1st cycle using the CPFM= Pregnant with TRIPLE BLESSING!!!
I got PG (with Triplets!) during my first cycle using the CPFM. The monitor was clearly able to pinpoint my exact "peak" time of the month, and it was SO easy touse. My favorite thing about the monitor is that it takes the "guesswork" out of knowing if you're going to ovulate or not, and no need to worry or stress over not being able to read traditional ovulation tests. This monitor is definitely worth the $ and I recommend it to anyone who is TTC!

We had great success with the Clearblue FM!!
We used this FM for about 3 menstrual cycles before we got pregnant.It is very easy to use and it's great to know exactly when to time sex, if you want a baby!Highly reccomend this product!!

Trying for our second Clearblue Baby!
I bought this item about 3 years ago, and my clearblue baby is going to be 3 in March.We had tried for 3 years before before purchasing this moniter, my cycles are somewhat irregular so it was hard to detect my peak fertility days.We concived on the third month of using this moniter!We are now going to use it agian to concieve another child.What a great product for helping to concieve.Very easy to use and understand, takes out all the

Clearly showed ovulation, but question accuracy of temps
Charting the temperatures taken by this thermometer clearly showed me which day I ovulated.It was also clear which day my next cycle would start because of the drop in temperature.I'm not sure how accurate the individual temperatures are though.Every sample BBT chart I am able to find, including the one that comes with the thermometer, has 96.9 as the lowest possible temperature.My pre-ovulation temp was usually lower than that (96.2 - 96.6).The instructions state that you should have three consecutive hours of sleep before taking your waking temperature and I rarely sleep that well.Perhaps this is the cause of my low temperatures.I've also read that basal thermometers should measure hundredths and this one only measures tenths.At any rate, my cycle has a clear trend so the themometer does its job.

When you turn on the thermometer, a light comes on and the previous temperature that was taken and stored in memory is displayed.The light then goes off and you can take your temperature.The thermometer beeps while measuring your temp.It usually beeps about ten to fifteen times for me and then a long beeping sound lets me know it is done.At this point, you can press the button, the light comes on and your temperature is displayed.The thermometer then turns off.It will automatically turn off later if you forget.The beeping does not wake my husband and since I take my temperature very early (around 4:30 AM when it is still dark), I find that the beeps help to keep me awake.

if this beeping wakes your husband up or prevents you from falling back asleep i pray to god you don't have traffic going down your street in the morning!a passing car would make more noise than this thermometer!great buy, i've checked it against my glass thermometer and it's very accurate and fast.highly recomended.

VERY Annoying Thermometer
This thermometer drives me & my husband crazy! It beeps constantly while it's taking the temperature, concluding with a series of rapid beeps. I miss my old thermometer that beeped only once at the end.

I usually wake up for the first time in the morning a couple of hours before our alarm goes off, and I take my temperature then. With our previous thermometer it was no big deal to do it that way, but this noisy thermometer wakes us both up and we have trouble falling back asleep afterwards.

Definitely avoid this thermometer if constant beeping noises bother you first thing in the morning!

a great little tool
I bought this thermometer about a month ago and have been using it to take my basal body temperature every morning. I think it is a wonderful product. Although some reviews said the beep was annoying, I think it is actually a very important feature. It beeps to let you know it is placed correctly. I sure like the peace of mind when I hear that. The display is lit and very easy to read.

I can not believe that someone said she had to run into bathroom to check her temp,because she did not want to wake her husband. Come on! The beep is not loud at all. And..didn't she know that basal temp should be taken the first thing in the morning without any unnecessary movements? I think husbands should actually help wives take basal temp by inserting the thermometre into their wives' mouths. This way, we can reduce our movements to minimum! My husband does this for me everyday!

One more suggestion for those who want to keep your latest result in the thermometre's memory for more than one reviewing. Whenever you turn on the thermometre to review the result, turn it off BEFORE the display begins to flash. After it flashes, it will become blank and ready for your next test. Your last temp will not be there any more. As long as you shut it off before it flashes, your latest result will always be there till you take your basal temp next time.

