SLS free
I tried this product because it is SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) free. SLS is the detergent in almost all toothpastes that create the suds when you brush. However, SLS has been linked to canker sores, and switching to this product has virtually eliminated the problem. Well worth a try.

This product took some time to get used ...
This product took some time to get used to. It was hard on my gums for the first week -- even made them bleed. But after awhile it toughened up my gums, and left excellent, refreshing breath! I'm still using it!

My family has been a regular user of Arm & Hammer toothpaste, but we had never tried the Baking Soda Tooth Powder before. My husband was very impressed with the whitening power of this powder and has already informed me that he'll continue to use it. I have to agree with him, but I really like a foaming action a little better. The powder doesn't foam. I guess we will be a two toothpaste family now!

Cannot get the newest replacement parts readily
I purchased the Oral-B Professional Care 7800 DLX cleaning system. It is great, but the recommended 'Power Tip Brushhead' that my dentist wanted me to get is only in THIS package and not available except online. That is very unfair. This package was pricey enough, although a good product. Now I will have to pay extra to purchase a power tip brushhead for my husband to use since the package only had one in it. And no stores have it stock anywhere.

I'm very pleased with this product. It doesn't have an overpowering mint taste, yet it makes my mouth feel clean and fresh without leaving a medicine type aftertaste. I'm a smoker and found that Listermint really got rid of the smoke taste -- odor too. I used it before my husband came home and he asked me if I was trying to quit smoking again, because he wasn't able to detect smoke on my breath.

Overall, the taste of Listermint is much more pleasant than the Listerine products I generally use. The only thing I wasn't sure of is why it's called antiseptic. It doesn't say antiseptic anywhere on the bottle and it's alcohol free. I'd say that if you want fresh breath, Listermint works very well. If you want to kill germs and fight decay, you may want to stay with other Listerine products.

The best toothpaste ever!
Who ever thought I'd be writing a review for a toothpaste!I hate to say it but I've never liked toothpaste.Since childhood, and until now, I've brushed my teeth because I *have* to.I'm not a great lover of mint and the smell of all these minty fresh toothpastes tend to make me nauseous.I bought Aquafresh Extreme Clean just to check it out and WOW am I glad I did.The citrusy taste is...may I say...enjoyable.The unique microfoaming action fills and cleans your whole mouth, and the tingling after effect keeps your mouth feeling fresh and clean for hours.This toothpaste makes me want to clean my teeth at every opportunity.I love it.

A toothpaste that really stands out
It's not often I would go online to research a toothpaste after using it.. after all, it's just toothpaste.. but this is about the most unique toothpaste you will ever stumble across. The citrus taste is very unique and enjoyable, and the microfoaming effect is unlike anything you will see in other toothpastes.. this stuff finds it's way to the back of your throat to freshen all parts of your mouth effortlessly, and the effects last a long time. It really is an enjoyable brushing experience. Definitely worth a try.

Fantastic foam!
This was a random buy that I made, and as a toothpaste, it took a little getting used to.I had never tried a foaming toothpaste before and the feeling of having my entire mouth filled with this stuff was strange.The citrus flavor was also unique, but I've found that I like it much more than the typical mint flavored toothpaste.Even though it was a bit strage at first, it is now my favorite toothpaste.It works wonders on my bad breath.My mouth still feels like I just brushed my teeth an hour later!

As for the design, I really like the cap.It is wide and flat so you can stand the tube up vertically, instead of having it take up a lot of space.Also, I haven't had the problem of the toothpaste getting all over the cap, which sometimes happens with the smaller ones.

Stains worse than most
I use a new-fangled electric toothbrush (I'd tell you which kind, but they're not paying me for free advertising!).Well, as most of you electric brushers already know, the toothpaste kind of sprays out all over everything you're wearing.I have taken to brushing my teeth topless, because I can simply wipe my breasts off afterwards.What I have found with this Aquafresh Extreme Clean, it stains clothing more indelibly than my beloved Crest (oops, didn't mean to give 'em a plug, but I love their product).Plus the orange flavor makes me gag.

Great flavor!
The great thing about this toothpaste is the flavor. No mint! Mint flavor, especially in the morning, makes me nauseated. This toothpaste has a very light citrus taste (I called the comments and questions number to comfirm my suspicions about the taste), which makes brushing tolerable. It leaves your mouth feeling clean without an overwhelming burn in your mouth. As to the foaming, it's a little above average, doing just what all other 'foaming' toothpastes do.

The packaging is a little different, and I find the less than average lid to be annoying, but you can't ask for miracles. Definitely my favorite toothpaste! ... Read more

Like Big Red Gum!
I like this cinnamon tooth paste. It tastes like Big Red cinnamon flavored gum and tastes really good and is spicy just like the gum.

I don't mean to sound like a cheesy commercial, but this toothpaste has actually made brushing my teeth fun!The hot cinnamon flavor almost seems to tingle in my mouth, and the toothpaste is fairly easy to squeeze out without making a mess in the sink.To me, it's like chewing Big Red bubble gum that cleans your teeth!I'd never seen cinnamon flavor toothpaste before, but I now know that it's my favorite flavor, and I'm going to buy it again once this container runs out.

it's the best toothpaste I've found so far.The flavor isn't too strong, but it leaves my mouth feeling and smelling fresh.My favorite feature, however, is the consistency of this toothpaste.It's not too runny, but it's thin enough that you're not left with clumps of toothpaste on your brush or in the sink.To me, that means less waste and better value (and less scrubbing in the sink!)

food packing pockets-cleaning
Since I had some crown work I have a food packing pocket between two teeth that needs cleaning out each time I eat something. These are far superior in shape to toothpicks for this and I find them essential to avoid infection. For some they may only be a floss substitute but for others they serve a very different and necessary function. Getting hard to find locally as Walgeen's and local supermarkets no longer seem to carry them.

