Natural products should smell better
I really do like Burt's Bees lip balm, not in this kit, and so I wanted to try other products that were all natural and cruelty free and not a fortune to buy. The only thing in this kit I might buy again is the pore mask because I really liked the clean feeling and the softness of my skin after using it but I will not use the other products because they smell like an old basement. The hand cream really does make your dry skin better on contact but it stinks!! I simply cannot use it. All respect to Burt's Bees but they should really formulate their stuff in regards to scent.

If you have tried any of the skincare kits by Burt's Bees you will have already discovered some of their delicious and healing beauty products. Delicious because of their intoxicating scents and healing because of all the natural ingredients selected for their nurturing properties.

The kit also comes with an Herbal Glossary which has intriguing information about ancient secrets and mysterious traditions. The booklet contains information on marsh mallow, evening primrose, rosehips, royal jelly, parsley and chamomile. Each product features a unique ingredient.

Marshmallow Vanishing Crème - Delicious banana scented cream with a secret vanishing formula. Also contains mango butter.

Evening Primrose Overnight Crème - Rich, smooth and decadent with the addition of avocado oil. The ylang ylang oil makes this the perfect all-over body massage cream. It is less oily than a almond oil and just perfect for soothing skin after a warm bath. Ylang Ylang oil is also known for awakening passion. While the fragrance in this cream is not overly strong, the texture and fragrance will make you feel more sensual and it can also help to elevate the spirit and expand the mind. Shea Dècolettè Crème - absolutely the most decadent cream ever made to date. I fall to temptation and smooth this heavy cream all over my body. I love the scent and it makes me feel dreamy and sleepy and it is perfect for an after-bath entire body treat. It is formulated for the neck, chest and bust area, but you might find yourself buying additional kits just so you can have the smaller size cream for your purse.

Royal Jelly Eye Crème - A tiny little sample of an overnight treatment. I've used this on my lips because it is so moisturizing.

Parsley Blemish Stick - A tiny glass jar with roller ball style application. Eleven ingredients soothe and heal the skin.

Pore-Refining Mask - Most amazing pore cleansing mask I've found to date! You mix the green powder with a little water or other liquids to make unique masks. An unforgettable skin experience because you will notice results after the first use and be back here ordering the larger size green clay mask. It is that good!

If you are looking for a unique travel kit that will make you feel like you are spoiling yourself at a spa, this is the Burt's kit to buy. Although, I have to say that this kit does not contain the lemon meringue pie scented cuticle cream and it is just essential! Great for the overnight bag!
I got one of these to store in my overnight travel bag. The range of products includes foot cream, toner, two face creams (marshmallow and primrose), a "decolletee" cream--body cream, a blemish stick. The only thing missing is a cleanser. The two little jars are great for taking with on trips, and can be refilled. The blemish stick is great for those ill-timed zits that appear during stress of travel or work. Very useful.

For mature skin
I purchased this kit and enjoy all the product included.Inside you find Evening Primrose Overnight creme, Vanishing Marshmallow daytime creme, Rosewater and Glycerin Toner, Parsley Blemish stick, Royal Eye Jelly, and Decollette Creme.However, the items inside are for mature or sensitive skin, and I really don't need the intensive moisturing that this provides.The parsley blemish stick is particulary good though, clearing up my skin.I love the toner, which is for any skin.It's a nice way to try products with out commiting to a large bottle or jar.It definately sold me on Burt's Bees products as I am back looking for more. ... I liked this lotion quite a bit. It soaked in quickly and didn't leave behind any greasy or sticky feeling. The smell was a little strange but it faded after a bit. What I really liked was that I didn't get itchy anywhere I used it, which happens with a lot of lotions. I have a friend with very sensitive skin and I suggested this to her.

This lotion worked well. It smoothed the dry skin on my baby, was very gentle, and didn't irritate her sensitive skin. It does, however, have a very overpowering smell when you first open the bottle. We got used to the smell very quickly and after the second day it wasn't even an issue, but at first it very, very overpowering. I'll continue to use this lotion, and I would recommend it to my family.

Green Heaven
I bought a bottle of the Mint Thyme for my desk at work. Every time I put some on, my mood lifted. The natural mint scent was mildly invigorating. The lotion was nice and light so I was able to pick things up immediately without leaving a greasy residue. And not only was the lotion itself wonderful, the bottle was really beautiful. I say "was" because somebody swiped it off my desk one day as I was busy at the copier. I guess I can say that it is truly a thing of beauty (and envy).