By the way, 1/10 degree F is precise enough for basal temp. Non-basal temp thermometres are 2/10. 1/100 is not necessary at all since on basal temp chart, we only record like 97.6, 98.2...

I've had 2 and LOVE them
If you are going to chart, you NEED a reliable basal body therm. This one is my personal favorite. I like how it beeps to let me know it is in the right place and when it is done.

Not worth the money!!!
You are better off using your money for disposable test sticks. Why? Because:
1.Getting up in the middle of the night (or early morning) to pee throws off the monitor's result, leading to the wrong "peak" days.
2.Missing the first test day (cycle day 6 or so) throws off the monitor's result, leading to the wrong "peak" days.
(Note: I confirmed with my doctor and other tests that this monitor gave the wrong result, missing ovulation by four days).
3. There is no ability to scroll back and forth to review previous month's data.
4.The setting of the time window for testing is very unintuitive and inconveniently restrictive.
5.Per the company's spokeperson, the monitor only picks up one "peak" day and automatically labels the following day also as "peak" regardless of what is actually detected in the urine. This is problematic because the monitor can get the first peak day wrong for the reasons above and, because of this feature, does not allow you to continue to monitor to detect your real peak. (Actually, it does allow you to submit a sample but the result is pre-determined).
6.There is actually very little useful information about the so-called period of "high" fertility preceding the "peak" time. The monitor doesn't actually use your previous cycles like it claims to (so say their representatives when you call to ask about it).
7.The representatives of the company are not very knowledgeable about their product, refuse to share information about how it works on grounds that it's proprietary, and generally are quite rude when you call with questions.

You would do just as well and save a lot of money buying the inexpensive test sticks.

Skeptic turned believer!!!
I just want to start by saying we had been trying for quite some time and I purchased this with little hopes it would help.I ordered this in the beginning of January and I am happy to say that we are expecting our 1st child!!!!!I have always used those other sticks and thought they were fine but I was testing at the wrong time or the "end" of my peak time.It is more $ than the regular sticks, but it will help you to narrow down your peak and fertile days.Our 1st month using it it worked and showed me I ovulate earlier than I thought, I recommend it if you have tried other methods besides medical.Good Luck!

Print out service warning!!!
I agree with the other reviewers that this is a good product.But beware if you are counting on the print out service.

First, when you call to inquire about it they tell you that they only provide a one time print out service as a courtesy.If you need it in the future they will not provide it. They also ask for the barcode from your monitor which I assume they use to track requests.They then explain that they have a send a data card and a permission form to you which you returnto them.Then they print out the results and send them to you.Which obviously takes some time.So don't plan on getting the information quickly.

If anyone knows a repeatable and quicker way to get the data out of the unit please email me.

Cheap and worth it, but results not as early as promised
These little strips are worth a buck to pee in a cup.I tried the first test a week before I thought I thought I'd start my period this month...negative result.So I figured I'd should expect aunt flo.My cycles are long (35-38 days), but at day 40 I thought I'd test again.I got a faint result line.Excited but leary, I bought a store baught test and it too had a faint line.Happy to say the doc has confirmed I'm 5 weeks pregnant.Yaye!

Tip:Since my cycles are long, I didn't know when I was ovulating so I used this company's ovulation strips.I got a positive ovulation result 2 days in a row last month and hubby and I did our thing the second positive day...it worked!

Cheap and fabulous... a winning combination.
I couldn't believe the price on these...I am a very impatient person and loved testing every morning without the guilt that I was throwing away a lot of money.I got a positive two days before my period was supposed to come.Even if the line is real faint... it's still a line!I'm going to recommend these to everyone.

they never show positive result, it can cost you a baby
I used it about 5 time last month and did not see any positive result. So I did my regular exercise. Then I got a positive result from blood test in my doctor's office, and now I mis-carry.

Mixed feelings..
I bought this to chart my ovulation so my husband and I could prep to have a baby next year.I did get the ferning patterns during the time that seemed to be around my ovulation dates but I also got the ferning patterns right after my menstruation too.On another occasion, it had no ferning pattern when I expected it to have them but I wanted to test this it out, so I tried it again in the day time even though you're supposed to do the test only once a day in the morning after you wake up.There were the ferning patterns!So I'm just a little skeptical about how well it works.Or maybe my saliva was muddled in the morning.So I wouldn't rely solely on this although it could help if used continously and in ideal conditions.

