1-0 out of 5 stars Monumentally disappointed
I was one of the lucky ones, I got eight months and two weeks use from my Waterpik WP-65 Personal Dental Water Jet.It works great, for a while.I plan on buying another oral irrigatorbut definitely NOT a Waterpik brand! This is also very loud which could be an issue for apartment dwellers.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stopped working after a few months
I had the original, and it worked for many year. Did wonders for my gums. I was hoping to get the same quality product. However, after a few months the pump Stopped working.

1-0 out of 5 stars Waterpik WP-65
It never worked! Now I'm trying to return it for repairs......

1-0 out of 5 stars Another defective Waterpik WP-65
From the start mine has worked only intermittently.Very frustrating.

1-0 out of 5 stars BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!A LEMON FOR LEMMINGS
I went to amazon to order another Waterpik system(foolish me)and I just thought I'd check the customer reviews.Virtually EVERYONE has had the same experience as me.You get it home, it works for a week or two (if your lucky) and then it fails.I actually didn't get more than a couple of uses out of it.I just assumed that I got the odd lemon but obviously this company is marketing something that IS NOT RIGHT and yet it's amazing if you read the reviews how many people still come back to give them another chance.Beside the product being a LEMON we must be LEMMINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!Don't jump, go elsewhere....someone mentioned that Panasonic has it's own oral irrigator.........Good Luck. ... Amazon.com Review

Relief from allergies and nasal congestion is just a rinse away with this sinus rinse attachment. Compatible with all Waterpik irrigators, the jet tip comes with a soft nasal bulb that is inserted gently into one nostril. The user leans over a sink while a warm saline solution enters and cleans the nostril, then flows out the other one. Holding the tongue against the roof of the mouth guides the drainage out the nose instead of into the mouth. Effective and easy to use, the technique adds natural moisture to sinus membranes. The set includes one nasal bulb and two jet tips, each fitting certain irrigator models. --Ann Bieri ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Item to wake up to
I use this sinus rinse every morning that I feel congested; it clears the sinus and nasal passages very efficiently. I mix 'morton non-iodized salt' and warm tap water right in the waterpik reservoir easily.
The person who complained of a 'trip to the hospital' obviously mistakenly stuck their 'high-pressure dental attachment' up their nose instead of this gentle sinus rinse.
The person who complained that it didn't fit their unit is not the owner of a Teledyne WaterPik Brand, but probably owns another Brand (perhaps Hydrofloss or Panasonic brands).
If one follows the instructions carefully, one can obtain great relief from sinus irritation and discomfort. Don't be afraid of this concept; water gently flows and fills-up one nostril, then floods-over and drips out the other nostril.

1-0 out of 5 stars Dangerous item - Do not use
This item resulted in a trip to the hospital.Word of advice for nasal irrigation only order the Original Sinus irrigatorproducts or the Hydro Pulse Sinus Irrigator both of which are FDA registered specifically for sinus irrigation.Do not use a Water Pik on your Nose - Never , Never, Never!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Rip-off
This item is a total rip-off as far as I am concerned. It did not state in the ad or anywhere ,as I was placing the order, that it doesn't work on all waterpik's. In fact it claims it DOES work on all Waterpik's. Neither of the things work on the appliance I got asa gift. Waterpik apparently doesn't have an email address, so can not contact them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good product
The person who wrote the negative review above (delisonhb) is actually a person who sells the brand they mentioned in their review on Ebay!I cannot believe that they did that to promote their own sales!!!How sad to do that when this is the best thing around for allergy, chronic sinusitis, hayfever and asthma.Even if you are just prone to the common cold, this helps to end the sinus part of it quickly (and sometimes that ends the cold too, let me tell you).Go ahead, buy one and you'll be as happy with yours as me and my family (and our extended families of sibs and parents) are with ours. :)And if you don't believe me, just look into the lastest medical findings that were published within the past year!

4-0 out of 5 stars Relief from sinus infections
I have had chronic sinus infections for years. I was finally able to get out of that cycle by using this system of sinus irrigation. It is kind of gross at first, but if you do it consistently for several weeks, then just occaisionally if you feel something coming on, it is quite effective. It will even reduce the number of colds you get!
My only complaint is that the tip will fit only the water pik brand, and not others. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars It hurts and sparkles.
This brush head really isn't that different from the other Crest Spin Brush Pro brush heads. The only difference I have experienced is that the bristles have pretty sparkles in them, and there is a rubber scrapper in the head.

It claims to whiten teeth, probably with the scrapper, but it really just irritates mine. Don't use it if you have sensitive teeth, like I do.

