2-0 out of 5 stars Difficult to adjust
I've reached the age where my arms are getting shorter when I try to read. I have several pairs of OTC reading glasses scattered throughout the house that I can never find when I need them. So this product sounded like just the thing, letting me wear my glasses around my neck without buying a chain and look trendy at the same time.

Alas, it sounded like a great idea but wasn't. So far I have been unable to properly adjust the frames where they don't ride up when I wear them. If I wear them over the ears as intended, my hair weighs them down in the back, causing their refusal to rest on my nose. The only way I can get them to work is if I wear them over my ears and hair, which makes me look like a doofus.

This problem would probably be solved if I got myself a really short haircut. But I don't think I'll be changing my hairstyle just so I can wear these glasses.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great diapers
We were looking for disposable diapers that were somewhat better for the environment and happened upon these. We really like the fact that they are chlorine-free since dioxins (by-products of bleaching) are harmful to our environment. However, warning: they do resemble paper bags. :) We're not sure about if the dioxins stay on the diapers and affect our baby but we figure we could do without the chemicals. We found these diapers to be very absorbent and had very few leaks since we started using them 1.5 months ago. The only cons: they're a bit more bulky than conventional brands & a bit more expensive . But, they do go on sale occasionally, so we stock up then. :) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars How Something So Basic Can Be Fun
This review is about the Oral-B Flexisoft replacement heads. Coupled with the Braun electric toothbrushes, this is one of the most effective aids to oral hygiene ever developed. My introduction to Oral-B goes back over 27 years to a USAF basic training briefing; a dental technician held up an Oral-B toothbrush with medium bristles and said "this is the toothbrush you need if you want to keep your teeth" or some such statement like that. Well, I haven't lost one yet.

The motorized mechanicals of the toothbrush do most of the work while you guide the oscillating round head around and over your pearly whites. While the heads are undeniably pricey when looked at just in dollars and cents, there is value in the fact that the total package actually makes a rather mundane chore a little more fun while actually living up to the claim that it does a better job on your teeth than manual brushing.

Since I've always believed the entire surface area of the toothbrush head was meant to be covered with toothpaste and the size of the head on these is smaller than the average brush, I know I'm using less toothpaste to do the same job. While this is no big deal, the long term economic benefit is plaque under control, healthy gums and a bright smile full of natural teeth; it's kind of hard to deny it works. My dentist has confirmed this upon direct examination.

Just be careful what model of these brush heads you are selecting and watch the pricing. Oral-B uses a kind of color code for the bristles, and the ones that have colored bristles in a line with the shaft are the Flexisoft model that seems to equate to medium hardness.

Enjoy life!

5-0 out of 5 stars An easy, safe, effective way to brush
Dentists all over the country are recommending the Oral-B electric toothbrush. There are several reasons. It does the work for you, vibrating thousands of times a second, massaging your gums, it lets you clean your teeth without scraping your gums with a toothbrush, which can cause them to recede and bleed, and it reaches between your teeth to catch plaque and germs. This is a wonderful toothbrush, and I recommend it.However, if you want a review of a toothbrush, you'll read the toothbrush page. This is a page for replacement heads.

There's a lot of confusion about replacement heads for Oral B electric toothbrushes on Amazon, and I just want to give you all some facts. There are only three kinds of heads for ALL Oral-B electric toothbrushes.Flexisoft EB17, Extrasoft EB17, and Ortho OD17.I prefer Flexisoft EB17, which is what this item is. (The Extrasoft is a little too soft, and the Ortho is overpriced)

The reason I mention this is that the prices are all over the board for what is the same product. For example, this listing is for four Flexisoft EB17 heads for $24.99 (The EB17-4 just means there are four of them). There are other offers through Amazon partners for this exact same item for $12.99.Make sure you find the best deal, because they're all the exact same product, listed multiple times at different prices! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST formula
I don't know who wrote the review stating that Bottle Fed babies have a shorter life than a breastfed baby but come on!I NEVER breastfed my child. She is 7 months old now and has NEVER been sick. She is also as intelligent as a breastfed baby and is right on target, actually advanced for her age group.I think a comment like that is completely naive.

Anyway, my daughter as been on Enfamil Lipil since the moments she was born and she has never had any problems at all.She is in the 90th percentile for weight and off the charts for height so apparentely she is very healthy!I definitely wouldn't give my child on any other formula but Enfamil Lipil.

5-0 out of 5 stars Enfamil Lipil
My son was breastfed for the first five months of life. When I went back to work Enfamil Lipil was the only formula that he would take.We both love the formula. He is now eight months old and is bigger than ever.

3-0 out of 5 stars Generic is just as good
My son is primarly breastfed but gets formula at daycare, and he tolerates the generic formula by Wyeth just as good or better as the Enfamil.I'm not going to fork over the extra $$ for name brand. As a side note, the lipils that formula companies are starting to add have been know to cause gassiness and stomach upset in some babies. The benefits are minimal if any, so I'm sticking with the plain stuff.

5-0 out of 5 stars Has anyone looked at Target?
My goodness!I haven't read the Evil Anti-Formula "review", but it certainly is wonderful to read all of the pro-formula emails.I, too, am one who did not continue with breastfeeding long with either of my two children for a number of reasons.Please.The lactation con. tell you that nursing is easier, but for most of us out there, prepping a bottle is WAY EASIER.Anyway, to get to my point...I have found the 25.7oz size at Target for something like $16.97.We actually have two Targets in town and this price is only at one of them.I don't know what that's about, but it's worth checking out. It's the only place I buy E.L. now.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great product, Lowest price !!
This is obviously a great product needs no commentary but
the current price at which Amazon offers it, is note worthy.

