there are a few flaws that I have found already.I wanted to really test the foot spa since it said it heats cold water up in 5 mins.I used cold water and it was heated up in 10 mins, so I'm not complaining.But I can't tell what the infared heat is supposed to do for your feet.I don't feel anything from it when I place my foot on the infared area (red area) which is what you are told to do in the manual.I also can't tell the difference in the water jets and the bubble jets.I have tried changing them a few times and they both feel the same to me.

When your water starts to cool off, just turn back on the heater (you have to have the jets on to heat the water up).Right above the infared area (red area that lights up) there is a nozzle for your attachments.When you put an attachment on and press down on it with your foot, it will spin very fast.It actually tickles on the sole of your feet.And right above the nozzle, in the purple area, there is a little cubby hole to put your attachments in.There are convenient pour spots along the top of the unit as well, so you don't have to worry about spilling it all over the place.

Overall, I give it a B+ and my feet are happy!

Rich Cream -- Perfect for "trouble spots" this winter
My hands have been savagely beaten this winter -- they've never been so dry and cracked.I'm a big fan of the Canus Goat's Milk Soap and Lotion so I decided to try this body butter.

Well, my hands are much softer, especially my knuckles and cuticles.It's rich and creamy -- fun to put on because you give yourself a relaxing hand massage as well!

I also had a really dry spot by my knee and this butter has made it all better.

I am not a guy who has ever been into lotions but my wife got some of this product as a gift and I have to say I am sneaking it everyday. My husband used this product after a long six-day week of work, where he's constantly on his feet. It left his feet feeling relaxed and it relieved some of the soreness and aching. It had a nice skin softener and a pleasing aroma. We recommend it for others and would consider purchasing it.

I didn't really expect this product to do much but after soaking my feet I was amazed! Not only were they a lot softer, they felt so much better. It was very relaxing added a silky feel to the water. I've always had foot problems and after running around all day, it did relieve some of the pain. After a little while the pain came back, so the relief was only temporary, but for someone without major foot problems, it might not be temporary. I really liked this product because it made my feet stop aching -- if only for a little while!

Great also for stretch marks
One year ago, two things changed to really dry out my skin:the city to which I moved has a lot of calcium in its water and I became pregnant.In addition to several products I tried, many people recommended sweet almond oil to help my skin and avoid stretch marks.When I discussed this with my dermatologist, he recommended I use Aveeno lotion, as it was a good product and, although no direct studies have been done regarding the link between nut allergies and lotions during pregnancy, he was not sure about the absorbtion of the nut oil into my skin.I was extremely pleased with Aveeno.My skin was always moist, the lotion went on well and left no greasy residue.I have no stretch marks.

"Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion" was recommended to me by my Doctor. Maybe it was due to the unusally winter-like weather we've had here in sunny So. Cal(winter-like to us, anyway) but my skin was so dry this year, that I was using lotions like crazy. I tried so many of them, and within hours I had to reapply. I was always feeling greasy after application. It was like I was oiling up to swim the English Channel or something.

So I gave this one a try. One more to add to the list. The difference was this one actually worked! It says it moisturizes for 24 hours (yeah right!, I thought), and it does. It absorbs quickly, and left my skin feeling much smoother. One tip my Doctor gave me, that I'll pass along is to just barely pat dry after showering, and apply the lotion while still a little wet. That way the lotion will capture the moisture.

The ingredients use an Oatmeal formula and contains the following:Dimethicone 1.25% (Skin Protectant)|Water|Glycerin|Distearyldimonium Chloride|Petrolatum|Isopropyl Palmitate|Cetyl Alcohol|Avena Sativa Kernel Flour (Oat)|Benzyl Alcohol|Sodium Chloride. It is fragrance free and states it will not clog pores.

Now here's the really good part..I bought this in the 12 0z. size at my local market and it cost even more then the 18 0z. size here. So throw it in your cart, and when you need a little more to get to that free shipping,(or buy several) add it to your purchaes.(It doesn't say eligible for free shipping on the product page, but when I added it to my cart, it showed up).

Great for dry, chapped, flaking or windburned skin. Take it with you on sailing or skiing trips. Excellent product and great buy.

An excellent product
I've been using Aveeno for about two weeks and I definitely notice a difference in the look and feel of my skin. I have very dry skin, so dry it cracked. Even after using some of the popular medicated ones, no change. Now my skin feel powdery smooth and best of all no cracks! Finally, a lotion that actually does what it's advertised to do -- I highly recommend it!

Good for Rosacea
I have rosacea and since I burn easily I need a sunscreen. EVERYTHING makes me breakout or burned my skin.I had a basal cell removed from my face a few years ago so I really need sunscreen.

This is the ONLY product that works wtihout any burning or breakouts.It goes on thick and you look like a clown at first, but it is easy to rub in and quickly goes away.

Great Lotion -- Very Gentle and a great size
I love the Canus Goat's Milk Products.I have very dry skin and it has been very harsh in the Northeast this winter.

Moisturel is wonderful for extremely dry, sensitive skin!!
I have tried every lotion/cream I could find on the market, and my Mother's dermatologist recommended this product for her, as she has extremely sensitive skin.This is the only moisturizing cream that gets me through the cold winter without discomfort.Pricey, but you don't need a lot.I only use it once a day after showering. Far superior to Eucerin, and is easier to spread.

The Moisturel Cream worked really well on my dry elbows. I used it once, then after my showers, and then I really didn't have to think about reapplying lotion the rest of the day. I read the label and saw that it was also recommended for use on diaper rash, so I tried it on my two-year-old and while it didn't work as well as a zinc oxide ointment, it left a protective layer. I tried it also on my lips and face, because the label says that it isn't supposed to clog pores. It worked as well as my other lotions for all these uses, aside from the diaper rash ointment, so I think it'd be a good cream to keep on hand and/or travel with. It's very rich and a little goes a long way.

Moisturel Cream is a fragrance-free skin protectant that works as well as they claim it does. I'd recommend this product to all my family and friends. I was amazed to hear that it works on diaper rash, and can't wait to let my daughter try some on my grandson. Very Good Waterproof Sunscreen
This company, Fallence, makes very good sunscreen. You can buy their products from www.totalblock.com, but usually Amazon.com or other online stores sell them with much less prices.

This particular one is my favorite and is one of the very high quality products they make. It is the best for swimming or in a hot weather as it is waterproof. It is colorless and does not have any fragrance. Since I live in Miami and the Sun causes huge stains that must be removed surgically about once a year, this product reduce my problems. I wear this every day. I don't go out of house without it. It is not oily at all and stays on your skin in a very natural manner. There is nothing that causes allergy or skin irritation. You can use this product on very sensitive skin. It is as gentle as putting water on your skin. The active ingredients are only Titanium dioxide and Zinc oxide. In other words there is nothing organic in it.

Cosmetic doctors and dermatologist keep telling me to use this product or other Fallence products, but I was already using them before I was told to do so. It may be more expensive than other product you see in stores, but once I try this product I am not able to go back to the other not-so-good products.
