Doesn't Work
Don't waste your money on this one. Despite trying to shave with it at every possible angle and using various levels of pressure, it just doesn't work well. Its performance is spotty (literally) at best.

Norelco stealing money with this one
Don't buy this product!I got this for my wife for her birthday and I agree with the earlier reviewer that asked if it even has a blade in it.My wife asked me to check it out so I tried it on her leg and no matter how many times i ran it over an area, it felt exactly the same.The clippers on the side are the only thing that appear to snip hairs.what a waste of money.I should have just gotten her a mens razor.she suggests that the lady razors they make just never are as good as a mens razor for whatever reason.
I even tried it on my 5 o'clock shadow and there was no impact on it whatsoever!No whiskers were cut!
To be fair to Norelco, i use a mens norelco on my face every day and have had it for about 5 years and have only recently considered replacing it.
But my wife hates the Moi that I bought her.Look someplace else.

Not the best but very convenient
You will not get a very good shave with this.No matter how hard you press or how many times you go over your legs it will never be any closer than half a day's growth after a real shave.You trade a close shave for a decent shave with no fuss whatsoever.I like how I don't have to put on flip flops, take a long walk down the hall, and wait ten minutes for the shower to get lukewarm in order to clean up my legs.I just use it in the morning and my legs are usually acceptable.

It's not the best but I'm happy with it considering it's an electric razor.

Not worth the money
I bought this razor in January.It worked GREAT the first few times that I used it.Then it stopped working(cutting).It runs fine it just is not cutting the hairs anymore.It is also difficult to get the cutting block out to clean.It does not have a button. YOu have to squeeze the trimming blades to get the cutting block out.It is not user friendly.I am going back to Remmington.

Shaver tricked me
I read reviews on this site and thought I would take a chance. I thought it was the cutest thing ever.To my dismay, it didn't look as good as it did in the pictures.I charged it for the required 16 hours and then took it into the shower for the first time.The noise was a loud buzz that I just hated.The razor is very tricky.The middle aluminum makes it difficult to have both razor edges touch the skin.Anyhow, I tried it.On my legs (which had hair) it completely missed the hairs.I stroked it again and again and yet it still missed the hairs.Dissapointed, I attempted to shave my armpits.It didn't work there either.It left me with hair and a painful cut, which never happened with my Intuition.After this experience, I am returning the razor with its 60-day money back guarantee.In conclusion, I would recomenned not buying this but if you are just SO currious, buy it like I did and try it out.Good luck with that. ... So smooth!!
For as long as I can remember I've completely removed my pubic hair. I've tried mens shavers, razors, waxing, your name it. Most of which resulted in pain or cuts. This is the most pain free way of completely removing my hair from my most delicate of regions. I left me totally smooth to the touch, I always manage in baby oil afterwards to help my skin stay moist and supple.Now all I need to do is pursuade my man to use it!

I didn't believe it!
I was skeptical at first because I have tried other shavers that did not live up to their promises of a great close shave without any ittitation. This product did everything it was supposed to do!I was amazed how close the shave was. The feminine trimmer trimmed unbelieably close without any rash or irritation. Great shave, better than Norelco or Panasonic
This shaver beats the pants off the Norelco Spectra & Panasonic 8092, both of which I also tried.This shaver has 3 foils and gives me a closer shave than either of the above and does so in about 2/3 the time.It shaves smoothly with no irritation.The only negatives are that it's very noisy (much, much noisier than the Noreclo, somewhat more noisy than the Panasonic) and that the battery capacity is less than promised.Remington says the battery is good for 1 hour, I'd say it's half that.However, in light of it's great shave I'll live with it.My recommendation would be to go with the cheaper MS3-2700, the only difference between that and this is this has a better battery indicator and this has a "turbo" mode which makes it run faster -- I'm not sure it makes a difference.The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the battery life.

Much better than just the 'Mach 3', hubby says.
I got this for my husband because he had to shave too frequently and I thought they'd improve upon the Mach3.Well they did!This Turbo brand of Mach 3 is actually much better; his shave lasts longer, the blades last longer, and it leaves a very attractive smooth shave.I choose this one over that Mach3 power vibrating blade because, I don't know, a sharp blade the vibrates is asking for trouble in my opinion.Haha...

He's very happy with it and likes the shave.And speaking about money, if the shave and blades last longer than before, it's a great value!

