dangerously delicious
I bought these to help me diet. I eat one Clif bar for bkfst and one for lunch, which helps me control portions. I tried these because of the extra portion, but they failed me because the silky chocolate covering, carmel-like top and overall crunchiness were too good and I ended up eating 2 of them, every time. I'm glad I finished the box and can go back to regular Clif bars, which, though great, are not lip-smacking enough to make me stray from my portion control plan.

Very tasty for a high protein bar
Like most Clif Bar products (Luna etc)these are very tasty. Normally the higher protein bars taste like chalk and chemicals. These are truly more candybar like in taste.. very impressive for a healthy protein fix.Peanut Butter is my fav flavor but the Chocolate is good as well.

Best of the Best
Boy I thought the regular clif bars were great.These builder bars are out of this world!This is the entirely natural, delicious energy, which I prefer at breakfast, or when driving for several hours.Everytime I eat one, my body thanks me :)You can find the bars at lower prices elswhere, such as yahoo, but I shop here all the time too.If you're looking for something nutricious, and really, truly, does taste good, these Clif bars are great.I'm taking a nutrition class right now, and this bar is dynamite.20 grams of protein is about 1/3 the protien you need for the day.Have a deli sandwhich for lunch, some rice or pasta with a chicken breast for dinner, and you have your great tasting diet.I'm in college, and I am overly satisfied with the quality of these bars.The cookies n cream is the best, then chocolate, and finally pb, all of which are good. enjoy. ... Fresh apple flavor.
This is my favorite of the Morning Start Breakfast Bars.Be forewarned that it is probably the sweetest of the Atkins bars--at least of the ones I've had, but that's great if you really NEED something sweet in the morning.It's a slightly crunchy, sweet apple-y kind of bar that's coated with a very sweet white icing (yogurt?)--deliciously with coffee.If you like a danish for breakfast, this is a good choice. ... Good, light low carb bar
This bar is lightly sweet and has a nice granola flavor.It does not seem as 'synthetic' as other low carb bars often do.There is a vanilla coating on the bottom half of the bar, so this snack does not always travel well in the heat!(The coating will melt.)

Many of the bars will leave me with side effects because of the sugar alcohols, and this one was not among them.I was able to maintain ketosis and continue losing weight while having this as a snack.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer; these ARE better than Pay Days!I used to be a Pay Day addict!I'm speaking as an Atkins dieter who's lost 61 lbs. since last Mardi Gras (that's Feb. 24th, 2004 to you yankees).

Very good berry granola bar
This bar is a good, solid granola bar, with berry bits throughout and a vanilla coating on the lower half of the bar.The inclusion of oats and other great ingredients (as well as no trans fats) makes this a tasty snack to fill in a hunger gap.
THe bar does not taste 'synthetic' like a lot of bars--it has a good flavor and mouth feel.You shouldn't have any unwelcome side effects from eating these (I didn't) and most folks will be able to stay in ketosis even with this bar as a treat.

They actually taste like cookies... I'm shocked...
The ingredients, as you can see in the product description, are actually quite good for you, they're about 300 calories, pack a ton of protein, and shockingly, they taste just like chocolate chip cookies. Nor do you need to have a cup of water near you while eating these, because the cookie is large, and isn't dry.

For comparison, it's roughly the size of one of those "Grandma's cookies," and if you've never seen those, or those aren't available in your area, think a 30-40% bigger Chips a Hoy, but much thicker.

Forget what you know about protein cookies
The chocolate chip cookies taste almost like the ones your mother made. Good taste and healthy too is a tough combination to beat.

Wonderful!
This year I have lost 15 pounds and brought my lipids into the normal range for the first time in decades.Being able to have nearly-carb-free creamy chocolate treat like this has been a huge part of why.It feels like a splurge but isn't!The Splenda (tm) sweetener has a bit of a whang at first that you don't notice at all after having a couple of these gems.Best of all, the overall taste of the chocolate is a bit darker than typical milk chocolate, so it tastes more like the very best (IMO) chocolate:Holiday chocolate like you find in Easter bunnies and Christmas Santas or foil-wrapped bells.A bar a day keeps the carbs away!Ain't it grand to live in the 21st century? ...
