All hype, no service
Customer service is non-existent.I had a problem with my order, (shipped a week later than it was supposed to), no replies to any emails.Then I found out that they overcharged me by $32, once again, no email response.Today I spent almost an hour on the phone just to be told they raised the price in the week I waited for it to ship and they won't honor the old price!Nice!

As far as the food goes, I don't know how it can be advertised as low-glycemic......my breakfast today had 11 grams of sugar.There are other items with too much sugar.And the sodium content is high too, one day I was over 4000mg for the day.That is way too much.

Quality control leaves a bit to be desired as well, I received a lemon poppyseed muffin with mold spots and a chocolate granola bar with an unsealed wrapper.Surprisingly enough, I got no answer to THAT email either.I don't feel like sitting on hold again to address that issue, I'm sure they will do nothing about that either.

I wish I could give them zero stars, because they don't deserve a single one.

The grab and go diet that Works!!!
I just had to sit down and let you all know that if you are looking at this diet plan it works. I have been well over two hundred pounds most of my life since high school. Once even as high as 278 after my child. If there was a crazy diet out I was the first to try it. I have eaten cabbage soup, grapefruit,popped pills, counted calories and points and on and on and on. Every thing took to much time or you had to force your self to do it. I always lost interest, felt hungry and wasdisappointed. Even if I did lose weight it would come back very quickly.

In September of 2002 at 53 years old I came across this Nutri System Eating Plan. Notice I did not call it a diet. I really feel like they taught me how to eat. The hardest thing for me to do my first week was finish all the food I was to have each day. I was so very surprised that I did lose weight that first week. I kept thinking how is this possible. The food tasted so good. It was quick and easy to prepare and take with me to my job at a restaurant where I work about 60 hours per week. I had dessert every day and never felt like this was a diet.

I was so amazed as week by week the weight came off. In September of 2003 I stepped onto the scale and found I weighted 123lbs. I opened by closet and the size 22 clothes were now size 2. I feel like a new person. I have energy and a whole new outlook on life. My legs don't ache at the end of the day, my back does not hurt all the time and my husband runs around taking pictures of me that I do not rip up.

It has been five months now since I met my goal and I have had no problem keeping the weight off. I still order food from Nutri System becuase it tastes so good and I don't always have time to cook for myself. I guess I will always have a few boxes aroundbecause I just miss some of my favorite foods. I eat regular food now and go to restaurants and never forget the lessons I learned about portions and making good choices.

If you want to change your life and get out of the diet trap this is the plan for you. I just wish I had found this grab and go wonder at 23 not 53. Try it for a month and I know you will be very pleased and want to order again, as it will change your whole life. The support is great, the exercise plans easy ( I even learned Yoga ), the planner a must if you are busy like me, there are no negatives here.

I know one thing " I will never be fat again !! " thanks to Nurti System.

Believe me - this plan works!!
My whole life I had been overweight, from early childhood through my mid-30's.Over that time, I tried so many diets with little or no success and with each one gaining a little more as my "guilt" of failing spun me into eating more and more.

That all changed for me when I began using NutriSystem food on June 20, 2001 - the last weight loss program I will ever use or recommend!

In early 2001, my weight had climbed to over 200 lbs and, at only 5', walking even a short distance (from the car to the house) made me so out of breath that I would limit what I did and where I went.

Over the length of my weight loss, 76lbs and taking close to 16 months, the program taught me portion control and behavior modification (which have been PRICELESS lessons to learn) all while eating GREAT tasting NutriSystem meals and desserts.And yes, the food and desserts are yummy and very satisfying!

Because the NutriSystem food is so good, and there are so many different choices, I never once thought about stopping or quitting and days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months and before I knew it I had reached my goal and then some.

As for the food, I personally have so many favorites like the Macaroni w/ cheese and beef, Pizza, Pasta Parmesan with Broccoli, cheeseburgers,... to name just a few, and not to go on and on.

The best part of the NutriSystem program for me was not having to think.Sounds funny I know, but I would just grab a meal and off I went.I believe the NutriSystem program, with its pre-packaged meals, helped me take the fuss and time out of preparing meals so that I could focus my energy on reaching my results.And even better the NutriSystem food only takes a few minutes to prepare and/or heat, and for me that was perfect since I am no cook.

Before NutriSystem my life was filled with a lot of tears, pain, and ridicule from family, friends, and strangers and now - it is full of activities, excitement, laughter, fun, and love for myself!

