Pain, pain, and more pain
I waited for these to go on sale, and when they finally did, I took my $7 off coupon and raced to the store.I had used the original version of these a few years ago, and had remembered getting decent results, so I thought this version would be even better.
Was it?Well I can't say because I was only able to use them twice before the pain got to be so intense that I could not even drink cold water, or eat anything warm.It was awful.The pain does not occur just around the time you're wearing the strip.It occurs all day long.And not to mention that you end up swallowing much of the gel because the strips make you salivate more than normal.So not only are they painful, but they're also a pain to use.I do NOT recommend these.Try the original version (I don't remember having pain from those). ... Messy and Not Effective
I was a little low on cash, so I avoided the Crest White Strips, and got the Crest Simply White. It is definatly not worth it! I painted it on my teeth, like it said to do, and plastered my mouth into an overly large grin to keep my lips from touching my teeth. It claims that it dries in 30 seconds, but I found it to be more like over 5 minutes. It is a pain! And when you do close your mouth at the recommended 30 seconds, it just wipes off on your gums, lips, and tongue, so there is barely any actually left on your teeth. Plus, the stuff that gets caught on your lips and tongue tastes horrible. Later I tried the white strips....much better!

Did not whiten my teeth
I followed the instructions of this product and saw no noticable difference in whiteness after 14 days.Since it did not do what it was supposed to, I don't recommend it.

Where is the white??

I think it is hard because you never know if it is dry so you can let your lips touch it.I haven't noticed any change at all!! Okay, so I picked this product because it slightly cheaper than the Crest Whitestrips and because I was new to this.It was easy to apply and doesn't require 30 min.However, the down side was the dripping gel/saliva mixture that I ended up swallowing or else having a trail of saliva.This reason, along with the taste discouraged me to continue through the 14 days.I would find myself forgetting.I noticed very slight changes after a week or so. ... Great auxiliary product for tooth care
This is an excellent dental care product that cleans your teeth and gums really well *near* the gum line areas.However, it is hardly a "replacement" for floss, since -- unless you have very large gaps between your teeth -- it cannot possibly clean between the upper inter-dental portions of your teeth as floss can.

I LOVE IT!
I just got the flosser (see below) It was recommended to me by my dentist b/c I havepermanent retainer glued behind my lower teeth.It is so easy to use, rather than trying to use a threader to weave through my retainer, only to have the floss shred there and bug me all day.Unfortunately, rather than deal with these problems, I often opted not to floss as often as I should.

Not terrible, but certainly not great.
I purchased this item a few months back and used it til the bottle was dry. I really didn't notice a whitening in my teeth nor did my friends. It makes sense to me in a way because there is nothing to protect the gel that you put on your teeth. Just seems to be "washed" away in a matter of minutes.

Maybe it will work greatly on someone else, but as for myself I wish I had my $10 back. :-)

much nicer than original simply white and effective!
I bought this product because I had used the Simply WHite last year and it started whitening my teeth, but then I had to travel and I didn't keep it up for the 14 days.
These are the reasons it is WAY better than the original Simply White.
1)Use only once a day before bed instead of twice a day.
2)You don't have to keep you teeth dry to use this version, they say it dries quickly and it does.No need to worry about not salivating since it's impossible anyway.
3)It doesn't tast half bad.Not something to eat certainly, but the little bit I taste at night is fine.The original was like you just put drain cleaner in your mouth.

As for whitening, I've been using it for 10 days now and my teeth are whiter.Not brilliant like I just had them bleached or anything, but noticably whiter when I smile.FOr the price and the ease of use I would recommend this for anyone wanting whiter teeth without a lot of fuss.

Excellent Product!
Overall, I have been quite pleased with this product as it gave me noticeably whiter teeth.I have given this product to several of my friends, and they have all had good results.(I am not affiliated with the company in any way.)

Advantages:
(1) One of the cheapest whitening products on the market.
(2) Easy to use .
(You do not need to keep your mouth perfectly dry while using the gel.The previous reviewer was confused.)
(3) Only whiten the teeth you want
(Unlike a strip with a gel you can control which teeth you whiten)
(4) You do not have to sleep with strips in your mouth
(5) THE PRODUCT WORKS WHEN YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.
The instructions say to use the product once a day for 14 days.The negative reviewer only used the product for "a few days".

Disadvantage:
(1) This product does not work for everyone.This product, like all over the counter whitening products, only whitens yellow teeth and does not whiten grey teeth.

Cheap but not at all effective
Whilst in America I decided to purchase a tooth whitening product (because whitening products with peroxide in the aren't publicly sold in the UK). This particular product caught my eye because of the price and the claim that it is easy to use.
I did not find it easy to use at all. It is very hard to keep your mouth dry while applying the gel and you'll find that it just runs off with the saliva. Once I had "invented" a way to keep my mouth dry (by putting tissue paper under my tongue) I still didn't notice any whitening. I continued using it for a few days but gave up because my teeth weren't whitening at all. I recently purchased Crest Whitestrips and they are ten times better than Colgate Simply White Night. I am only half way through the treatment and my teeth are already noticeably whiter and they only cost a few dollars more. So take my advice, buy Crest Whitestrips instead of this poor product. ...
