I LoVE THESETHINGS!
Okay, I know and have heard it a thousand times "don't put them in your ears."

But I love doing it. It feels so awesome and clean and personal.

Now there is one issue to really be careful about, and that is this: I used to surf alot,
and all of a sudden I started to feel like I had water in my ears all the time.

It was so bad that I went to a doctor to check up on it. He told me that I had
scraped away all the protective wax inside my ear canal, and that's why my ears
were getting saturated with water. He advised me to back off on the amount of
times I used the qtips inside my ears. I did, and the condition went away, and
everything returned to normal, which it still is to this day many years later.

The key is that you can't use them in your ears too often, or else you scrape away
the way. I AM NOT ADVISING ANYONE TO STICK THESE IN THEIR EARS!!!
BUT, if you do it, don't do it too much.

Great product for a zillion years...
There's a reason why these guys have been around for years.Their quality and price have made them the best value there is for cotton swabs.They do the job, however interesting that that may be, and come back for more.They're indispensable if you have a baby or young children, but they grow with you into adulthood as well.There's some things you shouldn't buy the generic and this is one of them.They've been around for years and for good reason - they're great!

Gettin' on the 'tip...
Good God-- you know you've hit the bottom of the barrel as an Amazon customer reviewer when you're inspired to write a review for Q-Tips ! In my case, the inspiration struck during my last trip to the can... which was just a short while ago as of this writing, BTW. Yep, I was just sittin' there doin' my... er, thing... when I noticed the blue box of double-tipped cotton swaps peekin' out of the far corner of the medicine cabinet. I stared at the thing for a good ten seconds, all the while thinkin' about what I'd say about the product. After mappin' it all out I got my business over with, washed my hands, and rushed to my word processor to type up the following commentary:

While just about everybody have discovered the earwax removing properties ofQ-Tips (don't forget to observe the "Don't go into the ear canal" rule, please), I've also found them useful for forcing sneezes to help clear out a runny nose & stuffed-up sinuses. And yes, I am aware that I'm likely risking some kind of physical damage by doin' this, which is why I recommend you NOT try it! The last thing I need is to be sued by some yutz who tried to get himself to sneeze with a Q-Tip and hurt himself!

With the assistance of rubbing alcohol, Q-Tips are also pretty good for cleanin' out an "innie" (a rubbing alcohol-covered cotton ball would be a better option if your "innie" is particularly cavernous), removing collected food & dandruff deposits from those hard-to-reach recesses of a computer keyboard, and gettin' those last few specks of crud off the rollers inside a computer mouse. Please note, however, that rubbing alcohol gradually dissolves the stuff that holds the cotton to the swab stick, so you'd better have a decent handful at the ready for those extensive computer peripheral cleanups...

A MULTI-PURPOSE LITTLE COTTON SWAB...
If one wants cotton swabs that are made with a hundred percent pure cotton and have more soft cotton at the tip than any other brand, then this is the cotton swab one wants. With five hundred of these little things at one's disposal, they will last for a considerable length of time.

These cotton swabs are ideal for a number of uses. While the most common and popular use consists of sticking it in one's ears and giving the Q-tip a twirl in an attempt to clean them, one should be mindful that they are not designed to enter one's ear canal. In fact , the manufacturer cautions the buyer to only gently swab around the outer surface of the ears, if the swabs are used to clean ears.

Still,there are many other uses. In my household, these cotton swabs are often used for applying eye shadow, as well. I also used it when polishing furniture. If one has furniture that has carving, which is notorious for attracting dust and dirt in tight spots, dipping these handy, dandy little cotton swabs in lemon oil and then applying the soaked swab to those pesky little nooks and crannies, inherent in any carved piece, will remove that otherwise hard to reach dust, dirt, and grime.

Anyway, at this price one should not hesitate to buy these multi-purpose cotton swabs, as they are a good value and guaranteed to give the buyer a lot of bang for one's buck.

An audiophile archaelogist's dream
Truly, these q-tips have to be one of the greatest wonders of the 20th century. You just stick it in the ear and dig through, much like the special drilling machines dug their way to make the Chunnelbetween France and England. The tips are soft and the sticks are flexible allowing for extra precision when you can't quite reach for the holy of holies. Expereinced users have been known to derive much pleasure out of these tips and even excavated so much cerumen as that it was able to determine their age by the color graduations. They surely are superior to the arms of your eyeglasses' frame or your trusty old Black & Decker drill. Only trouble is, when your wife will ask you to take out the garbage, set the table or perform one of countless chores that wives want their husbands to do, you won't be able to say "What?!!!?...I can't hear you" anymore. For outer ear cleaning, and many, many other things
Q-Tips have been around for as long as I can remember. They were designed for cleaning the OUTER surfaces of the ear, and are not to be used to clean the ear canal.