I did not notice any whitening, and neither did my friends. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Among the best floss available
I have relatively tight teeth (esp. the back molars) and most normal floss would shred back there.About 6 years ago, my dentist recommended that I switch over to Glide floss, which at the time was a god-send.Glide made flossing rather quick work to remove food particles between my teeth without shredding (it's strongest advantage). After some years of use with Glide, I felt that it didn't leave my mouth as clean as the traditional floss (which has some "roughness" to it and would polish teeth as well as removing large food particles, but with very low shred resistance).

By chance, I happened to try out some Reach Flouride Woven Floss, and this product is a very good compromise between cleaning/polishing in-between teeth (normal floss) and shred-resistance (Glide floss). The Reach Flouride WOVEN floss (note the term "WOVEN" as the differentiator from their normal line) looks like an unraveled piece of willowy cotton when unstressed, however, when pulled taut it assumes a very traditional thin thread-like normal floss appearance. It works very well in-between my tight teeth (just about as good as normal "non-woven" floss), leaves them feeling minty clean (along w/ flouride protection), and has about 80% of the shred-resistance of Glide floss.Given the very excellent cleaning properties and relatively good shred-resistance, this Reach Flouride WOVEN floss has won me over.

I should also note that as of this time, there is also a Reach Mint WOVEN floss as well.I haven't tried it yet, but as the Reach Flouride WOVEN floss is rather minty already and has added flouride content, I'll be sticking with this excellent current product. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Lighter and Brighter, but not exactly Whiter
I should start by mentioning that my teeth weren't very stained to begin with; they are more of an off-white colour. I have tried many of the inexpensive drugstore whitening products, from gum to toothpaste, with no real results. Reluctant to pay hundreds of dollars to have my teeth professionally whitened by a dentist, I tried this product as a last resort in the hope of attaining the "as seen on TV brilliant white smile," with the product's promise of "Visible Results in 7 Days."

I used this product exactly according to the directions: twice a day for 1/2 an hour each time. While I found the strips for my top teeth easy to use, the bottom strips were difficult to remove from the backing, becoming easily twisted. Moreover, once I finally got the bottom strip straightened out and applied to my teeth (all while getting the gel all over my fingers), it tended to slide around a great deal and would not stay in place, especially if I had to talk (That said, once the strips are in place, I would recommend keeping your jaw very still!). I was also somewhat disappointed that the bottom strip covered only the front 4 teeth entirely, with the corner teeth only partically covered. I would have hoped it would extend at least to either side of my mouth. Finally, I have to say there was a bit of discomfort during the first few days of treatment, just as the product cautioned. I would describe it as a "stinging" of my gums. However, after about the 3rd day, the stinging subsided.

As for the whitening results, after the first 3 days, I did notice a slight lightening of my teeth, especially the top. However, it was nowhere close to the brilliant white results shown on the TV commericals. Now, after the full 7 days, I can report that while my teeth certainly aren't sparkling white, they are brighter--perhaps 1 shade lighter than when I started--and some of the very slight staining I did have near the gumline has lightened to the point that it blends in with the rest of the tooth. While I didn't obtain the brilliant white TV smile I wanted, I did see an overall lightening of my teeth.

Final thoughts: If you are hoping to obtain one of the bright white smiles all the stars are sporting these days, you will not achieve those results with this product. You'll have to go to your dentist, as I'll probably end up doing once I come into some money. However, as the product promises, the results you do obtain are indeed visible. You can brighten your smile several shades, and the strips do remove (or at least lighten) some staining on the teeth. I would expect someone with more staining on their teeth than I had would have ever more noticeable results with the strips. I would certainly recommend this product to someone hoping to lighten their teeth and make coffee, tea or tobacco stains less visible, however I would not recommend it to someone expecting professional whitening results.

4-0 out of 5 stars Really Works!
Im on my 7th day of using the strips and i can already see a dramatic difference, my teeth were never really that discolored to begin w/ but i just wanted a much whiter smile, like what u see on tv, i mean who doesnt, these strips really do work, i did have a bit of sensitivity on the 2nd and 3rd day of using them but not while they were on my teeth it was a few hours after i had used them my teeth began to hurt really bad but it went away the next day, by no means is the pain permanent, pain is beauty anyways, right ladies :D youve gotta go thru some pain once in a while if u wanna look beautiful, so id really recommend these to any1 who is looking for a whiter smile