Heavenly Evening Treat
Just as you are going to bed, apply this lotion to your hands and feet. It is just bliss. Lavender is known for its ability to promote relaxation. This is the bottle I keep next to my bed for an evening treat. This helps to nourish your hands and feet while you sleep.

I don't like the way this body wash ...
I don't like the way this body wash smells, so I don't recommend it. Unlike most other Neutrogena soaps, it has a moderately strong floral scent, sort of sweet and musty, which lingers on your skin after a shower. If I hadn't found the fragrance so unpleasant, I would've given this product four stars. It's thicker than Neutrogena Rainbath -- thick enough to use with or without a washcloth. It also lathers well, rinses off easily, and didn't dry out my skin like some soaps do.

I really enjoyed using this product. The scent was very pleasant. A small amount of the product produced a large amount of luxurious lather. I started using this soap at the end of the winter season, when my skin was still quite dry. I noticed an improvement in the dryness of my skin within three days. I was amazed because I've used other moisturizing soaps before to try and combat my dry skin, and none were as helpful as the Neutrogena body wash! The only problem I had with the product was the container. I had a difficult time opening the cap. This could be designed better. I'd definitely spend the extra money on this product.

I loved this product! The Neutrogena Moisture Boosting Body Wash was great in the shower as well as in the bathtub. I really noticed that my skin felt more moisturized after I used it in the shower for the first time. I also used it as a bubble bath and it created a lot of bubbles and lather. It has a pleasant, clean scent, but it isn't overpowering, like a lot of other bath products. It isn't a strong floral or musky scent. Great and Invigorating Bath Gel
This bath gel was great to smell in the morning. It has a nice refreshing herbal scent. However, it doesn't lather as well as the other bath gels which is ok since most of the ingredients are organic. Uplifting to the skin and your senses. Great buy!

Gentle on the skin
This is one of my favorite bath gels, much nicer than bar soap in the shower and made with good essential oils, It's also a good value. Avalon is one of my favorite organic brands. The gel is scented beautifully yet is no more expensive than artificially scented shower gels. Recommended.

An Introduction to Natural Remedies
Burt's Bees has wonderful sample sizes to introduce you to natural remedies. These items relieve the discomfort of minor skin irritations from gardening or outdoor adventures. You may also want to keep a kit around for burns, bruises, stings and scrapes.

Lavender Mint Toothpaste - A tingly vegetable and chalk based toothpaste with ingredients like the oil of peppermint, spearmint and clove. Cranberry extract purifies and refreshes the gums while the bentonite clay scrubs and polishes your teeth. Worth trying if you are allergic to regular toothpaste. The addition of geranium oil and lavender was a pleasant surprise.

Res-Q Ointment - One of my favorite soothing remedies with a slightly medical scent. You can use this on bumps, bruises, burns, stings and scrapes. It is made with sweet almond oil, olive oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, wheat germ oil, vitamin e, lavender oil and comfrey extracts. Lavender heals the skin faster and vitamin E helps to prevent scars.

Lifeguard's Choice Weatherproofing Lip Balm - Perfect for outdoor sports in the summer or winter. Made with beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, vitamin E and delicious things like peppermint oil. Also contains comfrey root extract and rosemary extract.

Hand Salve - This product produces feelings of elation for some reason. I think it must be the flower extracts. Ingredients: Sweet almond oil, olive oil, beeswax, vitamin E, comfrey extract, rosemary oil, lavadin oil, flower extract, eucalyptus oil. This is a greasy product that will seal in moisture and you can apply it at bedtime or before gardening.

Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar - I've used this as a soap because of the oat protein that seems soothing to my skin. I also like the scent of the rosemary in the shower.

Feeling Flaky Shampoo - A total scalp and hair cleanser that is perfect to use every few weeks to wash away residue from other products. Makes your hair and scalp feel super clean and nourished. Especially good for a dry scalp in the winter.

And now for the highly scented product...

Poison Ivy Soap - A strong smelling soap, so best to keep this in a plastic soap container you would use for travel. This soap is perfect if you are outdoors in the summer and your skin gets irritated. Definitely a must while camping or after gardening.