Whatever they were designed for, Q-Tips have probably been used in dozens, if not hundreds, of other ways. They are ideal for cleaning any small area. One example: add a few drops of lighter fluid, and you can clean out the tracks of sliding windows. I've tried several other cotton swab brands, but they just don't hold up as well.I had said cleaning any small area, but, of course, I meant any small area EXCEPT the ear canal.

Its INCREDIBLE........!!!!!!!!!!
So, here's my story.I have bought the Conair hair straigtener/crimper/waver one before last year.I used the crimper and waver and they were pretty useful but I hate when my hair is frizzy and awful.I used the straigtener and it gave me bad results.I have thin hair by the way, and last Christmas, my aunt gave me a Wigo flat iron.That flat iron worked pretty well but now it's like 6 months old and it stopped working.Then the other day, I was telling my mom to buy me a new one and she did and she bought this Conair flat iron in a store..It's actually really good.. no frizzes... sleek hair... shiny hair... This is what you want for those girls out there.

I can't believe this isn't $170+
I honestly cannot believe this costs $20. I was skeptical because I have used other ceramic irons that cost $100, $150 and up and this works just as well as they do, if not better. I have never ever been able to get my naturally wavy, thin, damaged hair to ever look like this. In 15 mins I have stick straight hair that is shiny and glossier than ever. Seriously my hair always feels like straw, hay, actually haha but now it feels like the soft, shiny virgin hair of a 6 year old. I may buy a few more of these just in case anything ever happens to this one, its amazing. Don't waste your $$ on anything more expensive, this is all you need, trust me.

Don't use if you have small hands
I bought this product but did not work well for me b/c I have small hands. The scissor like handles just opened up too wide and could not work well with it. The combs would just add more problems since it would get tangled up. Again due to my small hands.
The product DOES however heat up fast and I like the dial heat settings. If you have small hands buy one that has a tong style to it. I bought a hair dryer instead w/ions/ceramic. I love my curly hair and I won't bother w/ a straightener.

Wow!!!
Wow!! this straightner works very good. I have had this straightner for about a year and it has never gaven up! It works so well, and heats up very quickly. Once I got it, all my friends got one and they all agreed on how good it was. It is a good straightner and has a really good price. I would highly recomend it!

Simply Amazing
I bought this straightener two days ago and just got it today. I've only used it once but it is quite amazing. It usually takes me 30 minutes to straighten my hair which is long so 30 minutes isn't that bad. I used a friend's straightnener and hers was much better than mine so I decided to search for a new one. Well, this is the first one I looked at and I ordered it. It is great beyond belief. Very reliable & easy to use product
I was very skeptical about trying this product based on reviews from various sites on the web. I decided to take a chance with it & I'm glad I did because I think it works wonderfully & it does what it says! Not only does it make your skin feel clean, fresh, & rejuvenated but it also makes a difference in the appearance as well. I first thought the suction cups were a joke, until I decided to leave it in the spot I was working on for about 2-3 seconds and then I noticed it was actually working. There was plenty of suction and it does remove dirt & oil. As a matter of fact, the suction was so strong that it didn't let go of my skin right away & I almost panicked! I'm totally pleased with the results from this product and I enjoy using it!

I have only had this product for a very short time.I am very pleased with it!I have already given myself two facials.

I followed the directions in the instruction manual and recommend everyone who purchases this item, do the same.

First, read the manual and note, let the unit charge for 16 hours prior to first use.Also, keep the unit in the charger at all times when not in use.You should have few if any problems with the unit if you follow these simple instructions.Ok ...

The attachments are excellent.I enjoy them all!

The cleaning brush is great, just don't over use it.Also, start off on low with each attachment.Don't rush the results, otherwise it might leave your face raw.I like to use Neutrogena 'Visibly Even' foaming cleanser (or Proactiv).

The sponge feels so good!Use it with your favorite lotion.It gently buffs and sooths your skin.I like to use Neutrogena 'Visibly Even' moisturizer during the day and Olay 'Regenerist' at night (or Proactiv).

The massage roller is my favorite!It is great to use with your favorite toner.I also like to use it after an intense moisturizer.I recommend the same products mentioned above.I always use this attachment with my Proactiv toner.

