UGH....
I tried to use this stuff for my old acne scarring and for other discolorations in my skin(tried to get an even tone all over). This stuff doesn't work! It's very drippy and runny, and you have to use it like three times a day(who has time) and you get way too discouraged because you don't see ANY results until months later! I didn't see any at all! great product for middle-aged pores...
I awoke one morning and looked in the mirror as I was brushing my teeth,and noticed that I had pores on my nose that were big enough to drive a car through..so I quickly looked for anything by KMF that I thought would help...and this product does.They haven't disappeared,of course,but at least they are somewhat refined/diminished.Hard to explain,except now I don't have to use spackling compound before I put my make-up on in the morning!
All of KMF products have always been cruelty-free,and the prices are great,and...the products work!!

they're still there, but they're smaller

This product does just what it promises
I give this product 4stars because there is this sort of burning/new product odor when you first turn it on. However, the product itself does just what it says & it works fine. (To get rid of the odor, I put a drop of dish detergent or fragranced spray in the base with the water & let it run for 30min. - after that it was fine.) I followed the instructions & put a towel over my head for most amount of steam ... and it provides a great deal of steam! It's convenient, I'm pleased with it's performance and very glad I bought it compared to boiling water on the stove.

Where's the steam?
This thing is ridiculous.The fact that it even HAS a low & high setting is a joke.Even at the highest setting, it barely creates any steam. What's the point?A facial steam machine should do two things:

1. create warm/hot steam
2. push it towards your face

This unit does neither. A pathetic product.

Made me break out
I had heard that hydroquinone was pretty good for fading both scars and red spots from acne. Porcelana was a suggested product so I bought it. I started using it at night and a few days later I started to break out really bad. Now granted, I break out from a lot of things, but this is only the second moisturizer I've ever broken out from. I stopped for a couple days and it started to clear up (I use Proactiv). I started using Porcelana again ... and started breaking out again. So I'm finally stopping and pretty much see it as a waste of $13 (after shipping). It's very thick and heavy, so I'm not surprised it was somehow clogging my pores. It normally takes 3 months to see any signs of improvement, but for me it isn't worth breaking out when I'm using the product to try to get rid of acne scars ... and all it's doing is causing more. ...