2-0 out of 5 stars Owwweeeee!!!!!
Where to start?Did they whiten?Well - kind of - I wasn't able to tell because I wasn't able to COMPLETE THE PACK!
They say that people with sensitive teeth may experience harmless tingling while using these strips. What they SHOULD say is that people with sensitive teeth will be in SHEER AGONY after using them for a day and a half!!!!!!!!!!This morning I used my fourth application (top and bottom), and half an hour after using it I was having lightning strikes zipping up and down ALL of my teeth that the strips had been in contact with. Now - 7 hours after using them - my teeth still hurt and I have decided to discontinue use of the strips.
Apart from the anguish and agony they cause to those with even moderately sensitive teeth, they have yet more caveats. The strips are very thin and if you're not careful you will lose your first set by handling them too clumsily and getting them skewed on the application backing. They are also cut weirdly - so it looks as if the factory cutter they use has almost missed the one for lower teeth. But it hasn't - because all of them are like that.
They are also VERY hard to fit unless you already *have* perfect teeth.I guess it's my fault for not having straight teeth - but surely they could have come up with something that conforms to the mouth more easily??You're guaranteed to get them wrinkled and bunched while trying to get the wrapped around your teeth.
The peroxide that they use smells bad.
Oh - and these strips don't "lift off stains" like magic - as advertised. They are merely bleaching strips - and all you are doing is bleaching your teeth with a gel that is on the strips. They are not very groundbreaking for all the hype.
Now.....to go and buy some Sensodyne Toothpaste and a soft-bristled toothbrush......it's actually *cost* me more money to rectify the pain in my teeth.

5-0 out of 5 stars These will make dentists obsolete!
These things are great! I have been using them for almost two years, and I have not had a single cavity, and I have saved hundreds in dentists bills. I only wish they made them in a larger size, because i have fairly large teeth, and in order to cover those "fangs" or whatever those teeth are (you know what i mean), i have to use the extra white-strip stuff that normally stays on the plastic backing. Also, I agree with the other reviewer to not get the whitening goo on your hands, it will make them white too. Also, you have to be very careful not to swallow these, I almost did once. And these white strips are for people only, pets will not tolerate them, and I don't think there are white strips available for pets.

1-0 out of 5 stars DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
First of all, after 7 days (really only 6 cause one set of strips were wasted) there was some white 'spots' on my teeth and if you look closely...they look very strange. Now I need to go and get another product or see a dentist. Second, the strips are awful fit and use. They just dont stay in place. I wasted 2 sets because they fell off and wouldnt go back on. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS PRODUCT.I have already asked Crest for my money back..which is a hassle unto itself. ... Read more

By combining 31,000 brush strokes per minute and gentle sonic waves, Sonicare electric toothbrushes scrub away decay-causing plaque from between teeth and along gum lines better than ordinary toothbrushes. 5-0 out of 5 stars Sonicare is riding the wave of the future
The biggest complaint I hear from people about electric tootbrushes is that the replacement heads are too expensive. Come now, that was the type of thinking that would have killed the Industrial Revolution!

For anyone who really cares about dental hygeine or even just the way they look to other people, you can't not use an electric toothbrush anymore. I laughed at the idea at first, but once I began using one I will never be able to use a regular toothbrush again without feeling like my mouth isn't clean. When you go to the dentist--what type of toothbrush does he/she use on you? Electric--for a reason, because it cleans better.

The marginally higher cost of replacing the heads rather than buying an entirely new disposable toothbrush is insignificant when you actually feel as clean as you can when you use an electric brush. Personal dental care has evolved to the next step, and you don't want to be caught be the last person using a slide ruler because you were too frugal to purchase the more expensive but more effective calculator.

Your teeth (and anyone who comes in contact with them) will thank you.

5-0 out of 5 stars A big difference for your teeth
I used to laugh at friends who told me about their electric toothbrushes, figuring they were just lazy to use regular ones. When I got the sonicare toothbrush, I was amazed at how well and thoroughly it cleaned my teeth. Plus, the timer helps ensure you do a thorough cleaning rather than just brush for a couple of seconds. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Captive Audience for High Prices
My daughter loves the princesses and this brush has inspired better brushing ... BUT I feel gouged by the high price of refills. Also I'm finding these specific refills harder to find now that they've come out with their "new" princess brush. This is very frustrating. The new brush is much bigger -- too big for small 6-year old mouths and too large for small hands to hold. By the time she's big enough to use it, she'll be out of the princess phase.Braun should at least continue to sell the refills even as they're phasing out the old brush -- otherwise customers feel doubly cheated.

4-0 out of 5 stars expensive for a reason
Yes, this is expensive, relative to the other Oral B brushheads.Why?1) You're paying for Disney's licensing fees, just like for all the other Disney products made for kids (and adults.)2)It costs a little more to manufacture the feathered bristles they use for this brush head.If you're not familiar with what that is, look closely at the "business end" of the bristles and compare them to the adult Oral B brush heads.

It's also possible that because they sell fewer of these, they have to spread their fixed costs among fewer units sold. But that's only a guess.

2-0 out of 5 stars Way too much money for a refill
I agree with the other person about the cost. It's ridiculous how much the refill is.My daughter needs to use an electric toothbrush but it doesn't have to be Oral B.I'm going to be looking into another brand that will be more cost friendly in the long run.