I have checked the price of this product at 10-12 stores, including wholesaler Costco, but the price is the Lowest @ Amazon.com

I will keep buying it ONLY from Amazon , as long as I need it

4-0 out of 5 stars good shave; don't like the power switch
The 7825XL, 7845XL, 7865XL and 7885XL models are all basically the same razor, differing only in the way they display battery/chargingstatus (anywhere from 1 LED to a complete tiny LCD display). The shaving peformance is fine for me -- not as close as a wet shave but that's a good thing for me personally because the closeness of wet shaves makes my face break out.Every 3-7 years I buy a new Norelco and they get incrementally better each time.

I'm writing to warn about one feature.Every shaver I'd had up to this one had a physical slider switch to turn it on and off. This models has a push button. This means you can't tell BY TOUCH whether it's on or off. This is critical for me because I usually shave in the car (sitting in traffic) with the stereo blaring and I can't hear the shaver (especially since the newer models are pretty quiet).I turn it on and off a lot as traffic conditions change.

Further, when the battery is low, my previous shavers would just run slower and slower until they came to a gradual stop. This one slows slightly (imperceptably to me, really) and then just "falls off the cliff" and stops cold.So you don't get any warning really that it's about to run out -- if I knew it was running down, then I'd shave a lot faster!

And this is where the tactile power switch feedback is important:if the battery's totally drained, but I'm not done yet, I'll leave it off for a minute and then turn it on for 5-10 seconds of shaving before it dies again. With the push-button power control this is really confusing because you're never really sure what's on and off.It turns out the the power button is like a pulse that gets sent to an internal microcontroller (I'm guessing), so after it's been off for a while the power "position" doesn't matter, it's really off.You just push to reboot the thing.

So, my 7825XL was robbed out of my car last night and I'm buying another one of these, so I guess that's an endorsement. But I'm bumping up to the next higher model with better battery status indication ...

4-0 out of 5 stars Wash & dry face first for best results.4.5 stars.
It's true what other reviewers have said: you'll get the best results out of the 7865XL (and the others in the 7800 series) if you wash and dry your face first. Then it glides smoothly and works in very few passes.I probably have to make sure I cross each area about three times in different directions (mostly going against the grain of the whiskers) to get everything. If I follow those two basic guidelines, my chin is smooth as can be and the shave lasts all day.If I don't wash first it's still a joy to use, but it takes longer (more passes in different directions to get every whisker) and won't last all day (more like 8 hours).

This item is worth buying, it's fun to use... I'd give it 4 and a half stars. To get 5 it would need to do everything in a single pass, and that's a tall order.

I also like the fact that you can rinse the head under running water to clean it.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing.....
I read all the positive reviews on this shaver, so I picked one up 6 weeks ago. It shaves my face quite well, but does a lousy job on my neck and jawline. I had to go to an engagement party recently, and to get a decent, clean shave I had to break down and use a razor. The booklet says to use only the electric shaver for 3 weeks straight to give your skin time to adjust; but not only wouldn't this thing shave my neck decently, it actually caused a nasty rash to develop as well. I had to use Lanacane for a week to get rid of it. This Norelco model will be my last attempt at using an electric shaver (I tried a high-priced Braun as well, with similar results). Over 90 bucks spent on this thing, and I still can't get a really good, satisfactory shave. I can't recomment this product.

5-0 out of 5 stars This shaver is great
My husband is disabled, therefore must use an electric one. This one gives him the closest shave and is just right for his sensitive skin.

4-0 out of 5 stars Best electric I've had
This Norelco (actually made by Philips) one was bought to replace an older shaver (I've used Norelco, Philips and Panasonics over the years.) This one is more efficient (faster, better shave) than my older one, and an amazingly amount quieter. What do you know- this time, "new and improved" really is accurate!

What I like: the shaver fits the hand well, the pivoting blade heads fit the face and as a result shave quite well. The battery strength indicator, consisting of bright LEDs showing the percentage of charge remaining in 20% increments, is very useful, and the flip-up hinged shaver head section is easy to clean with warm water (I still have to consciously force myself to do this!) They have also "shrunk" the half-egg shaped power transformer, and you can use 100 - 220 volts to plug / charge, a good thing for someone who travels globally as I do.

What I don't like: the pop-up trimmer is only fair - it works, but it's actually not as effective as the one on my old shaver! The deep well holding the head rotors shafts is not so easy to clean with a brush, particularly with the hinged head; they are still using a non-user replaceable NiCd battery; the gimmicky cutter head plate section with holes seems merely that - gimmicky, not useful for any real shaving.

Tips: After cleaning the head / blade assemblies, allow them to dry fully and spray-lubricate with something like "Shaver Saver." When power seems low, turn the shaver on and allow to discharge fully before reccharging - these are, after all, still NiCd batteries with the "memory" effect. These tips have allowed my previous electrics' battery - and cutter head assemblies - to last a long time (I have a heavy beard - even with a blade shaver, I have to shave again in the afternoon if I have a dinner appointment.)