The two pore refiner attachments aka the suction cups are fun.Although they are my least favorite (of all the attachments) they still make good use of themselves.I like to use a mild toner and quickly dab at my face with the suction.I find the results minimal, but it feels very good.

I didn't have any irritation after the use of this product.I took special care to be gentle.I took it slow and used trusted products.I can only recommend you do the same.

For the value alone ($price) I highly recommend you try this product!

Works Wonderfully! I think everyone else is mistaken.
I'm prone to breakouts and my mom got this for my b-day. It works wonderfully! The microdermalbrasion cream really evens skin tone and softens. The suction cup works just fine for me! If you leave it on too long it leaves a red mark, unfortunately. I had a spa day with my daughter and we loved it (I didn't let her do the microdermalbrasion though)! The others must have gotten a lemon. I LOVE my spa (especially the cool mist afterwards!!!).

Can't afford the spa?
I got this a few weeks ago and have used it about once a week.The kit has five different attachments.I'm not sure how useful the two suction ones are...But, not being able to afford the spa for microdermabrasion, Im really happy I got this.
Even after the first time, I noticed how smooth my skin was although it doesn't stay that way for more than two days until you've used it for some time.
There is a small tube of microdermabrasion cream to use with one of the attachments.It's not like the spa definitely where you come out glowing like those beautiful pregnant ladies.
But, texture is better for me now and i'm starting to even out a little better so eventually lose the foundation hopefully.

Pretty Good curls for fine hair
I have very fine lair and a lot of it.My hair is a little below my shoulder and these curlers really do the trick.I only have to leave them in for about a minute or two for some nice waves. The set is small and it comes with 2 sets of clips - one for the big rollers and one for the small.Great size for travel, can squeeze into a suitcase and seem like it's not there.

The only issue is sometimes the clips leave a dent in your hair, so make sure you have a second after you take them out to adjust or undo the dent (looks like a tiny crimp horizontally).Overall, for the price, size and ease, I would definitely recommend it.

In regards to Jennifer's review
I simply wanted to coment on the review given by Jennifer.She complains that instead of the pictured set she recieved a pink and black set.Um, Jennifer, the picture IS a pink and black set.You said something about looking for a blue set so you bought this one.I'm not sure where you're logic is, perhaps you put your coment on the wrong page.I don't think Amazon is misleading at all, I think you simply made mistake.

The set that is sent is not the set shown in the picture
The curlers that they send is not the set shown in the picture. I have been looking for the blue set with the clips shown , but that is not what you get when you order this product. You get a black and pink set that has different horrible white clips.I was very dissappointed. I already own this set and do not like it at all. I thought I was ordering the set shown in the picture. Amazon has been very misleading.

Little Rollers/Big Curl
These little rollers are amazing.The "Large" and "Extra Large" are generous terms.At first I thought they would not work for me--I have long hair. The rollers are very small and compact and pack easily.They also deliver great curls, mine lasted 2 days and were nicer than the large set of
rollers I use at home.

Frustrating But Useful
If you are looking for a small travel set, this is about the most compact I have been able to find.I like the small size of this set but I find it is frustrating to use because the rollers are so heavy - the weight of the rollers makes it difficult to keep the rollers in my hair and they often fall out.Also, the metal pins that hold the rollers on also get loose which again, causes the rollers to fall out of your hair.I phoned the manufacturer when I purchased this set to ask why on earth they had made the rollers so heavy.I was told the heating elements are in each of the individual curlers (!) and this is how they can make the unit so small (there is no heating element on the bottom of the set - it is instead inside each roller.)Be forewarned, if your hair is too short, the curlers will not stay in because of their weight.I had a shorter haircut once, and there was no way I could use this roller set - the curlers would absolutely not stay in!I compare this set to an old set of Clairol hot rollers I have that is the greatest.The Clairol hot roller set has very lightweight flocked rollers with a plastic band around each end that sits up and stays cool to the touch.Because the stay cool end band sits up, it's very easy to keep your fingers away from the hot part of the roller.It's easy to touch the hot part of the Remington blue rollers which is not much fun - it gets very hot and burns your fingers.Back to the Clairol rollers - they are very easy to use and stay in, but the set I have is a set of 18 which is way too big for travel.Clairol had the best rollers.Another neat thing about the Clairol set was, you could have small, medium, or large rollers and they all fit on the same heating pin.Some other manufacturers sets would come with certain size rollers that you could not change, for instance, they'd have 6 medium and 6 jumbo rollers and you have no option to change it.With the Clairol set, you could order any size rollers you wanted so if you wanted all small, or more jumbo or any combo you wanted, you could have it.If any manufacturers are reading this review, P-L-E-A-S-E produce a 6 or 8 travel flocked roller set like the old Clairol sets.They would sell like hotcakes!The Remington is the best I could find for now, so go for it if you have long (at least shoulder length) hair and can stand a little frustration with trying to keep the rollers in!!! ... Well worth the money; will become indespensible
I have been straightening my hair with a dryer for years.Someone in a salon used this on me and I was stunned at the silky results.The price turned me off, but then again, I have NEVER gotten results like this with the $20 regular iron from the department store.A friend knew how much I adored this, but didn't want to drop the cash, and got it for me as a gift.