Too expensive!
The problem I've encountered is that the Mach 3 Turbo System gets quite expensive. It is suggested by the manufacturer that you change blades when the blue strip is gone. If I follow this guideline, I end up changing blades about ten times a month. At $15 for 8 blades, that comes to almost $20 per month just in blades! For a shave that's smooth but not as close as I would like, that's a bit much.

Not All It's Cracked Up To Be
I used my new Mack 3 Turbo for about 6 months and went through a lot of new blades to be fair in my judgement.It does shave very close, but not closer the other 3 bladed razors I have used.After the 6 months of use, I found that it shaved very well until I had to shave over the edge of my jaw and chin where it failed to give a good clean shave right under my jaw-line and chin with the first stroke.I found if I try to shave closer, I got to many nicks.I only got a close shave in those areas after I lathered up again and shave agaist the grain, but at times I did get razor burn doing that.With out question, my old Gillette Sensor Excel with it's two blades did a much better job with only one stroke.The Sensor Excel seems to huge the surface of my face much better, and the Mack 3 Turbo seems not to keep all 3 blade in contact with my skins surface when going over my jaw and chin.All in all, I would have been happy with the Mack 3 Turbo's shave, it's great looks, and I really love the new handle.And most of the time, if I shave slower I got a great shave after lathering up again and shaving against the grain.However, I was not happy at all with the way the blade got dull so very fast, and there not cheap!This is by far the biggest disappointment with the Mach 3 Turbo and the reason I give it only 3 stars.It's also the reason I went back to my Sensor Excel until I got my new Gillette Sensor 3.I think the Sensor 3 shaves just as close at the Mach 3 Turbo and does ever better in the problem areas under the edge of my jaw and chin.The Sensor 3 blades are about $1.00 less per pack and last much longer then the Mach 3 Turbo Blades.And one more good thing, I can use both Sensor Excel Blade and Sensor 3 Blade with both my Sensor Excel and new Sensor 3!I'll keep the new Sensor 3 at home, and keep my old Sensor Excel in my travel bag to use on my many camping and fishing trips, vacation or when ever away from home.I would recommend the Gillette Sensor 3 over the Mack 3 Turbo because of these reasons.

Excellant Product
Provides a very clean shave, without any irriration. Excellant product, couldnt ask for anything better. As far as a review on price and how another razor provided a near as good shave, I think thats BS. After all, good products cost money, and plus, what do u expect, that every product that ever comes out will be like the next? Competition is better, so stop complaining

Swashbuckler ?

Yeah, remember those days, just about, say, four years ago, when the mighty 'Mach 3' Razor came out? Yeah, I remember. What a sensation! What a shave! What a waste of money.

The expensive Mach 3 line has practically surpassed every razor out there in quality shaving and design. But it will never surpass the meaning of the word 'deal'.

And now, just a couple of years back, we were introduced to the Mach 3 TURBO, the special edition of a Mach 3 razor. Hmmm, silver all the way through. Shiny! Very dashing. Wow.....shaves well too, now that the three blades are coated to reduce friction. That's a relief!

The razor has an evil price tag of about $11 canadian, and the razor cartridges go for about $10 for 4, or $19 for 8. I guess the Gillette head honchos needed a new fleet of 'Porsche Boxter' convertibles and a few yachts. Well, if they get us to spend the money on their stuff, then we'll make them look richer than real estate dumbbell Tom Vu and Sly Stallone put together.

I love a good, comfortable, gash free shave. And the Mach 3 is a terrific razor to get this wonderful shave I look forward to every morning. Mind you, the Mach 3 Turbo is just....well, too good of a razor. Kind of like an oversensitive Ferrari sport steering system. It'll get to every corner and turn...with scary precision. So, anti-friction coating or not, it's a serious blade.

Yesterday, I went and bought the less expensive Schick Extreme 3, and even with it's three blades, it gives me a shave nearly as close as the Mach 3. Okay, so that's an A- shave, and not an A+. Still, the 'Extreme' is a terrific razor, cuts the hairs well without leaving me the feeling that I have to be 'so' careful with it, and is a much more reasonable price for both the razor and blade cartridges than the mighty Mach 3.

Sigh. What's this world coming to? All this wasted money spent to find a razor that's a good price and gives you a great shave. Yeah....guess you could say that recently, I went to extremes.