Recommendation: This is a very good, easy to use, quick and quiet electric shaver - the best I have ever used. It packs easily for travel, and though it is a bit finnicky to clean, I like it because it does the job I need it to do. Given the several deficits, I'd never give it four stars if not for how it handles its ultimate function - shaving my beard. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great pre-shave--as good a a wet shave
I have very sensitive skin and tried wet shaving with several different electrics and this shave stick beats foam and loation hands down.As other reviewers point out the stick is made of talc in a parafin base.It makes dry shaving extremely smooth, as smooth as shaving with foam or lotion but without any of the mess. You can use this with any type of electric, not just Remingtons, and it's very easy to clean out, just tap it out and/or blow and/or brush.Highly recommended

5-0 out of 5 stars Smooth as silk
Great partner to the Remington MS3-2700.
I have always been afraid of electric shavers due to the pulling of face hair and the redness and rawness from the shavers. I just purchased a new Remington shaver and decided to try the face saver powder stick and was greatly pleased with the results.
The stick was so easy to apply and made the MS3-2700 shaver glide across my sensitive skin. The residue in the shaver cleaned right out with the whiskers. I highly recommend this stick to anyone using an electric shaver.

5-0 out of 5 stars BetterThan liquids.
When I got a new Remington electric razor a few years ago a package of Remington FaceSaver came with it. I used it until it ran out then started with the liquids like Lectric Shave. They never worked as well.

The powder is a talc, which dries that clingy bit of moisture on your skin, plus paraffin, which with the talc lets the head glide over your skin.

As another reviewer says, the powdery waste easily dumps out of the cutter head - no brushing required.

I hunt this stuff down. No other way to shave, in my opinion. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars See changes right away.
I have really bad stretch marks all over from my pregnancy. It has been 3 years and it just doesn't go away.I tried those other creams, and didn't see any differences. After using this cream,I noticed my stretch marks fade and look lighter.I still have stretch marks, but it looks better than before.Don't expect a miracle, because the stretch marks are not going to dissappear.I heard even Laser couldn't take away all the stretch marks.I gotta admit it smells bad though.I only use it once a day and has finished the 6 oz tube, now I'm buying another one.It is expensive, but well worth the money. Those other creams like Vita-K and Coco Butter doesn't help at all, they are cheaper in prices.

3-0 out of 5 stars Didn't see any results...smell is horrible
I personally did not experience any noticeable results after 30 days. Also, the smell is just horrible. The company claims that it is peppermint, but to me it smells like that plus rancid oil.Not pleasant at all. It would have been bearable if it had worked at all!!
But the good news is that I contacted the seller from whom I purchased the cream through Amazon.com and they initiated an immediate refund.
That is commendable.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great skin cream!
I purchased this product which was originally manufactured for stretch marks as a facial cream (which it is now marketed for)After the first month I noticed a great difference with decreased undereye puffiness and the fine lines around my eyes. Now, not only did I notice, but many of my friends made comments too.I've revealed my secret and feel it is well worth the cost.I would also like to mention, this is a BIG tube of cream. It is very decieving, you are definately getting your moneys worth here ladies. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great shaver
Got this on my last trip to Vegas when I forgot to pack my Braun.Have been very happy, so much so that I now use this regularly and have retired my 10-year-old Braun. It's great for all types of shaving.I really have nothing unflattering to say about this great electric shaver.

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome shaver!!!
This is one of the best shavers on the market. Whatever they say about Norelco being the best,I think Panasonic rocks when it comes to shavers. My husband's been using a 7xxx model for 3 years now and I decided to buy a new, more advanced, model for him since he's been kind of reluctant to shave lately. And, needless to say, I like him better with smooth and soft shaved skin...The result- he's been shaving every 2 days thanks to the fact this model makes less noise, has a great easy-grip design, recharges incredibly quickly and looks cool in the bathroom (Men love beautiful toys- from Gameboy Advance to Pro Curve shavers.) I'll buy him more Panasonic products in the future; recommend you to do the same; won't regret it!!!:)
You'd ask "why 4 stars, then?" Well, lets leave some room for more HiTech advances...

4-0 out of 5 stars Best I've ever used
It isnt perfect, doesn't shave as close as a razor, but it is the best I have ever used and I have had some expensive electric razors. It easily out performs my old Norelco quadra.

I am a worst case scenario for an electric razor. This is the closest shaving electric I have ever used and it is the first ever to do a half decent job under my chin along my neck.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the investment - Great but Not Perfect
After trying various electric shavers in the $50 range that gave poor shave and skin irratations, I finally gave in and bought this top-of-the-line shaver, which is lives up to the hype. It's definitely the Lexus of shavers.I really like the fact that I can lather up my face with shaving cream and shave while showering.Since it's wet and dry, just pop open the shave head and rinse away the debris in two seconds.(I just hated cleaning the Norelco rotary heads with the two tiny brushes, with the little flimsy parts invariably popping out of place in the process.)

I have thick and tough stubbles that cheap shavers could not tackle well, but the sharp blades combined with high RPM motor of this shaver mowed them away smoothly.Despite the high RPM, it's the quietest electric shaver I've owned, with very little vibration. The shaver is large, but it's ergonomically designed and very comfortable to hold while shaving.

On the downside, the charging base is made of flimsy plastic that looks ready to crack any second. The poor design of the base also forces you to use two hands when separating the shaver from the charger. Also, in order to maintain the peak performance, you must replace the foil and blade every few months, which are not cheap either.(However, you can order these from Amazon - look up the keyword "WES9006WC".)But no electric shaver is perfect, including this one.I actually use the Mach-3 at the end to 'sandpaper' away the spots that are scratchy to the touch.

I believe Amazon is the best place to buy this shaver.'Best Buy' carries them, but their price, availability, and model selection are spotty at best.Further, their staff had zero knowledge about shavers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Recommended
Bought this to replace an ES8066 and a Braun Integral 5416 which were working ok but needed new blades. I figured it wasn't worth replacing the blades of obsolete shavers--they cost almost half the price of new units. In my experience, Braun shaves slightly closer than Panasonic. However, I like the convenience of shaving in the shower, so I got the Panasonic. All their wet/dry pro-curve shavers seem to be functionally identical, so I got the cheapest one. As usual, Amazon delivered quickly and at a low price.

