KEEPS TEETH BRIGHT BOTH DAY AND NIGHT

As GoSmile AM and PM are among my favorite whitening toothpastes, I was delighted to find these ampoules. What an easy and efficient way to keep teeth at their whitest throughout the day!

The two inch long ampoules are pencil slim and come in a sleekly modern silver compact. A breeze to use, you simply remove the ampoule from its paper container and flip it over so that the applicator brush is facing up. Slide the paper container over the bottom of the ampoule and squeeze. This motion will saturate the brush with the whitening gel. Then brush with a circular motion on your teeth. Now, smile!

Each ampoule is a single dosage, so you just use it and throw it away. The compact holds 7 ampoules. My compact and refills go with me on trips, while I just pop an ampoule into my purse if I'll only be out for the day.

If you share my enjoyment of coffee and red wine you'll soon find these indispensable. In addition to whitening, the ampoule leaves your mouth with a refreshing mint taste.

DO NOT USE THIS STUFF!
I just tried this stuff tonight. I had never used any over-the-counter teeth whitening products before. Even as I was taking the box off the shelf, I was thinking that anything that cost less than ten bucks and claimed to whiten your teeth in five minutes had to be some pretty caustic stuff.

I should have trusted my instincts. I followed the instructions on the box carefully. Immediately after inserting the gel-covered mouthpiece, my gums began to burn. I was worried at first, but the burning subsided a little, so I stuck it out.

After about ten minutes (the box recommends 5-15), I removed the mouthpiece. Immediately, my teeth began aching - a very strange and unpleasant sensation. I rinsed out my mouth thoroughly, and looked in the mirror to see how things had worked out.

My teeth had lightened half a shade, but I was horrified to see that my gums were covered with puffy, blotchy, angry-looking white blisters. When I run my tongue over my teeth, they feel rougher than usual, as if the enamel has been bleached off.

The blisters did fade a little after 15 minutes or so. If they hadn't, I was fully prepared to schedule an emergency trip to the dentist - that's how freaky this was. And the instructions say to use this stuff twice a day for two weeks!

I read the entire box, and it mentions nothing about any of these effects.

Anyway, this is one of the scariest personal care products I've had the misfortune to use. I am so dissatisfied with this product that I felt obligated to come here and warn others to avoid it. I can't vouch for any of the other teeth-whitening products on the market, but they certainly can't be any *worse* than this stuff.

Why upgrade to this bulky product? Why contend with hard to find and expensive toothpaste? Why limit your toothpaste choices? Why pay so much?

Listen, just buy better Oral B product which are superior and smaller.

Want proof? Reputable 3rd party Cochrane study state that Oral B's rotating brush are better! Not only that the replacement brushes are much cheaper than Sonicare!

I returned mine to my dentist and got Oral B instead and very impressed with it!You're supposed to replace brush often and Sonicare's replacement are RIP OFF.

Sonicares are unreliable.I owned older model and it died within 2 years or just shy of 2 year warranty.I give them credit for good customer service for sending me replacement.So if your product is unreliable then call to complain and demand a brane new replacment!

One Lucky Sister
My little sister is in the dental profession and gave me a professional version of this toothbrush with an extra head for my husband for Christmas. Actually, I got it on Dec. 18, 2004.I can't scream loud enough how much I LOVE this tooth brush!!! I had my first cleaning today after using this new brush and I could tell a difference.This is the best power toothbrush that I have ever used, we are hooked.

What a cool little gizmo... My disclaimer: I have never previously used any kind of ultrasonic toothbrush so my 5-stars are based on comparison to manual brush, Rotadent electric brush and my opinion of its general product quality, ease of use, etc.

Mine arrived yesterday and I had no trouble setting it up for use.As I have very sensitive teeth and have been fighting below-the-gumline woes, I was apprehensive that it could be painful. In fact, it was more gentle than my old Rotadent!

The brush head, toothpaste cartridges and battery are all replaceable. Looks like the brush is recommended for replacement at least every 6 months and a toothpaste cart. will last under a month. While the battery should last a good LOOOONG time, it's nice they provide access and removal instructions if it's needed.

LIKES:
1. built in timer to encourage you to brush each quadrant of your mouth for 30 seconds.
2. case and cover for travel
3. brush does not have a socket/plug connection to the base (read: no uncleanable crevaces).
4. different feel and sound... not disturbing or obnoxious
5. extremely gentle on my sensitive teeth
6. after use, my teeth felt like they do after a dental cleaning...oh, so clean.

WISH LIST: 1. I've come to like the vanilla mint and other Crest flavors. At the moment you have only a choice of mint or mint with whitening.