Worst shaver ever made for women
My well meaning husband purchased this shaver for my birthday. After using it a few times for one hour on each leg to get a semi-smooth look, I thought it was a major waste of time and money. My beef isn't just with the shaver, it's with the ridiculous wall/outlet charger. Nevermind trying to plug in anything under it as it hangs a little down ...and you definitely can't plug in anything above it while the shaver is charging. You also have to push it into the outlet very hard to make it stay in to charge completely.
If you have baby fine hairs on your legs, then this is the shaver for you. Forget about under the arm or the bikini line, though, cause this "shaver" is more of a hair "saver".

Bought this one for the Mrs. and after having used a number of this type of shaver, she is quite satisfied with this one. Recharge is easy and the shaver does a great job.

It does work.
I would recommend this shaver for anyone who is willing to put time and effort into shaving.If you really work with it it does have a very close shave, and the other, less expensive, electric's I've tried don't get as close.But be warned, even though it can get close it can also nick your skin, although it is by far not as painful as using a triple blade razor and the nicks are not frequent what-so-ever.I'd prefer a triple blade, but due to my current finacial situation an electric is much less expensive and this one does do what it needs to do.I like that even if you let your legs get a little hairy, like in the winter, this works much quicker than a triple blade.It's not for everyone, but it works for me.

A great product!
This is a great shaver.If you are in the market for one, considered the Remington R-960.I am of Afro-American descent and was very skeptical about buying a rotary we shaver.I had always gotten excellent results using Remington shavers that were of the micro thin type to tackle the tough turf around my mug.With its ergonomic design, it was very easy to manipulate the shaver around in tough areas.I had considered purchasing that of another brand until I discovered that Remington makes one and now... I'm loving it!

Smooooooth Operator
This is the first time I have ever posted a comment about a product, but I am so enthusiastic about this shaver that I feel I must share my experience. With the first use of this product, I felt as if I had come out of the dark ages of shaving. My most hated daily routine has become a joy! I migrated from blades to foil shaving 5 years ago, and thought that was a remarkable achievement, in addition to conserving blood and possibly saving my life. Although the last Consumer Reports test showed that there was virtually no difference between foil and rotary shaving, I got the bug when a local store put all their rotary shavers on sale. They assured me that I could return any shaver for any reason, so I had nothing to lose. After reviewing online comments, and wanting a cord/cordless, I narrowed my search down to the Norelco 7885XL and the Remington R-960, which was quite a bit less expensive than the Norelco. I brought them home, waited for 2 days growth of beard, and performed a "face-off." (Pardon the pun) I shaved one side of my face with the Noreleo and the other with the Remington. I felt my face and noticed no big difference. But later, I noticed that the Norelco side felt slightly irritated. I was warned that there might be a transition period from foil to rotary, so this didn't concern me. But, I never did get an irritated on the Remington side. The next day I felt my face and could clearly tell that the growth on the Remington side was less than the Norelco side. My conclusion was that I got a closer shave with no irritation with the Remington--and for far less money! My lifelong belief that price does not necessarily equal excellence in a product was again reinforced. After the first few days I went back and got another R-960 for travel, and I have been happily shaving for the first time in my life because of this great shaver. The R-960 appears to me to be better built, certainly more stylish, and comes with a sturdy, high quality case. It has a good grip and requires absolutely no pressure onmy face in order to get a close shave. And no more stray hairs that my girlfriend usually discovers after it's too late to remove them. I never in my life believed that I would look forward to shaving--but now I'm in shave heaven!

I have owned Remington electric razors for over 30 years and I have always been satisfied with their quality. This is the first rotary shaver I have owned - I always got the square shaped triple foil type before this. The battery on the last one finally died and the foil cover wore out after about 12 years. The first time I used this new razor I thought something was wrong with it. It is so quiet that I thought the motor was malfunctioning. The cutting action was so smooth that I assumed that it was not working at all. Surprise - it was giving me a great shave and I never even realized it. Quiet, gentle - a great shaver... Is it possible to improve upon perfection?
I remember when I used to use disposable razers, and not only would I get cuts and nicks, they would actually hurt, irritate, and annoy. Shaving cream helped to alleviate the problem, but did not eliminate it by any means. Then I got the Mach 3...

The Mach 3 Turbo gave me such a close shave it was amazing, and because of the lubricant and precision of the blades, I didn't need to use shaving cream any more (a great relief because they made my skin ich). Recently I saw the M3Power blades, and decided to give them a go.