I was a bit disappointed when I first opened the blister pack--the charging base and foil assembly are both flimsier than on the earlier model. I dropped my old shaver several times to no ill effect, and I don't think this one would survive as well. Also, the pivot action is along the opposite axis as on the Braun shavers. It seems they wanted to mimic Braun but couldn't violate their patent. I'm not sure pivoting does much of anything in the left-right direction. Truth be told, though, it doesn't do very much in the up-down direction on the Braun either.

The charging base is less precarious than it seemed at first, though it doesn't have the coolness factor of the earlier model's sealed design without visible plugs. The pro-curve shines, however, when you push the electronic switch. The shaver is MUCH quieter and more ergonomic than the vibrating brick 8066. It's the first shaver I've owned that actually works pretty well for me going with the grain. I still have to go back over against the grain to get a close shave. Keeping the shaver and the counter clean is a snap, with no need to buy cleaning solution. I was tired of the Braun mostly because it leaked hair dust all over the sink. If this shaver lasts as long as the last one, I'll be very happy with my purchase. ... Read more

A fabulous pampering gift for self or others, this home spa kit deep-cleans skin through the process of microdermabrasion. By gently exfoliating dull skin cells using special attachments and creams, skin is left rejuvenated and ultra smooth. Seven attachments come with the rechargeable tool, which features two speeds, a tapered, non-slip grip, and a water chamber that at the push of a button sprays a fine mist. Begin your facial by attaching the cleansing brush (which sensitive skin may find a bit too harsh) and lathering in the clear, unscented facial cleanser. Rinse. Next, try one of the two suction cup attachments that pull impurities out of large pores. Attach one of the three microdermabrasion sponges and use it to massage in the slightly gritty, grapefruit-scented microdermabrasion cream. After rinsing your squeaky clean, newly smoothed skin, apply a splash of toner and work in the luscious, unscented moisturizer. Now, just add a final neck and face massage with the roller attachment, a fine mist spray to close pores, and you’ll feel like you just spent all day at the spa, without spending the bucks. A charging stand, hard plastic storage case for the attachments, and drawstring travel bag are included, along with a two-year warranty.--Ann Bieri ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Cheap and relaxing at-home facial
I have really enjoyed this kit. Once in a while I like to give myself a "spa day" and really go to town with my face. This is a nice kit that takes care of almost every step of a facial. I start off by steaming my face. Next, I use the brush attachment with the included cleanser--the brush is gentle yet vigorous enough to make you feel squeaky clean. After rinsing, I use the microdermabrasion pad and cream, which works well and is gentle so it's not irritating. I risne the cream off, dry my face, and apply my own mask. When that's done, I rinse and dry off, and use the included toner which is mild and non-drying.Finally, I apply their moisturizer, which feels light and non-greasy, with the rolling head attachment. I don't particularly like this attachment because I find the feeling of hard plastic balls rubbing against my skin unpleasant, especially when going over bony areas like around the temples. So I sometimes skip it and use my fingers. I don't use the suction attachment anymore because it's pretty useless--it does do some suction (enough to leave red marks for a few seconds), but not nearly enough to draw out blackheads or plugs from my oily, problem-prone skin! Nothing beats your own hands for that! I also don't use the mister much because I don't see the point--I think it takes more than a spritz of water to "close" your pores. I only use it to re-wet my face during the microdermabrasion process. At the end of the session, my face feels really clean and relaxed and has a nice healthy glow.

The unit is rechargeable and always has enough power for an entire session. The included carrying case is nice but only holds the heads. There's also a drawstring pouch, but it barely contains the rest and tends to open, so I wish they had a better storage method (but this is minor). I expected the included cleanser and other products to be cheap and poor quality, but they are actually surprisingly good, and not harsh.

All in all, this is a nice kit as long as you don't expect it to be a professional quality facial, and you supplement with some of your own things (like steam and a mask).

1-0 out of 5 stars Very unhappy with this product!
I had reasonable hopes for this and was very disappointed. After waiting 16 hours for the unit to charge, I found that the variable speeds (lo-hi) were useless--nothing really worked well on the low speed. The built in water sprayer broke immediately. The various attachments work with varying degrees of effectiveness--other reviews are correct in that the suction is useless. After 10 minutes of a very bad attempt at a facial, I threw the entire unit away.SAVE YOUR MONEY!THIS PRODUCT IS INEFFECTIVE!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad at all for the price
I have been trying to reduce my unbelievable stress lately and have been trying to find time to pamper myself.I have bought quite a few Homedics products and have not been disappointed by any of them.I have always done my own facials and really do not understand having professional ones.I do the same thing myself so why pay someone else to do it.However, I have really only done facial masks and creams so I thought I would try this just to add a little more "zest".First, I use only organic products on my face so I did not use any of the creams or other such products that came with the spa kit.It worked just fine with my own products.I did my mask as usual to bring to the surface any toxins and then followed with the all the steps of the spa kit.I did not find the brush too rough--you can apply it to the surface of your face as hard as you like.It is a brush after all and not a feather. It is important to have brushing of the skin as it does increase oxygen and blood flow.Personally I enjoyed the suction as it again did bring toxins to the surface. It is not an extractor so do not expect that. One review said there are no instructions for cleaning.I do not understand what that issue is all about--remove, rinse, and dry.I really did not see why that needed any explanation. And, I did see that "gunk" came out with the suction cups--again, just rinse and that was that!I am not a microdermabrasion specialist but again, the orgainic soap and bamboo powder facial polish I use daily does just fine so I tend to skip this step sometimes. But, again, it did work with my own organic products just fine.Massager really did not do much but it certainly did not hurt or cause damage so why not use it?Since I am not a facial fanatic I really can not say much other than I have not had problems with Homedics products, including this one.I like what it does and have no complaints. Not bad at all for the price so why not take some time and pamper yourself.