This has now become an indispensible part of my hair regimen.I usually blow dry my mid-back length hair with a dryer, since that's pretty fast, but I can be kind of careless about it because I follow up with this iron.I section my hair and get it super smooth and shiny with this iron.I love the small plate size because I can roll the hair around the edge of the iron and get it to curl under.

This keeps my hair going for days.I can just freshen it up with the iron, no need to dry my hair out by washing and blow drying every single day.If I come in contact with a little rain and get frizzy, I just touch up with the iron.I love this product!

There is no heat-up required with this.I plug it in and it is ready to go in a matter of seconds.The variable heat settings are great.I use a lower one and I've never needed to go to the top end of the range.

Highly recommended for anyone who takes pains to straighten their hair.You'll wonder how you lived without this product!

As far as the iron goes it works very well.I am Hispanic and chemically straighten my hair every six months.Usually I wash, condition, and dry my hair with rollers for an hour followed by another half hour of blow drying to get it straight.The process usually takes two hours at the salon and I never even attempt to do it at home.Two of my friends own this iron and recommended it to me.

I received my iron on Tuesday evening and 1 hour later my hair was straight.I washed and conditioned my hair as usual, then put some John Frieda Frizz Ease in it and divided it into five sections.I used my blow dryer only to get the excess water out of my hair.Then I divided each section into three and went through each section with the iron.An hour later I had straight hair!Never in my life have I been able to do my own hair at home without a professional and have it look good.

I recommend this iron but not for daily use, because applying any kind of heat (iron, blow dryer, rollers, hot comb) to any type of hair everyday will cause damage.I have used it twice since I received it, once a week is enough for me.

Well worth the investment
Previous to purchasing this item, I did a fair amount of research. On a website of flat iron reviews, this iron was rated number 2. I purchased it because of the damp/dry functionality.

The iron is SOOO easy to use! I'm able to straighten my daughter's long/thick hair in about 15 min. The consistant heat level is very impressive, as is the quick initial heating speed!

I do forward one MAJOR caution. As the iron can be used on damp hair, be careful in placing the iron near the scalp, as the release of steam may burst back toward the scalp.

Fast and it DOES straighten!!!
This flat iron is wonderful.I have the "not-enough-curly-nor-enough-straight" kind of hair.If I don't blow dry them they are fluffy and I hate this.This iron works like a charm.I have bought a few other irons with metal plates and larger plates, butane or electrical, but nothing compares to this iron.What was taking 1-hour or more to straighten takes now a REAL 10 minutes!The iron is ready to use within 30 secs and you can adjust the heat between 140F to 450F!!Ok, don't touch the ceramic plate because I promise it is HOT.I can easily recommend this product.ONE WARNING:I read other comments about the iron not working:take note that this iron WILL NOT work if you plug it in a wall sucket equiped with a RESET like the ones normally installed in the bathroom since this appliance is equiped with one. I don't know anything about electricity but I have noticed this myself when I tried to use it on such sockets.

Great Product, Great Service
I had ordered my Solia flat iron and when it came, it did not work. I tried everything and the iron never got hot. I was so disgusted because I spent a good amount of money and I got nothing out of it. So I called up customer service and they said they would replace it free of charge. I sent it back, and within 4 days my new iron came. My hair is naturally very wavy and stubborn when I try to change it. This iron is fabulous! It completely straightens my hair in less than 8 minutes. It feels very silky when I'm done, and because it has a wide range of heat selection, you can put it on a lower heat for bangs so that you don't damage them. It works great
The hairsetter heats very fast and curls stay for hours. The duo voltage will be good for traveling to Europe and Asia. It's better than blow dryer to me because it doesn't damage the hair and requires much less effort.