I think the name in this product is misleading and that it shouldn't be billed as a plaque remover. If you want something to carry on you for the times when brushing and flossing aren't convenient, then these are great. The ""plaque removers"" are in a small, easy to carry pack and are similar to a toothpick but stronger and won't splinter. But I wouldn't count on these to use as plaque removers -- use your toothbrush and dental floss to aid in that. I'll carry these to use as a toothpick, but not a something to use as a plaque remover.

The Stimudent Plaque Removers are like a high-tech version of dental floss. They're packaged much like a matchbook, so they're easy to slip into your pocket. The cinnamon flavoring is pretty mild, if not undetectable. They are definitely easier and more fun to use than dental floss, but not much classier. You're still going to have to slip off somewhere private to pick your lunch out of your teeth. I don't have braces, but can imagine they would be a lifesaver over dental floss in that situation. The one drawback is that the picks are not terribly strong, and it may take more than one. They are gentle on your gums though. In general I'd recommend this product, especially to someone with braces/orthodontics.

Was a great product
I really used to like the Altoids.All the flavors were nice
and strong, and had a nice kick.Recently the manufacturer has begum adding corn syrup solids or some "corn" product, and since i'm allergic to corn, I've had to stop using them.
Bummer.

My Beer Drinking Pal Sucks on these Like Candy
All right, is it a breath mint or some kind of crazy foreign candy? Do people really suck on these things that taste like Dentine on steroids. They do, what's more there are people that swear by them. In fact I know a guy who stops off at a topless place (we still have places like that in Reno) every night and has a beer or two while he watches the girls, maybe gets a lap dance. He swears by these things, better than rancid beef jerky, he says, for wiping away the foamy taste of the brew he'd been drinking, while he was lusting with his eyes, his heart and other parts of his body, as well.

I have another friend who actually likes these things, gobbles them as if they really were candy and I've often wondered why I can smell the cinnamon on his breath, while my beer drinking buddy has breath fresh as a newborn's. Maybe the beer is a requirement before popping one of these cinnamon flavored doodads into your mouth.

So I guess the bottom line here is if you're doing something where the taste of booze on your breath might not be a good thing, like driving, for example, then maybe you should have these things handy, but if you're not, well then you're not, but you can eat 'em, suck on 'em, roll 'em around in your mouth anyway if you please, if you don't mind smelling like a case of dentine. Just tell people your British, offer them one of these and pretend that you have class. Who knows, you might even fool 'em.

Wintergreen is my favorite flavor
Called "Frozen Tongue" this was the second flavored released by ALTOIDS in 1998.

ALTOIDS mints were first produced in England at the turn of the 19th century during the reign of King George III.

Ingredients: sugar, artificial flavor, gum Arabic, gelatin, corn syrup, natural flavor.

My first encounter with wintergreen was in a heat rub (I smelled it but did not eat it.) Then I found it in some circular candy with a hole in the middle. Now I keep a tin of ALTOIDS at work, home and in the car.

Altoids: Curiously Strong Mint and/or Modern Urban Legend?
Like many people I never paid attention to Altoids, the curiously strong mints made in Great Britain by Callard & Bowser, until Kenneth Starr made his report and covered events that allegedly occurred November 13, 1997 in the study of the White House between President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.However, the Starr Report was not able to offer any insights on Altoids since all that happened on that date involved an antique paperweight in the shape of the White House.However, I did find an informal poll conducted by David Emery of Urban Legends and Folklore produced the following results:

38% have tried it and say that it works;
8% have tried it and say that it is no big deal;
27% have never tried it but think that it would work;
15% have never tried it and think it would not work; and
10% wish the subject had never been brought up.

Please note that there was no distinction made in the original e-mail, the conversation at the White House, or this informal poll between the Wintergreen and the Peppermints varieties of Altoids.However, if you discount those who have never tried Altoids, even for its originally intended purpose, 81% of the respondents to this informal poll were able to render a favorable verdict.That is not a bad statistical result, even given that the sample is totally random and that you have to account for variables (e.g., size of the mint being used).

Then you add to this mix the idea that these really are curiously strong mints.Granted, they are not a taste that can be acquired by one and all, because they are intense, but given the mild mints that we had to put up before Altoids made its way across the pond this is a vast improvement.These are just as strong as they claim to be on the tin.

Wow
I would consider myself a bit OCD when it comes to oral hygiene, flossing daily and typically brushing 3 times over in a brushing.My usual routine goes as follows:Brush w/o toothpaste to loosen stuff, rinse with Plax, then brush 2 times with toothpaste.This is the only way my mouth feels clean.

I recently noticed an area where the gum line has receded due to my agressive brushing so I decided to get the Ultrasonix (since I'd be less likely to cause more damage).I received it yesterday and had the chance to use it today- my teeth have only felt this clean leaving the dentist office.I would highly recommend this product.I can't honestly compare it to any other electric toothbrush from experiance, only convential brushes but this seems to be the most advanced one out there and also is priced better than the Sonicare brush.I normally don't write reviews but I was so impressed with product I just had to share.

Simply the best right now.
Just used this thing this morning and oh boy...feel like I just get my teeth cleaned by the dentist. I've been using Panasonic sonic toothbrush for over a year now and this Oral B Sonic Complete is way better. Faster speed then Panasonic. A bit heavier though and the "on"switch should have been positioned better. I keep hitting the "on" swith while using this thing.