5-0 out of 5 stars Satisfied Customer
Maybe my expectation levels aren't as high as most, but I am quite pleased with this unit.It does everything that I need it to do and does it gently. My skin felt smooth and supple afterwards and even my makeup looks much better.I think it's a great value!

3-0 out of 5 stars 2 OUT OF 5 ACCESSORIESWERE USEFUL.....VERY!!!!!
1. I FOUND THE CLEANSING BRUSH TO BE QUITE USEFUL AND EFFECTIVE.

2. STEP 2 IS THE SUCTION CUP......DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

3. STEP 3 IS THE MICRODERMABRASION SPONGE......I LIKE IT....FEELS
LIKE IT IS REALLY CLEANING WITH THE SANDY GRAINS.

4. STEP 4...RINSE PAT DRY...USE TONER...FELT REFRESHING BUT
NOT ENOUGH TO WHERE I WOULD BUY REFILLS

5. STEP5 MIST SPRAY..NOT AT ALL COOL ENOUGH TO CLOSE YOUR PORES
I EVEN TRIED IT WITH COLD WATER TO MAKE IT COLDER.....I
EVENTUALLY JUST RAN A CUBE OF ICE OVER MY FACE WHICH FELT
REALLY GOOD AND CLOSED MY PORES QUICKLY.

6. STEP 6..FACIAL CREAM WITH MASSAGE ROLLER....NOT BAD...I LIKE
THE ROLLER MASSAGING THE CREAM IN MY FACE...WILL USE MY
OWN CREAM THOUGH SINCE I NEED AN "ANTI WRINKLE" CREAM THAT
FEELS MUCH BETTER THAN THIS CREAM.

OVER ALL THOUGH MY FACE FELT CLEAN AND ENVIGORATING WITH THE BRUSH AND THE GRAPEFRUIT SCRUB.....WISH THEY WOULD DROP THE 2 SUCTION CUPS AND MIST AND CUT THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT! i would still recommend this product because you can do marvels using it then using your own facial cream at the end to give that soft suptle feel..........excellent at exfoliating which is what i need the most!!!!!!! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Improved my skin...
I've used many different lotions, mostly from supermarkets (HEB) and department stores (Wal-Mart). I liked some, and even though I loved some, but I don't believe I knew what good lotion is until I started using this one.

I love it.

The fragrance may be slightly on the strong side and I agree I'd like it even more if it's not as strong, but it really isn't that bad unless you are extremely sensitive to smell.

I've never used the pump one so I dunno, I use the one without the pump. (You'll see this review in both items if they both are on amazon) I was recommended by a friend to use it. He told me how gentle it is to the skin and I just nodded without thinking much of it. One day my hands were feeling extremely dry from the a/c so I asked to try some of that lotion. Gladly he let me do it and as soon as I applied the lotion I realized how little lotion was needed just to moisturize both of my hands, and they seem to spead so evenly and absorbed completely within minutes.

My hands felt baby soft, even visually the skin looked different--healthier, and has a natural looking shine.

Best of all, I think it makes my skin look younger!

I DO WISH THE PRICING IS LESS PRICY, though.

3-0 out of 5 stars not that great
I was excited to try this lotion and was disappointed when it came. While the lotion seems to be ok, I was really turned off by the strong smell. If I would of smelled it first, I wouldn't of bought it.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT!
packaging is great.. my pump worked great. its good lotion, the smell, its like a soapy fragance.. I enjoy it..

1-0 out of 5 stars defective pump top
I've ordered this product 3 times and I've had to return it each time because of the defective pump top. The contents spill all over the box. Then I have to take time to repackage and make yet another trip to the post office. The product is great but the packaging is horrible.Attempts to send a general e-mail to even see if I can get a different packaging process or the pump sent separately in the box result in the same response - return it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Lotion -- Very Gentle and an Excellent Value
I love the Canus Goat's Milk Products.I have very dry skin and it has been very harsh in the Northeast this winter.

The secret savior for my skin has been a daily dollop of this lotion.I agree, I love the fragrance! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars How about redesigning the power system
Great trimmer with a rather unique feel and design. I am 57, a red head gone white with lots of fine hair. The vacuum is acceptable if you empty it frequently. The adjustable length setting is anice feature.
Now this thing needs to have some healthy battery power and life, come on now, pitifully weak batteries with a short charge, 14 hour charging time and won't work while plugged in the wall. You best plan ahead for a trim. Not at all convenient. I'd rather have a corded version, more flexibility.Pssst....Norelco...think Lithium Ion or Nickel Metal Hydride for pity's sake.

2-0 out of 5 stars The "accu-vac" is not so "accu"
I'm not sure what kind of facial hair the men have who claim a 90% vacuum rate.I'd guess about half of my hair makes it into the vacuum tray. The only problem is that it's no less annoying to clean 50% of my beard hair out of the sink and surrounding areas than it was to clean 100% of it.

Don't expect much in the way of vacuuming from this product.

3-0 out of 5 stars They should rename this product--Accu YES, Vac NO.
The shaver works fine.A nice even shave, though I would prefer more settings in the shorter range. However, this thing really disappoints in the vacuuming function. It claims to suck up all the cut hairs, but my sink is always full of hair. As far as my unit goes, it catches about 1/2 of the hairs, creating a little mess every time I shave.