Quick & Easy even for thick hair

I have had several different hot air brushes and each developed overheating problems from a few weeks to a few months after purchase.The Conair is undoubtedly the worst of the lot.It didn't overheat; it burned out after 3 days.Even had it continued working, I was prepared to tuck it into a bottom drawer as it had so little air power that my hair had to be almost dry before use.I considered sending it back to Conair but you have to send them $7.50 for their return postage.That charge on top of my own postage charges makes their warranty worthless.

My favorite for years.
This has been my favorite for at least three years. I have been using Lighted Makeup Mirrors since I was 16 years old.Now that I am over 50, I need the magnified mirror to apply my cosmetics.The magnified mirror tends to make you look distorted.I will be returning the mirror for a refund.
The one feature that I really like on this model is having an outlet for my curling iron, however, I can do without that and I will go back to the Conair.

Simply the best.
When a similar make-up mirrow that I had had for years finally died on me last year, I went out searching for a replacement.I tried the new style oval ones.They were just awful.The mirror was too small and the lighting was depressing.Then I found this one.It's wonderful.You get a decent sized front mirror and two side mirrors that are especially helpful to someone like me who is very myopic.The lighting somehow manages to be extremely flattering (which helps you feel better about yourself) while at the same time shows everything you need to see and possibly alter a bit.

I'm sorry about the reviewer who had a problem with the lights, but that was probably just something that went wrong with one mirror.Mine is a treasure and infinitely superior to the newer style ones out there today.

I was a little nervous to buy this mirror because of a bad review that is posted.I bought it anyway because the price was much cheaper than the Clairol one that I was looking at.It's a sturdy and attractive mirror.Only complaint-it could be a little larger and the light a tad brighter.It is nice mirror at a good price and great for doing makeup and plucking eyebrows.

This is a fabulous product. Its best feature is that it has two sides with different textures. I like the rough side for my knees, feet, and elbows -- and the softer side for the rest of my body. I even went out and bought the handle for it. I've had a 100% success rate with all the Buf-Puf products I've tried, and this one's no different. Another plus is that it makes your soap lather so much!!!

The Buf-Puf Body Sponge wasn't a bad product, but if you have sensitive or soft skin, it may be a little too harsh for you. The Body Sponge produced almost the same amount of lather as a pouf, but you may want to consider using it on the dishes in the kitchen. If you run it through the wash a few times, it'll soften up a little. I wouldn't recommend it for daily use unless you get pretty dirty. But, it was good for removing dry and dead skin (scrubbing lightly), removing soap scum and cleaning crock pots and glass bakeware. I think it'd be better as a back sponge if it had to be used on the body.

Maybe it's just me..but this hairdryer did NOT work for me
I have really coarse, frizzy, and thick hair.Yes..a rat's nest.Haha.Anyway, I needed to get a new hairdryer and I had heard about the Conair Ion.I bought it.The price was good.The next day, I blew dry my hair and my hair was a complete frizz ball.It fealt like straw.I see this hairdryer is getting good reviews..that's why I'm saying it might just be MY hair that this dryer doesn't work for.But, yeah...just thought I'd put in my input.

Poor design, no power
What a let down!This dryer was very heavy and large (not good for travel), had a very weak fan (added considerably to drying time), and the on/off switches are positioned in a way that makes it all too easy to turn it off accidentally while trying to dry your hair.The ION technology did deliver softer, shiner, less frizzy hair, but over all the dryer was a disappointment.

Lives up to Expectations
My hair is short. 3 inches short. However, I recently decided that I was going to grow my hair out. The only problem; I want my hair to grow out healthy. I knew my hair dryer, at the time, wasn't going to help me grow healthy hair, but there was no way I was going to air dry my hair. It's got a natural wave that isn't so glamorous when left to dry on it's own. What's a girl to do? I looked to my hair idol, Jane Seymour. Upon searching the web for her hair secrets I discovered she used an ionic hairy dryer to dry her hair. Could this be the answer to my hair crisis?!

I bought this hair dryer about two weeks ago. So far I haven't been dissapointed. It's lived up to my expectations.

Number 1: My hair has a definate shine that wasn't there before. I'm a dishwater blonde that uses John Frieda's blonde shampoo to lighten my hair. Along with that and this hair dryer, my hair has glimmering golden highlights.

Numbe 2: Static & Frizz. Since my hair is so short I can't really say if it reduces static and frizz, because at this lenght this problem doesn't really plaque my hair. However, after my first use of the hair dryer I noticed my head and hair felt refreshed. On top of that my hair is much softer now as well.