Trust me - NutriSystem changed my life 180 degrees and my only wish is that I would have learned of the program years ago.But thankfully it wasn't too late.Starting was the best decision of my life!

When I started NutriSystem last February, Now, I'm down 90lbs. and still losing!*

When I look back at what the last ten months have meant to me, my eyes begin to water with tears of joy. When I started NutriSystem, I wasn't on a grand mission; I just wanted to be healthier. While there is a fad diet for every day of the week, I wanted to lose weight and not ruin my body.

Several years ago, I had filled out a diet profile on the NutriSystem website, but then just left it at that-I looked at the info and didn't look back. For the better part of 2002, I was traveling on company business and my active lifestyle caused me to lose about 40 lbs. However, when I returned home to my sedentary lifestyle, I felt the weight slowly creeping back on, so I decided that I needed to exercise. I researched a few pieces of home exercise equipment and bought an elliptical trainer, but in the process, while researching the equipment, I came across information that stated, "For best results, combine with a sensible diet." That statement struck a cord with me and while I was online, I saw a link for NutriSystem. Having saved money on the exercise equipment, I thought I might as well buy a "sensible" diet plan to go along with it.

I have been overweight my entire life and was always paralyzed by the task of losing weight...I knew that I wanted something simple-NutriSystem was that something simple, and when I started to see results, I got so excited!

I don't think I will ever forget that day. It was February 27th, 2003, and I realized that I was well over 100 pounds overweight-I knew I needed to lose some weight. My order arrived March 4th, and I started following the NutriSystem meal plan on March 5th.

At that time, my best friend, was my most vocal cheerleader. We used to go out to eat all weekend when he was in town, but on the plan, we stayed in and I ate "my" food and I would prepare healthier meals for him, too. Within the first 3 weeks, I had lost 12 lbs., but then he was deployed to Iraq. I am so glad that I started NutriSystem before he left because the stress of having a loved one in a life-threatening situation every day is enough to drive even someone who isn't an emotional eater, to snack. At least when there was nothing else in my control, I could control what I ate.

I stuck with NutriSystem and the elliptical trainer, and then also started doing the WAP (Walk Away The Pounds) videos and Curves workouts and the weight started dropping off even faster. I still have inches and body fat that seem to be just falling off!!

I don't feel like I have deprived myself of ANYTHING. With NutriSystem, I am learning portion control and how to eat and not overdo it. I am about halfway to my initially set goal weight and I don't think there is anything that will keep me from reaching that weight in 2004.

The physical transformation that I have undergone while on NutriSystem is nothing short of amazing. I have been overweight my entire life and I was always paralyzed by the task of losing weight. I was so overwhelmed by all the information out there, that I just didn't do anything. But I just finally decided that I had to do something and I knew that I wanted something simple-NutriSystem was that something simple, and when I started to see results, I got so excited!

Now I want everyone to know about how great eating healthily and exercising regularly can make you feel. I am not at goal yet, but I KNOW I will make it!

I am a 38 year old wife and mother of 3 little boys.I work full time so you can appreciate how busy I am.Between work and sports and everyday life, the weight just got out of hand.I have struggled with my weight since I was a teen.I have tried every diet out there, but they only work if you stay committed to them.That is very hard.But with the NS program on line, they make it very easy and fun.The support from other NS members is just incredible.No matter what time of the day, if you find you are struggling with questions, need recipes, need advice, or you are struggling with staying focussed, you can go to the bulletin boards and talk to fellow members.Everyone is so supportive, it is incredible.They also have a section to view the members, see their profiles.I love that section.I love to see the success stories, and there are many there.They have a wonderful newletter that is very informative.I especially love that they use members in their newletter.They have a weight graft that tracks your progress, that is one thing that I find very helpful.

The best thing that I love is the convenience of the food being delivered right to my door.I am on a 28 day autoship program, so if I decide to change my menu at anytime during the month I can right up until the day before they ship the food out.The food is just so delicious.I sometimes have difficulty with my husband and kids trying to sneak bites!The meals are all very easy to read, they come labeled breakfast, lunch, dinner & snack. The program is very easy to follow.They provide a journal, a wonderful information package, exercise programs, and so much more.

My counselor Kathi has been so wonderful!I can either drop her a email or schedule a chat time, she has always been very supportive.

I have been a member since September 2003 and have successfully lost 38 lbs.I made it thru the holidays with their support and advice.I am so happy that I found this program.I have 82 lbs left to go and I know that I will do it with this program.