1-0 out of 5 stars GARBAGE
This is probably the worst product I ever bought in my life, and I am 67 years old.The apparatus for changing the comb extension broke before I got to use the shaver.Save your money, this is truly garbage.

4-0 out of 5 stars best beard trim yet
I came to amazon to review my new trimmer and amazon is confusing me with two identical (seemingly) trimmers listed seperately, similar listing, not identical, price close but not identical.Any explanation for that would be interesting. Now to the trimmer. It arrived yesterday. Read the instructions and charged it up.Last night I trimmed my beard for the first time and it was a pleasureable experience.I like to keep my beard really short and I was pleased that the settings allow fine adjustment, I did not have to use the shortest setting, "1" which is called the stubble look.I started with 4 and worked down to 2.My beard looks better than it has in years.THe motor is powerful, you can feel the vacuum working and it collected an impressive amount of hair, altho not all of it.Besides my primary job I'm also a model for art classes and I intend to use the trimmer to keep body hair from getting out of hand, it should be perfect for keeping it short without that awful shaved body look which is not what I want to present when modeling. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Great toothbrush...worth using.
I've been using a Sonicare for four years now. Getting greatly improved dental checkups w/cleaning. Very little hardened plaque. Very happy with the it. However, first one gave up after two years, needing replacement. My current one is now needing more frequent charging, suggesting it too is on its way out. So yes these are overpriced, but still worth having. The competition, Oral-B, works a little differently but is less expensive. I will probably buy another Sonicare, however.

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than the Elite series
I used the Original Sonicare for 5 years and got NO cavities or gum problems. The battery died so I thought I'd trade up to the new elite model. 6 months later I have a detached gum and a cavity. The Elite has excessive vibration that can damage the gums since the brush head design is different and smaller so the vibrationsdo not "pan out" evenly. Several sonic type models have this problem. And I was dismayed that that "clean" feeling from the first sonicare was not evident with the elite. I have heard the Oral B sonic is gentler than most. But I'm buying another 4700 type.

5-0 out of 5 stars No cracked plastic here - I love this brush!
First, I want to share what I know about why the plastic base/handle of a Sonicare may crack. The plastic collar that secures the brush head of my Sonicare Advance cracked during the first week I used my new brush. When I called Sonicare to ask for a replacement, I also got an explanation: If you use toothpaste with baking soda, the plastic will indeed crack sooner or later. The woman I spoke with at Sonicare said she didn't know exactly why this happens, but that the company was aware of the problem, and was looking into the cause and a possible solution. Anyway, they promptly sent me a new collar, and told me not to use any toothpaste with baking soda if I wanted to avoid another cracked brush. I've followed that advice, and my entire brush base is still perfect after 4 years of daily use...

Which brings me to this: I love this toothbrush! My teeth are clean, my gums are healthy, and I can drink the tea I love without developing a stained smile.

I highly recommend this brush, provided you can live without baking soda toothpaste.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Guarantee
My husband, son (age 11) and I have been using the Sonicare 4700 for several years and we love it. We could NEVER go back to manual toothbrushes. The handle my husband and I share has "died" twice. Both times were within Sonicare's 2 year warranty period (period restarts if they replace an item). Each time they graciously replaced the handle. For those who decide they are unhappy with the product, they have 30 days to return it for a refund. Go to www.sonicare.com for details. My son has no fillings and our middle-age teeth and gums are in excelllent condition. An ounce of prevention... A bit expensive, but cheaper than high dentist bills.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow, what a change!
Always brushed my teeth with a normal toothbrush for 20 or however many years I can remember. It is a bit awkward for me, how it feels in my hands in my mouth. So from a novice point of view, here are the pros, cons

pros :
- makes my teeth feel squeeky clean easily!I'm licking my teeth as I type this =)

cons :
- tickles in my mouth
- it's quite loud when it gets in your mouth.
- toothpaste got everywhere ( I may be using it wrong )

The Ultrasonex rechargeable toothbrush supercharges your dentalhygiene routine, removing far more plaque than even the most manicmanual brushing could achieve. Alternating 1.6 MHz ultrasonic and18,000 SPM carrier waves, the "dual frequency" action purports to reachbelow the gum line to prevent gingivitis and bleeding. (More likely,it's the 18,000 strokes per minute that does the trick.) It's certainlytrue that the Ultrasonex leaves teeth as clean as they'll feel short ofa trip to the dentist. The charge lasts for up to 4 days, making iteasy to bring along on short trips. 5-0 out of 5 stars Flawless
Nineteen months twice a day this brush has performed perfectly for me. Have only taken on one trip of three days and battery was fine for those six brushings. My dentist began being happy to see me three months after I started with this brush. Also, I am still on the second replacement brush that came with it.

For the price:)Flawless.

5-0 out of 5 stars great gadget
ultrasonic brushes have been shown to reduce plaque, gingivitis and tooth stains by scientific trials.this brush works well.ideal for improving teeth and gums.

5-0 out of 5 stars So far so good (cross finger)
I have this electric brush for about 3 months so far.And so far, so good.I suffer from receding gumline, and I know it's not coming back.So I need to resort to electric brush to allow myself a way to brush my teeth without slaugthering my gums. There is a lot of complaints here at Amazon that the battery dies out, and I sorta agreee. After 3 months, the battery is slowly having trouble holding up the charge.