Great little ov-u-lation kit, nicely done..
My wife had me buy this b/c we will try to be conceiving a few more times and we were tired of purchasing the throw away kits for 8/10 bucks a clip, and this little tester has done us well..
we aren't preggers yet, but this has helped and is easy to use, just a little saliva in the morning and you are ready to do the horizontal mamba baby!

Exceeded up to expectations
After some researching on ovulation kits, my husband and I settled on this one.First of all, it is completely reuseable.This was hugely attractive since I am so irregular that my doctor wondered if I had ever ovulated.I would have spent a fortune on the urine tests which only come 7 or 9 in a package because I wouldn't have known which days to test.
Also, this isextremely easy to use and the directions are easy to understand and follow.Basically the principle as I understand it is that in your dried saliva when you are ovulating is a ferning pattern which you can see through this device.It is amazing....they have a picture on the box and when you see what looks like a mess of pine tree on the slide...you know it is positive.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this machine....I would recommend also purchasing either lens tissue or one of those microfiber cloths that you might use to clean a camera lens or glasses with.It helps you to make sure that you've cleaned the slide well in between days to see the results accurately.
Try it if you want to get pregnant....for someone who never thought it could be possible....I am now going on my 9th week!

FINALLY !!!
Finally a way not to spend $300 to determine ovulation.This unit works and costs nothing compared to the urine tests.

If you don't know when you ovulate, buy these...they work!
My cycles are long (35-38 days).We had been trying to get pregnant for 6 months, but shooting way too early in my cycle missing the fertile window.I bought these strips last month, got a positive 2 days in a row 3 weeks into my cycle and we did our thing the second positive day.Happy to say I'm 5 weeks prego today!

Shipping to Canada
These strips were a great bargain over the ones available in Canada(which cost about $55 CAN for 5-9 strips). I bought 10 OPK strips and 2 pregnancy test strips for $21 CAN. Just be aware that it took about 3 weeks for them to arrive, so if you're in a hurry buy the horribly overpriced ones at Shoppers Drug Mart or pick up a copy of "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Wechsler--it's a great resource on natural signals of fertility (ovulation).

Not a bad cheap test.
I tried these and my only complaint is that even when positive the line isn't much different then the test line.It is clearly not as dark when negative and I used BBT to verify ovulation. The tests do work and are easy to use.No instructions are included in the package but a web site is given on the invoice that has them.

One little tip...I tried was using them as a mid stream since I find the whole cup thing a bit unsavory.I found I was able to do it and get the same results regardless.I don't know what the manufacturer would say to that, but it saves money on using the mid stream version of the test.

Good product, not so efficient delivery
The product itself was great, easy to use and very reasonably priced.I would hesitate to order these again from this distributor and Amazon however, because of the length of time it took to receive the product.Not at all prompt, as advertised, and I was able to find another site online that had the same pricing, but with much more efficient delivery.

Worked well for me!
These Ovulation Test Strips do not come with instructions; however, in the package the company gives the web address where you can find the instructions (obviously if you bought them online you have access to the internet). The directions on their website, Ovulation-Predictor, are simple enough for ANYONE to follow.

My own experience with these was excellent. They are just as good as the expensive brands, but at a better price.

horrible
I have used the red box Clearblue easy from the store and paid $10 more than here. So when I saw the much lower price I jumped and bought them. To my surprise it wasnt even the same box that they advertise instead is a blue box and all of the sticks were horrible. The control line never got really dark and I could barely see the the other line. I also bought the $1 test and worked way better than this one. In my opinion the substitute sticks are horrible and I didnt even get the product that they were advertising here. I would never buy them again. Willfor sure buy the cheaper ones though since I used them side to side with expensive clearblue easy and they did detect my hormonal shift. DO NOT PURCHASE. ... Read more

Two lines????
I too had two lines on my test, although the first was very faint. The test read "not pregnant", but now I am not so sure...would not buy again.