Number 3: I wouldn't say this hair dryer cuts drying time in half. I say it takes about the same amount of time to dry my hair as before, maybe a tiny bit faster, but not much. However, it uses less heat to dry my hair. I think that's pretty impressive. My old dryer sometimes sizzeled my scalp when I had it on full blast in the past, if I kept the air blowing in one place for far to long. But this hair dryer doesn't do that.

Number 4: the only reason why I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the design. The hair dryer is a a bit more heavier then what I'm use to. It's got a high/off/low switch button that I accidently keep pushing (and it's not hard to push) in the middle of drying my hair. So instead of being able to grip my hand around the handle of the hair drying (like I'm use to) I have to hang on by holding the sides of the hairy dryer. Lastly, I wish the hair dryer was smaller. It's a little bit bigger then the hair dryer's I've used in the pass. I was hoping for a smaller one for when I travel.

All in all this is a great product. I highly recommend it. You have to get use holding the hair drying and what not, but it's a small price to pay for the wonders it does to your hair.

Great bang for the buck
Just got mine recently and wanted to share my experience on the product.First of all, there is two version of Conair's Ion Shine 1875 blower, 146ZR and 146ZDFR.The difference is where the attachment "pipe" is located.On the 146ZR, the "pipe" is located below the blow hole.On the 146ZDFR, the "pipes" are located to the right and left of the hole.

Ok.In terms of the complaints about the buttons being at a bad place, I didn't find that a problem at all. Now, my hands are pretty big (gloves size Large/X-Large).Unless you completely grip around the handle, I don't see how you can accidentally touch the buttons.I usually grip my dryer like a handeshake/golf club.So my thumb is usually in parallel with the handle.As such, none of my fingers goes anywhere near the buttons.

Another complain is about the weight.Now, this blower is not a "compact" blower, so I didn't find it to be that heavy (I would say it is slight heavier that the hotel dryers, but those are just plain awful).I've tested a few blow dryers at Bed Bath and Beyond (including the 18765 Vidal Sassons and Revlons) and found this to be about the same weight as the others.

In terms of air throughput, some people may be misled to think this doesn't blow hard.In actuality, this thing does push quite a bit of air through.Compared to my old Conair and Vidal Sasson (triangle looking one), this bad boy pushes quite a bit of air.The difference is the old blowers are blowing a narrower, but faster stream of air; Whereas this Conair pushes a slightly wider channel of air and not as "fast".So if you blow this at your hand, you'll feel the same "push" as any other blower, except it is not as concentrated.During my hair drying process, I do notice my hair dries a lot faster.

Another reason people might think this dryer blows less air is because it is pretty darn quiet.I've compared this to the Vidal Sassoon 1875 and thought the VS was quieter, but moved less air.

I have not noticed a great difference in hair shininess, but there was a noticeable difference in static.Oh, and my unit DOES come with a Concentrator and a Diffuser (mine is marked as 146ZDFR).

Overall, I am VERY happy with this blower.

I've had this dryer for about a year and share it with my sister. (im a teenager) Although they say you're supposed to be able to listen to music and hear over it because it's so quiet, you can't- it's just as loud as any dryer. The ion technology is good, but I don't notice that much of a difference.

Recently, this blowdryer started making weird buzzing noises- I'm asking for a new blowdryer for Christmas. I don't feel this is a great hairdryer, but it's fine.

I have thick hair so it takes about 10 minutes (give or take) to dry my hair after I've let it towel dry for a while. The buttons are placed weird and you cannot get a very good grip on it, it's not the lightest of all, but it works.

If you're looking for a cheap dryer with ion technology and low and high settings this is probably for you. After a year of this hairdryer, I'm asking for the Vidal Sassoon VS754 blow dryer now.

Incredible results!
I normally use a mild chemical straightener every 6 months to make my curly hair more manageable.The treated portion of my hair seems to respond the best to this product.
I received this iron and immediately used on my curly hair.It came out bone straight in just a few minutes!Two days later, no change.At that time I washed it and only used a detangler as I normally would, but no other products.After drying it, I used the Sedu, and it looked like someone else's hair.I've experimented to see how long it lasts, and today, almost a week later, it has little change.The only difference is the hair in the nape of my neck.I guess when I sweat, that's the hair that gets wet.Still, a little freeze in the roots seems to give it more body!!!

