I ordered the mattress pad on Friday and received it on Tuesday.I'm totally happy with how quickly it arrived and it's condition.It's for my daughter at college and (so far) she's thrilled with it.I'm glad that I read other reviews and ordered the 3" twin XL... it should fit perfectly.The best part of this is that, after shopping around, this was the best price that I could find and it doesn't appear to be any different from the higher priced foam mattress pads.

This stuff is great.I would suggest 3" at a minimum. Anything less is just too thin.Note that it will take on many of the properties of whatever is underneath it.At first, I had this on top of an old mattress.This was actually a vast improvement, but still not what I expected.I read online that people have been ordering regular foam mattresses (like packing foam) and using those as the base.I tried that out and WOW!what a difference!Be sure to get something fairly dense for the base.Otherwise, you'll get that weird "sinking" feeling when you lay down.The topper/base combination has been an amazing success.I know it's a cliche, but it's literally like sleeping on a cloud :) ...
