Tastes OK, better tasting flavors available
I ordered this product from amazon attracted by the great prices. The delivery was super fast even with super saver shipping. I got it within 3 working days.

The bars themselves are fine. You don't have to force them down your throat but they arn't the best tasting bars from myoplex. Their Choc fudge and Choc Choc chip flavors are 5-star worthy. But the deal is pretty good and I don't regret the purchase.

Delicious
I checked on epinions about myoplex lite and they said they all tasted terrible... except the cinnamon roll one. So I got a cinnamon roll myoplex lite bar and love it. Tastes like a cinnamon rice crispy treat with frosting! It's really one of the rare protein bars I actually look forward to eating.

The protein isnt that much but its a good meal replacement bar if you're trying to lose fat. There is a lot of sugar in it unfortunately so hopefully its not too high on the glycemic scale.

I'd definately recommend this if you need a low calorie protein bar thats sweet, tastes great, and has the feel of a rice crispy treat. ... Read more

Best of the bunch
I have tried 3 different types.These are the best of the bunch.Do to the low carb desire, the taste gets limited.Yet, the strawberry flavor comes through.Also, there is a nutty texture that keeps it from feeling like cardboard.

My favorite of all the Atkins Breakfast Bars
Im a strawberry lover from way back.Also an Atkins lover!So, when I found that I could put the 2 together, I was really happy.These bars taste great.Also enjoy the Apple Crisp and chocolate chip.Blueberry is good, but leaves an after taste.

Atkins morning start bars are good, not great.
I've eaten five different flavors of the Atkins morning start bars. The cinnamon bun flavor is the best; chocolate chip crisp is pretty good; strawberry crisp is okay for a change of pace, as is the apple crisp, and although the blueberry muffin isn't all that bad, I found that it did have something of an aftertaste. For a low carb snack, these are a really good alternative, and I wouldn't be afraid to try any of the flavors that I've mentioned above.

These Creamy Strawberry bars are barely edible.I bought boxes of several different varieties of the Morning Start bars.I haven't tried them all, but I sure hope these are the worst.I am going to eat them, just because I paid good money for them.I sure won't buy any more. ... Read more

Best low-carb bars
Best on the market by value and taste - 60 gr. a bar with 3 gr. net carbs. Got them for $9.99 as the other reviewer but mine have expiry date of Jan 06 so I am sorry I did not order more.

tasted awful!
i'm still in the process of trying different low carb bars, but i'd have to say the atkins bars are the worst tasting. they taste like cardboard.blech! and all the flavors taste almost exactly the same. AVOID!!the only good thing is that they act as a great appetite suppressant. after eating one, im not hungry for HOURS!

EXPIRED!!!
I guess I should have known that at $9.99 a box that there would be something wrong with them...I ordered the Smores and Mocha Crunch varieties of the Atkins Advantage bar, and when they arrived, I noticed that one of the boxes was past the expiration date (Dec 2004) and the other is almost expired (Feb 2005). I can't believe that they can get away with selling expired food without advertising it as such. So, buyer beware! You get what you pay for sometimes! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

All carbs are not equal
I'd just like to dispell another reviewers comment on carbs. I'm a type one diabetic and i've been thru enough nutritional classes tought by medical professionals to know that not all carbs are the same. Net carbs and net carbs only affect blood glucose levels. If you want to see it for yourself go out and buy a blood glucose monitor, test your blood before eating an atkins bar, eat an atkins bar and test your blood 15-20 minutes after eating the bar. You should notice very little difference in your BG level. The next day try the same experimant with a snickers bar or something loaded with carbs/sugar.