Supermodel Quality Hair in half the time!!!
Like everyone, I was reluctant to spend so much money on a flat iron.However, after buying three cheap flat irons and having them short out, I decided it was time for a real salon quality one.I chose the Sedu because it didn't have a slough of complaints for it shorting out on both amazon reviews and other sites.

I like this thing
I decided to become a metrosexual at the age of 41 and bought this neat unit to celebrate.I wasn't expecting much, but it does its job.It's simple to use and I can see the difference in my skin after using it only a short time.I'm especially fond of the microdermabrasian tool.I use it with some inexpensive scrub and my face never felt smoother.

I just bought this iron and it is the greatest one I have ever used.I usually go to a professional to get my hair styled but I wanted this one to use in between visits.At first I was going to buy the HAI one until the store I went to didn't carry that brand.I looked at this one and it was the same exact iron just with a lower price!I was a little skeptical at first because of this but by skepticism went out the window when I used it.My hair looked like it was professionally styled!My hair usually gets frizzy by the end of the day but not with this iron.It even curls your hair!I had a nice flipped hairstyle in no time, and the day after, I used it again and got a nice straight do.This iron heats up very quickly and did not burn my thin and freshly relaxed hair.It even has grooves on the outside of the iron that act as a comb when you turn it to curl the ends of your hair.I am very happy with this product.The only thing I wish is that I would have bought it off of this website first.I paid $50 at the beauty supply store.Oh well it is worth every penny!

Not Durable
When I first purchased this flat iron, I was really happy with it.It's not as harsh on the hair and somewhat easy to maneauver.However, the iron accidentally slipped out of my hand when I was using it and dropped onto the RUG in my bathroom.I was suprised when it completely cracked open and broke apart.I was shocked to see how easily it cracked.I don't believe the material it is made out of is durable. So, if you are going to buy it, make sure you don't drop it.

Very great straightening iron
This iron is great. It has 10 heat settings for fine to coarse hair types. I have ethnic hair and it gives it a silky smooth finish. I have used the "chi" and other expensive irons too but this does an equally good job on my hairconsidering I only use medium heat (about 5 setting). Just having gotten this iron, I love it so much. However, I am not sure about its durability but I hope it lasts a very long time.

Better Than My First Iron!
I had the bad experience of buying a Conair iron as my first flat iron. It was so bad I had to get a new one, and I chose this! I am very happy with my choice. It may not be as good as a 100 dollar GHD iron, but it straightens my naturaly curly hair, and the ceramic makes it damage my hair less!Also, it has several unique features I like, including the light-weight European design and the round edges for curling the ends.
I do not know how durable this product is because I got it recently, but I hope it lasts forever!

Easy to use, Easy to abuse.
This Item was given to my daughter for her birthday...I love it.We ended up doing every female in my family with it.I used to do hair wraps professionally and this is very easy to use.You can do some damage with it if you are not careful though, pulling out hair and such.However with some adult supervision and a little bit of determination you can have really good results with a minimum of effort and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to do more than one person which I like.And it was well worth the 20 or so dollars my M-I-L paid for it.I just wish I could find replacement parts.

This product used to be much more expensive earlier but now it is at a very reasonable price. definetely buyable!!

It ROCKS!
The Conair Quick Wrap is a great Hair tool! I wraps very easily! I also think that the beads are really cool and that the colors of string are neat! I have a suggestion after you wrap some of your hair then you can take a pen or pencil and wrap the just wrapped hair around that and then take the pencil out and you have spiral hair wrap! GET THIS ITEM!

be wary...
I am a proffessional hair wrapper, among other things, and I would be wary of this product. I have seem many people who have tried to use this product at home, and many have come to me to get their hair wrapped properly.This product, while very cost effective (compared to approx. $15-30 for each professional wrap), they are hard to use and often create uneven, messy wraps which do not look the same as the real thing. I have heard stories about people's hair getting caught in the device. I do not wish to bash this product, I just want people to beware that they do indeed get what they pay for and there is definitely a learning curve to be able to make good looking wraps with this product--dont' expect perfect results the first few times you use it.

Great Product
Last year I received this item as a gift.I have had a few of these wraps professionally done.They costed about twenty dollars each.This holds the wraps tight as long as you get a good knot at the bottom.It takes a lot of practice to get them to come out evenly.Definetly a fun product.You can buy some colored thread and use it match your outfit!! batterys
The mirror did come with a clock battery already in place, I later found out, but it was actually drained of it's energy. I had to take the mirror to a watch store at my local mall in order to get a new one, in addition to the 3 AA batteries for the light. Heads up.....