Wow. Is it possible to improve upon perfection? I think so. It could just be my imagination, but I think I get even less bleeding with these than the regular Mach 5s (and most of that was because the shave is so close it breaks the skin). The new lubricant used doesn't irritate my skin even slightly (the old one did). And not only that, I think the shave is even closer. Hard to believe I know. I know that I for one am definitely sticking with these new blades. Kind of nice that Gillete made them fit the old razors, don't you think?

I had been using an electric razor for a while to keep my skin from getting irritated, but occasionally I would use a Mach 3 to get a more "clean" feeling. I thought at first that the M3 Power was just a gimmick, and when I first took it out of the box, I thought so even more (you push a button, and the whole thing vibrates). But somehow, it works! This thing gives an amazingly close shave, and I notice NO irritation. I've stopped using my electric razor and now use the M3 Power pretty much every day.

Schick Bring This Razor Back!!!!!
After three years of being with out this razor I finally found one online and am so excited to again have the best razor again.Since I lost my previous razor three years ago I finally broke down and bought the Venus.The Venus is super expensive and the shave doesn't even begin to compare!!!!I very much hope that Schick reads these reviews and will bring this razor back!

Personal Touch--the ONLY women's razor
I also have been shaving with my Personal Touch razor for over 20 years.I've had to replace the handle a few times only because I've lost/left them somewhere.I have tried some of the "new" razors and concur with all the other reviewers--Personal Touch is the best and replacement cartridges are no where to be found locally.THANK YOU Amazon for keeping these blades available as SCHICK has no idea what they are doing by discontinuing this line of razors.I was already a repeat customer--you've now just strengthen this customer's loyalty to you.

The BEST woman's razor ever
Unlike most of the other reviews i did not grow up using this razor. When i started shaving i tried every razor on the market, then my mother bought me a Personal Touch Razor, and i have been using it ever since. I was forced to search for a new razor a year ago after i left my razor in a london hotel room. This search forced me to try Schicks newer produts, in addition to products by every other razor company on the market. NOTHING COMPARES to the personal touch. This razor is the BEST razor on the market, and the company needs to bring it back it is without fault. Even if i am in a rush and shaving too fast, i still do not nick or cut myself, something that has happened many times with the many other inferior razors. There is no comparison when it comes to this debate. This is the best, and i agree with the other women on this site, and Schick needs to bring it back.

Personal Touch Razors
I have been searching high and low for the Personal Touch Razors.I'm assuming that this product line is being phased out by Schick since is is so very difficult to find in retail stores.In my opinion the "new" items that Schick has placed on the market are patently inferior to the Personal Touch product.The new products are clumsy, awkward and flimsy.I was thrilled when I found some remaining Personal Touch products on-line and have purchased enough to last me at least 6 years.I'm hoping that the Schick company comes to its senses and reinstates this wonderful product during that time.I can understand wanting to upgrade a product line, but to replace it with an inferior product?I really do not understand that logic.

Great electric shaver...
This is a great electric shaver.I bought it after my old norelco's battery died on me.This one shaves much closer than the old one, and the battery life is amazing.I love the fact you can clean it under a faucet with soap.I also prefer foil to rotary.I gave it four stars only because it does not seem to shave very well on my neck.It takes a while to shave around the adam's apple.Other than that, it's a great purchase.

Close, comfortable shave
Shaves as close as my mach 3 manual razor but without the cuts and razor rash!! I had an old Braun 6550 that finally died on me. With the panasonic 8016 you don't feel any of the pulling and skin burning that I did with my older Braun. Especially great to have for areas under the chin and neck where I used to get razor rash with a manual or older electric razor.
Very satisfied with my purchase, should have made it earlier!

Also holds on to shavings inside the razor a lot better than my braun that let more out that kept in. 8016 had vitrually no mess.

Easy? Forget about it.
I purchased this item because it specified that it was "easy to use."That, however, proved to be a giant lie.I found it extremely difficult to properly use this product.It requires the user wet her fingers, to insert a stylus into each individual hair follicle at the proper angle, hold it there for 15 seconds, then tweeze the hair out.Hair follicles are small, and with wet fingers, it's hard to operate the stylus.Also, the quality of the device was very low; it falls out of its container easily.I don't doubt that it works, but I was unable to actually use it.Maybe someone with more manual dexterity would find this product helpful, but I would not recommend it.