If you are a frequent HPT taker...don't use this one!
I had an absolutely terrible time with this HPT.The assembly and everything is fine...very self explanatory.I took the test and it read negative.I then took the test stick out to throw it away and noticed two lines on the stick.I, being someone who has taken A LOT of pregnancy tests, know that two lines means pregnant.I then called the company to ask them about this problem.The woman on the phone was VERY rude and explained to me that the stick was not to be read except with the digital reader.I then asked her...well why are there two lines but it still says negative.She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to read the instructions and "somehow" we got disconnected.I still do not know if I am pregnant or not.But when I do finally test again, I will be using a regular "plus" or "minus" one from now on.

I used this test in the evening and within three minutes, I got the "pregnant" reading.The reading stays on for up to an hour after the test is complete.I took another one in the morning and before I even got done going to the bathroom, I had the "pregnant" reading.It is really an idiot-proof test.The test lets you know if you are doing it correctly.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This item is a waste of money. First of all, I could not get enough blood out of my fingers with the two lancets they provided. However, I sent the sample in anyway as I thought maybe it would be enough. They weren't able to test my sample and offered a replacement at half price.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. SAVE THE MONEY AND GO TO YOUR LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

Not easy and painless for me
I applaud Home Access for making an anonymous FDA approved home HIV test kit available, and Amazon.com for making it available from a trusted Internet vendor.Having said that, I can't help but wonder if the people who wrote the other reviews took the same test I took.Every one of them raved about how easy the test is to self-administer. One review even said it was painless. That was definitely not my experience. The supplied lancet is a primitive thing, that is painful and brutal to use.The lancet is sterile, and limits the depth of the puncture; otherwise, it's no better than jabbing yourself with the point of a knife. I had to jab my finger over and over, and squeeze and squeeze to get enough blood to fill the circle on the card.The blood kept clotting between punctures, so I had to keep wiping my finger with the supplied alcohol swab to keep the blood flowing.I'm concerned that the continuous use of the alcohol swab contaminated the blood sample. So, I've decided to take the test again. This time, I've purchased an adjustable, spring-loaded lancet from the drugstore. It's the type diabetics use, and the cost is about seven dollars, which includes a package of sterile blades. With a better lancet, I hope I'll be able to obtain a pure blood sample and have more confidence in the test result.I hope the spring-loaded blade will make it easier for me to jab myself without flinching. The instructions are very detailed and well written, but they may be difficult for some people to follow. The only reason I gave the kit three stars instead of five is the problem I had with the lancet. I recognize that my problem with the lancet may not be typical; however, I suggest that anyone planning to take this test invest a few more dollars in a good lancet, and have it ready before administering the test.

This test was VERY easy to use. I'd definitely recommend it. It comes with clear instructions and has everything you need labeled well and in numerical order. Your name and address are never used. The results are given over the phone using a personal code that came with the kit so your confidentiality is assured. Having to prick your own finger was the hardest part of the whole test, but then I'm a little squeamish anyhow.

Working in the medical field, it never hurts to know one's status. Although we do use universal precautions, I've worked with a lot of AIDS patients, as well as patients who were high risk. The home HIV access system was easy to use with clear, simple instructions. Everything for testing was provided, right down to the postage-paid mailer. It was completely confidential. The only thing I didn't like was going through the numerous menus when you call to give them your code number at the start of the test, but it does contain some useful information. I received my test results in less than a week. You get them by calling a toll-free number and entering your private access code number. I bought this item back in Oct and I got pregnant with no promblem and all.

Mixed Results
I used these for four months and would not recommend them because of my mixed experience.The first two months, the ovulation predictor was positive at the right time and only once, so it seemed they were working.When the ovulation test was not positive at all the next two months, I began to get worried that I wasn't ovulating.Later when my period was late, I used the pregnancy tests.After about three which I thought were negative, I looked closer and noticed there was a faint positive line.I got a First Response pregnancy test 3 pack and took those (of course all three!), and all were positive.So I got pregnant when I was starting to worry I had ovulation problems!