A Few Problems With This Mirror
I bought this for my roomate as a Christmas gift and it looked really nice once it was taken out of it's package. A few things you should know about the mirror though:

Although the product page does tell you that you need 3 AA batteries to operate the mirror, the batteries really only supply energy to the light feature. In the same compartment where the batteries are stored, there is another compartment completely where a smaller watch type battery is needed to operate the time feature.

The mirror did come with such a battery already in place, I later found out, but it was actually drained of it's energy. I had to take the mirror to a watch store at my local mall in order to get a new one, in addition to the 3 AA batteries for the light.

Another thing is that one month after all the mirror batteries were put in place and was put into use, the digital time feature began to lose some of it's black markings. example: the number 8 more resembled a 9. I'm not sure if this is due to the mirror already going through the newly installed battery's entire power cell or if the item is defective. Either way, it's not a good sign.

Also, though the product is advertized as having a non-fog feature, after a month of use the mirror did indeed begin to fog-up and needs to be wiped in order to get a good image. ... Read more

Very Poor Product
I wish I could have read reviews on this product before I bought it.
It was very difficult to put back into its case.
I only used it a few times. The last time it just shut off and never would start again. I would not recommend this product.

Defective product
I bought this hair dryer recently and was totally dissatisfied. It was very difficult to open the plastic case that housed the bonnet and hose. The dryer turned itself off periodically throughout operation. Save yourself frustation and buy a more expensive model!!

Inconsistent at best
This unit would be perfect but for the fact that if it stays on the highest heat setting for more than 15-20 minutes, it shuts off.Sometimes it shuts off after only 5 minutes if not "warmed up" first on a lower setting.I read the product instructions backwards and forwards, and none of this was mentioned.There was a mention of the product shutting off, but it was caviated with the point that this was a very unlikely possibility.Well, I use the product twice a week--once on high for a deep conditioning, and then immediately after for a wet set on a lower setting--and it shuts off twice a week.It just elongates an already lengthy process.Extremely frustrating. ... Wonderful Hair dryer
I got this hair dryer for christmas and I love it!It is quieter than my old quiet tone hair dryer and the handle is an ergonomic shape.I definately recommend it!The only thing that would make this dryer better was if it had a retractable cord.

My hair would dry faster outside in a light breeze...
This dryer works well enough if you have some extra time to spare. I have longer hair and most of the time I leave the house with my hair still wet. I've had great luck with Conairs before, but this one just doesn't have any power!

Nice and quiet
I bought this hair dryer for my wife because the one she had been using was so darn loud. This one is quiet enough that we can talk while she is drying her hair without having to raise our voice much, if at all. I asked her if this one dried as good as the other dryer did and she said yes. She said she also likes that there are multiple speed and temp settings. I'm just happy she'll still be able to hear in 20 years.

An Absolute Favorite
I've tried hair dryers with all the features and priced as much as $100, but none has been as good as this Conair model.The nozzle is oval and directs the air flow over a good section of hair. The dryer is quiet and dries my hair quickly and gently, shaving 5-6 minutes off my usual hair dryer's record.The best feature is that it leaves my wavy, slightly frizzy hair smoother and shinier so I only use my flat iron for touch-ups.I used to think I needed a hurricane-force dryer to get efficient stylingof my unruly locks, but sometimes my hair would become tangled.This hair dryer is a real asset on shampoo days.I purchased two of them to have an extra on hand.I never want to be without it.

Almost perfect
There is no doubt the dual ionic ports of this hair dryer give it an edge over ordinary hair dryers. My hair comes out smooth and silky every time, and you can actually smell the ions... like fresh air after rain. Also, the shape of the nozzle is great for spreading the air over a round brush. But the dryer could use some improvements in my opinion:

1. Give it more power! It is 1875 watts, the same as my ordinary hair dryer, but it just doesn't blow the air as forcefully. That accounts for the quieter tone of the motor, and for the longer drying time.

2. Lose the sparkles. The rubbery surface of the dryer is great for gripping, but it is embedded with little flecks of silver glitter. Last time I wanted glitter on a hair appliance I was using it to try and make my bangs stand up higher than Susie Porter's in 1987.

3. Add a cold shot button. The cool setting works well, but it's a pain to flip the switch back and forth all the time.

Overall, an impressive hair dryer. Not recommended for people with very long or thick hair, since the high setting is still a bit wimpy. ... Read more