Poor Choice
Be careful with this trimmer. The settings change without warning and the next thing you know your beard is gone. The vacuum unit is a joke. I recommend a cheaper trimmer without all the bells and whistles.

Warranty replacement: what a difference!! MUCH BETTER
I wrote the review above. I finally decided that my original T870 had to be defective, so I followed Norelco's instructions and took it to a local dealer, who ordered me a replacement. What a difference!! My original one must have been some early production model that should never have made it to market. The replacement has a strong housing which doesn't deform. The motor is powerful, the noise is a lot lower (it sounds normal) and the performance is that of a powerful trimmer that is very capable. It trims very well, and the vacuum function works well, also. THIS IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. I can now very confidently and strongly recommend this trimmer. If you buy this trimmer, and find that its performance is the way I described it in my original review, TAKE IT BACK. Get a replacement. You'll then have an excellent trimmer with a useful vacuum feature.

A less-than adequate attempt at a good idea
I give this product a C-minus, which is an average of the times I'd give it a B-plus and the times I'd give it an F. The idea of having a little vacuum to collect the clipped hairs when you trim your beard/moustache is a great idea; the problem with this unit is thatthe implementation isn't great. First: the trimmer is big, and it can get unwieldy to use, you never know where to hold it. (More on that in a moment.) Secondly, it sounds like a buzzsaw. It's not punishing, but it's the first thing you notice when you switch it on. Literally, it sounds like a miniature buzzsaw. Third, the trimmer unit is hard to get used to, and works awkwardly, it doesn't move very well over your chin and such. Because the unit is designed to be held in one very specific way when it's cutting (so that the hairs can be sucked into the chamber) you always have to be focusing on holding it the right way, or things get awkward. But the biggest problem with this unit is that the case isn't strong enough, and you can practically stop the vacuum motor by gripping the unit in certain ways. You can't hold it too firmly around the middle, or the unit will slow down so much it won't cut (on a full charge). You canliterally affect the speed of the motor by pressing different parts of the case. (And I'm not talking about a gorilla grip, either.) I try to hold it lightly, to keep the motor from slowing down and so I don't block the vacuum's vents, but it seems that every time I use the thing it behaves in a different way. The last time I used it, if I squeezed the case at the top, the motor spun faster and better! All in all, you never know what to expect with this unit. The first time I used it to shave my head, it worked well, and did a good job of collecting the hairs (but not all of them, and I did have to empty the chamber a few times during). However, the last time I did it it was a nightmare, I couldn't get the unit to function, it kept slowing down and pulling hairs. The only way I could get it to work properly is by holding it precariously at its bottom. (Again, on a full charge.) Similar situation with my beard: sometimes it works fine, collects the hairs nicely, and easily shapes my facial hair evenly, but other times it's a pain in the butt, as it slows down, or won't move smoothly over my chin, or won't give me an even cut unless I go over the same area again and again. Eventually, I hope I'll get to the point where I can figure out this unit's eccentricities and get it to work well, because it's a good idea. It's just that this implementation still needs work. My last trimmer was a Wahl Groomsman that was poorly-designed junk; its design allowed clipped hairs to get into the mechanism, and if you tried to take it apart to clean it out (which you shouldn't have to do) it was nearly impossible to get it back together, and you saw how cheaply it was made. Clearly they expect it to last maybe a couple years, and then they expect you to go out and buy another. For that reason, I would not buy another Wahl product, which limits choice a lot. So I'd like this unit to work! If nothing else, if Norelco gave it a stronger case that resists deformation when you held it, I suspect that would cure a lot of problems. ... Read more

ear hair expert
I bought this Conair unit for the car (!)-(yup!) because I am a wreck in the mornings, and often forget to use my "old reliable" Panasonic one at home after shaving!...Moral of this story: this Conair thing ain't even worth the cheap price. It is loud, and doesn't cut close. Like giving your ear hairs a crew cut.

Ok I use it, but it could be better.
Interesting device with two drawbacks which are sensory driven.One is that when you use it in your ear it is quite noisy.I wouldn't want to lose my hearing just to trim a little ear hair.Useable but loud.Using in the nose, it smells of light machine oil (or 3 in 1 oil) even after a year of use.Again, usable but could be better. As for actual cutting, it is pretty good but areas need to be repeated before being completely removed. Hmmm, a nose hair trimmer with an odor, and an ear hair trimmer that's too loud.Is there a better product out there on these two issues?