2-0 out of 5 stars Overpriced
A good toothbrush system, our daughter loves it. Now that we have itwhy do we have to pay $6for a refill?that is half the price to purchase the brush.$6 should buy a three pac. We picked your toothbrush for our children Oral B, now that they love it why are you gouging us? ... Read more

Ultrasonex toothbrush users find that this ultrasonic toothbrush continues to bust through plaque and maintain clean teeth between trips to the dentist. However, to get the full cleaning effect, you’ll need to remember to replace the brush head when bristles begin to look bent and worn. This three-pack of replacement brush heads stores in the medicine cabinet until you need it. All brush heads are regular-sized, offering a longer head and flat rows of bristles, and easily attach onto the end of any Ultrasonex toothbrush model. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Cleans great!
My dental hygenist suggested this brush to me about a year and a half ago. Used daily along with regular flossing, my gums are quite healthy today and my teeth are whiter too. I like the brush because it's easy to clean (I do it weekly), easy to travel with and my teeth feel cleaner than possible with a manual toothbrush. Plus the beeps ensure that your whole mouth gets brushed for an adequate length of time. The brush shuts off after 2 minutes. However, if you want to brush longer, simply turn the brush on again.

The brush is great. Since the electric motion can better get in between teeth and to some degree, under the gum line, regular use will improve your dental health. You should still floss daily and eat your fruits and veggies for optimal gum health.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth Every Penny - Highly Recommended
Like other reviewers here, I recently found out I'd been brushing my teeth too hard and that my gums were receding. The hygienist suggested a Sonicare brush, which is what she used at home. I took her advice, and my teeth have never felt better. It was easy to adjust to the feel of this brush. It's almost impossible to brush too hard, since you really let the brush do the work for you.

I like the battery status meter and the pacing beeps every 30 seconds that remind me not to over-brush. The Sonicare is light and compact and the charger doesn't take up too much room in my crowded bathroom. I recommend the Sonicare very highly to anyone who wants to spend less time in the dentist's chair (and I think that includes just about everyone.)

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product!
With the electric toothbrush market still trying to catch up with Sonicare this brush has it all.It even comes with a travel case that allows the brush to seperate and fit in to accompany you on a trip. The battery life in the 7800 will last for at least 7 days on each charge so no need to charge it everyday or bring your charger on a short trip. The 7800 model comes with a 2 year warranty and not the one year that comes with other versions - thats how confident Sonicare is that this is the best toothbrush on the market.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
This toothbrush is awesome. I had no problems adjusting to it and I'm not wasting time brushing my teeth with the quadpacer timer. It's very efficient. I was always brushing too hard, causing my gums to receed. But this brush makes it much easier to apply fingertip pressure. The travel case is great too. I can take it with me safely on trips and I don't need the recharger at all. Now my teeth don't feel clean unless I use it! It's more compact than older models too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product
I brought this after reading the reviews on amazon and after I needed to replace my braun electric toothbrush. I am delighted with the sonicare! It cleans noticably better than the braun, the proof is in the color of my teeth-definitely brighter and whiter! Go for this toothbrush, you won't be disappointed! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An easy, safe, effective way to brush
Dentists all over the country are recommending the Oral-B electric toothbrush. There are several reasons. It does the work for you, vibrating thousands of times a second, massaging your gums, it lets you clean your teeth without scraping your gums with a toothbrush, which can cause them to recede and bleed, and it reaches between your teeth to catch plaque and germs. This is a wonderful toothbrush, and I recommend it.However, if you want a review of a toothbrush, you'll read the toothbrush page. This is a page for replacement heads.

There's a lot of confusion about replacement heads for Oral B electric toothbrushes on Amazon, and I just want to give you all some facts. There are only three kinds of heads for ALL Oral-B electric toothbrushes.Flexisoft EB17, Extrasoft EB17, and Ortho OD17.I prefer Flexisoft EB17, which is what this item is. (The Extrasoft is a little too soft, and the Ortho is overpriced)

The reason I mention this is that the prices are all over the board for what is the same product. For example, this listing is for four Flexisoft EB17 heads for $12.99 (The EB17-4 just means there are four of them). There are other offers through Amazon partners for this exact same item for up to $24.99.Make sure you find the best deal, because they're all the exact same product, listed multiple times at different prices!Currently, this listing is the best price for this item, but it might not always be in the future. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Overpowering taste in smaller doses
The ads for Listerine Cool Mint mouthwash strips push two ideas:it's effective at improving your breath, and it takes guts to use the product as long as it should be used. The taste is good but overpowering, and almost makes my eyes water. The mouthwash strips seem effective with my breath, and are easier to handle than a jolt of the liquid version, but they are still hard to take.

When in search of fresher breath and less offense,
Listerine's efficacy needs no defense;
but the orange/citrus flavor might well be better,
for those of us to whom taste does metter.