As a test, I find that on a typical full charge (at the beginning of the purchase), I could get 10 brushes (2 each day = 5 days) before recharging. But now, I can only get maybe 6-7 brushes on a full charge, without recharging. As some people say, the best way to prolong the battery (weak Ni-Cd) is to more frequently discharge the brush/battery.You do that by letting the sucker run until its battery dies.

But aside from the battery, overall it's very good. The shape is a little big and clumsy to hold, much bulkier than a typical toothbrush. So for people who want the "ultimate portable" electric brush, this isn't it.There are 3 extra replaceable heads, which is a bargain.Overall, for 20 bux, this is a very good toothbrush.Considering the quality of the battery, I think it will last me about a year or 2.But since I have a receding gum-line, it is well worth it for the health of my mouth.

5-0 out of 5 stars This toothbrush is popular in my house
Bought two originally for my wife and I to replace my sonicare whose battery died (non-replaceable NiCd). We liked it so much, we bought two more for the kids who had a rotating toothbrush, and they love it too. Compared to sonicare, the battery charge seemingly lasts forever. I had to charge the sonicare every few days (I unplug the charger/holder so I can cycle the NiCd batteries for longer life). The SB300U lasts more than one week with each charge: great for trips. While the sonicare brushes probably go through more gyrations so you don't need to move as much, this brush gets the job done. I find the balance and size is much better than other electric toothbrushes on the market. I still would like to see these electronic manufacturers allow for replacing the NiCds. Such a waste to throw out the equipment for want of a $1 battery.

3-0 out of 5 stars Really great when it works
I love what it does for my teeth, but the unit I got wouldn't hold a charge for even a single brushing when I got it. I was too busy to return it and almost threw it away in disgust.

But I held onto it and after it had sat for a few months, I tried it again. It seems to be working now.

The workings of rechargable batteries are beyond me. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Worked great for 30 mins.
I bought one and used it twice in six weeks to trim my beard. Two weeks later I tried to use it and it was dead and would not charge. Seller said it had a 30 day warrantee and they were sorry. This is the only trimmer I have ever had that just died for no known reason. Others have lasted for years.

The sellers has my money and says he is sorry. This may be a good price and works well but a product is only as good as the people who stand behind it. They think so little of their product to fear standing behind it I would not buy from them at any price. Amazon is a good company and has always tried to help with problems but this seller and this trimmer does not live up to their high standard. As they said they are sorry.

1-0 out of 5 stars Still waiting - a note on shipping - not a product review
Can't really review this thing, because I'm still waiting for it from Amazon. I ordered it on February 21, and just got a note from them saying it will be delayed, with an estimated delivery by May 20..That would be 3 months!

So...don't believe the shipping estimate. It doesn't ship within 1-2 weeks. Maybe more like 1-2 months. Yes, I'm looking forward to using this. But by May 20, I'll look like I'm in ZZ Top.

Buy this thing somewhere else.

5-0 out of 5 stars Solid product
I've had this beard trimmer for about 4 years now, and I've been quite happy with it.Previously I had a crappy Wahl one that died after only a year and was cheaply made. The Panasonic one is easy to use, stays sharp, and is convenient.

The only downside to this trimmer is that it is cordless-only, so that you cannot run it when plugged in (though that would be awkward in any case given the design, with the pop-out plug in the base). The battery no longer holds a charge well (after 4 years, 2x per week), and so it needs to be replaced. There is no way to replace the battery separately, though given the cost of batteries relative to the cost of the trimmer I'm not sure that's a big deal.

I would recommend this highly as an inexpesive trimmer.I'm replacing it with the Panasonic 203 model, which has corded operation (so I'm hoping I can continue using it after the battery is really weak) and is dual-voltage, which is occasionally convenient.

5-0 out of 5 stars simple, uncluttered and effective
I am new to electric shaving. This is my first full beard. I read all the reviews for this and competing products and the ER389K sounded the best for the most customers. I received it in a few days from Amazon and love it. It is simple, easy to use. It has no wires, keeps my bathroom uncluttered. It does the job and at reasonable price.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a great trimmer!
I bought this for my husband's beard & mustache. He just loves it. He says that all the other numerous trimmers he has owned pale in comparison. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow
In my opinion, this toothbrush is the best thing since sliced bread.Yes, it is bulky and it takes some time getting used to, BUT it is so worth it.After 3 mins of brushing, your teeth will (literally) shine. And not just that, you'll save a bunch of money on dentist visits (cleaner teeth=less problems).Get it, your smile will thank you.

(And no, I don't work for SoniCare, I just love their product :)

4-0 out of 5 stars Great but bulky
My first impression of the toothbrush was how bulky it was.My roommate has a Sonicare and I figured it would be roughly the same size, but it seems bigger. It almost looks a little ridiculous, it has a huge handle and a small brush head.

But once you start brusing your teeth with it you forget about it and just enjoy it.It's simply amazing how clean your teeth feel when you are done brushing with it.

The toothpaste refills are a little pricey and they don't seem to be sold everywhere, but you can always put regular toothpaste on the brushhead if you wish.

Overall I'm happy with the product, but not with the size.

1-0 out of 5 stars Junk gimmick - Too big, expensive toothpaste...AVOID!
Why upgrade to this bulky product? Why contend with hard to find and expensive toothpaste? Why limit your toothpaste choices? Why pay so much?

Listen, just buy better Oral B product which are superior and smaller.

I returned mine to my dentist and got Oral B instead and very impressed with it!You're supposed to replace brush often and Sonicare's replacement are RIP OFF.

Sonicares are unreliable.I owned older model and it died within 2 years or just shy of 2 year warranty.I give them credit for good customer service for sending me replacement. So if your product is unreliable then call to complain and demand a brane new replacment!

