Great product for kids!!
I wanted to give my child a multi-vitamin to make sure she was getting all the vitamins and nutrients she needed.I went to her doctor and he recommended Gummy Vites as an option because they are easier for kids to take.

I feel better in knowing there is something good for her that she will take.And what's better is my daughter loves the taste of these vitamins!!Highly recommended.

There is no lead.Do the research for yourself!
There were several independent labs that found no detectable lead in the product.The lab that tested it and came out with the lead story gets internet subscribers by getting stories done.They also charge the companies.This just seems wrong to me.I called the lab and the company and I believe the product is fine.From what I can tell the testing was done a long time ago on one batch and may not have been done exactly right.The company gave me much more info than the lab did.My kids and I love these vitamins and have used them for years and we will continue to buy them.

Beyond the lead issue..this is bizarre. Gummy bear vitamins? Unless the child is old enough to understand the difference, what is to stop them from mowing down regular gummy bears because they are under the impression they are good for them? The same with cough syrup suckers, it is medicine, not candy. I would never give these to my kids

Do more research on the lead issue
This product was reported to be contaminated with lead in the June 2004 issue of Oprah. However, the company that made this claim (ConsumerLab.com) clearly has an agenda:to create a scare and drum up publicity (and subscribers). Interestingly, ConsumerLab.com promises not to publicize negative results for manufacturers who pay them off--I wonder if they let their subscribers know that? Two independent labs have found no detectable lead in this product, so given that and what seems to me to be clearly unethical behavior by ConsumerLab.com, I would say this product is SAFER than most other kids' vitamins, which have not been subject to so much scrutiny. (Note: I'd never even HEARD of this product until reading the Oprah article, and have no financial interest in the manufacturer. I'm just angry that a small company with a good product may suffer so ConsumerLab.com can get more subscribers.) Take a look at the gummybearvitamins.com web site for their response.

Good stuff
When starting Niacin, I was worried about 'flush'.Slo-Niacin still can give you a flush, but is usually briefer (2-3 minutes) and milder than I've heard described for 'instant-relase'.

After taking it for about a month, I rarely get a 'flush' but occasionally just a tingle.Now up to three a day, to get 1,500 mg per 'The eight week cholesterol cure' book.

Slo Niacn best at night
Slo-Niacin is not a "No Flush" product.The flushing is much less than with a regular 500mg Niacin but occasional flushing still happens...To avoid the embarrasing blushing/flushing at the wrong time take it at night just before bedtime.If you flush you wont even know it and you won't feel the warmth either... ... DAIRY FREE!Thank you L'il Critters
Thank goodness for L'il Critters! All three of my children have severe food allergies. My oldest son is severly allergic to all dairy, eggs, nuts and some fruits. I have been looking for so long for a calcium sup. for him that did not have dairy in it. Most cotain calcium lactate or something of the sort. To top it off he is a very picky eater and thank goodness he LOVES these chews! Thank you L'il Critters.

I got so sick of the large calcium pills and chews that I stopped taking them.These are so good I don't mind how many I have to take.

Great Vitamins for Women
I have chronic pain from Fibro Myalgia and Endometriosis. I have noticed that when I take these vitamins, I feel energized (but not jittery like coffee would do), I have a more balanced feeling and I just plain feel good. And that is extremely cherished for a person like me. I never go a day without either the Women's Daily pack, or the Stress Pack; I just wish I found these vitamins years before!

A horse is a horse....this isn't Mr. Ed.
It's a multivitamin. It didn't cause any weight loss with me...only an upset tummy when I took it w/o food.

I've been taking it for 18 months
i have been taking this vitamin for over 18 months now. I took this and weight watchers together and lost 36 lbs from 02/03 until 08/03. I do get an energy boost from this vitamon, and when I run out of it, I can tell the difference from missing it just one day. I have to take it with food or I will get sick, but it states on the package to take with food.What works for me may not work for the next person though.

Its Definitely Helped Me
I started taking this about a week or so ago and I definitely lost weight from it. I'm only 17 though so it probably works better for me because I still have a fast metabolism. But I also think it just depends on your body chemistry. It might work for someone else but maybe not you.

You have to sacrifice something!!
I've been taking this product for over a year now.I started when I joined Weight Watchers.I successfully lost over 20 lbs using this product, exercising, and following the Weight Watchers program.The things I noticed is "sleepless nights" - especially if it is taken late in the day. I have to allow my body time to exercise and burn the metabolism down before bedtime.Also, "nausea stomach" if taken on an empty stomach.Otherwise, I believe it does what it promises to do.I guess you have to sacrifice somewhere or something!!!

Not much has changed
I have been using this product for over two weeks now and I feel no change in my energy, metabolism or weight.However, everyone taking this product must realize that it isn't a miracle pill...and things that claim to be will most likely kill you in the long run anyways.Just keep in mind that it is a multi-vitamin so you are getting something good out of it, but most especially...all us lazy people really need to work out and stop wishing for a miracle...it's so upsetting! ...