Want proof? Reputable 3rd party Cochrane study state that Oral B's rotating brush are better! Not only that the replacement brushes are much cheaper than Sonicare!

http://www.oralb.com/cochrane/summary.asp

"An independent research group The Cochrane Collaboration, recently completed the most comprehensive review of power toothbrush
studies ever undertaken.
Rotation-oscillation toothbrushes, like the
ProfessionalCare 7000, reduce plaque and
gingivitis by between 7% and 17% more
than manual toothbrushes.

No other form of power toothbrushes,
including "sonic," proved to be any better
than a manual toothbrush in reducing
plaque and gingivitis.

The evidence also proved that power
toothbrushing is just as safe as manual
brushing.

1-0 out of 5 stars Love the toothbrush but hard to find replacement heads

As my title says, I love the toothbrush that fits these replacement brushes but I'm seriously thinking about not buying a new one after my current one goes.I've used this systemsince 1995 but it is so frustrating, and getting more so, to find replacement heads that it's simply not worth it. I know I can get them from conair but why should I have to pay shipping for something that I should be able to find in just about any drugstore.I live in New Jersey relatively close to NYC, you think it wouldn't be a problem - but it is.This is the first review I've ever written about anything - it's just that aggravating.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Product
I've been using the Interplak for probably 15 years now.My dentist told me "if you want to keep your teeth for another 10 years you've gotta start using this" and he told me all about it.I bought one on the way home and been using it every since.I think this is the 3rd Interplak I've owned.I much prefer the mini-brush - the one with 6 bristle heads on it - to the full size one.I can do a better job and wish to heck that they'd sell a Replacement Heads Pack of ONLY the mini-heads.Course, as one reviewer said - you can only use Gel Toothpaste with this brush.Personally - I have never used anythning besides good old Baking Soda for cleaning my teeth with the Interplak. My dentist is impressed with the condition of my teeth!Brushing with the Interplak and flossing religiously has made all of the difference for me!

5-0 out of 5 stars brushes work
I have used the toothbrush for several years - I had 2 or 3 other ones before. These brushes and the power toothbrush as the best. Use very little toothpaste or none at all - toothpaste mostly makes you feel good. Lowest price I have been able to find, too.

4-0 out of 5 stars Smile!
Make sure you only use gel toothpaste with this toothbrush. The paste toothpaste will cause the heads to sieze up.
I have had this toothbrush for nearly 2 years with no other problems.

... but I have been getting great check-ups at the dentist since using!

2-0 out of 5 stars These don't last very long!
Old technology and don't last the recommended 3 months between brush changes...they seize and cannot be repaired. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great shaver so far
I've had this refurb shaver for almost two months. The shave is close, and the power has lasted at least two weeks between charge. My facial hair doesn't grow fast, so I don't have much of a problem with shaving per se.The motor is silent. Not much to complain about, it works well. The only thing I would have preferred for it to be was washable under water. That's okay though, not a big deal.Recommended for the low price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Braun 7505 - a really great shaver!
I have been using Braun shavers for > 25 years, & this is just another step forward in improving a good product. The "factory reconditioned" shaver had the slightest handling scuffs, but inspection of the blades showed it had never touched a face.Slight changes in the foil, & the offset head, made it more comfortable & easier to get into curves than previous models. And, the cord/cordless feature means that I won't have to throw it away when the battery pack dies after 2 years like my last one.(There's no point in paying $50 to replace a battery pack.)I assume that the plastic parts that raise the trimmer will break soon, as usual, but I can live with that.I don't need the fancy self-cleaning tray or shave lube dispenser of the more expensive models, I just want the basics. For the money, the 7505 is a great value.

5-0 out of 5 stars Puts my Norelco in the trash (where it belongs)
Braun is the electric razor division of Gillette -- an amazing company that has dominated its sector for 100 years (No, I'm not an employee or stockholder).Just want to establish that this company knows, and cares deeply, about the science of cutting facial hair.

I was disappointed that my Norelco triple-header (heavily advertised holiday gift) generally did NOT give me a great shave and moreover, the NickelCadmium battery that couldn't hold a charge wasn't replaceable. That's all I needed to know.

This Braun product was an inexpensive alternative to a brand new model -- I don't have the "cleaning solution" kit.It works more than fine. I used to get "razor bumps" and ingrown hairs with the Norelco. The battery is NickelMetalHydrid which is less susceptible to "memory" loss. After a couple of years, I replaced the foil and cutter block for ~$20 (which should probably be done more often).

I am more than satisfied; I would buy a Braun again.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great deal!
I feel like I discovered a secret find with this product. It arrived to me looking brand new and working great, and at a great price.I was a little hesitant to buy a "reconditioned" product, but this one looked completely new.Additionally, this shaver was a big improvement over a basic model Braun I had before. This one is much more quiet and comfortable, although I'd like to find an electric shaver even more quiet.

1-0 out of 5 stars Had two of these shavers, each one only lasted 3 months
I received this shaver in June, 2004.It quit working in August, 2004.I sent it back to the factory and received a replacement in September, 2004.This second shaver quit working in December, 2004.I haven't sent it back yet for another replacement because I have no confidence in getting another shaver that will have a reasonable life.I intend to make a claim to get my money back to buy a Norelco.

My previous shaver was a triple head Norelco. The Braun shave is maybe as good as the Norelco but the Norelco rotary heads provide a quicker shave with fewer passes. The Norelco battery is much better. It lasted over 3 weeks per charge for well over 7 years then started to dwindle down for then next three years.
The Braun battery lasts 2 weeks per charge when new.
